Stillness transcends thought...
Thinking is not the enemy. It is not necessary to turn off thought or somehow obliterate it, nor is it really even possible . Thought and emotion have their place and can be very useful sometimes.
There is nothing wrong with thinking itself, but there is often something a bit unbalanced about our relationship to thinking. The basic human dysfunction in terms of obscuring our direct experience of reality is that we take our thoughts about reality to be the primary reality, and it is secondary at best.
So obliterating thought is not the answer. However, we do need to transcend thought and change our relationship to thought and the consequent emotions and reactions to thoughts that always result from any thought that is engaged or entertained.
We do need to see that all thoughts and emotions arise and cease in a still and silent presence. This still and silent presence is the primary, unchanging reality that never comes and never goes but is always here and now, beneath every thought or emotion as it were. All the thoughts and emotions and experiences we ever have are constantly coming and going but the silent, still presence alone remains.
This silent presence cannot even properly be called an experience at all. It is the primal reality in which every experience comes and goes. It is existence or being itself. But stillness is not the absence of thought. It is the transcending of it.

When an ordinary or an illiterate person meets a poet, he sees the man-part and not the poet-part. But if he is told that this person is a poet he may see the poet-part when he meets him. He now sees that he is a poet in his actions and in his words; in everything about him he sees the poet, whereas otherwise he would not have been able to see this. Thus a great poet may go among a crowd and the people will only see the man in him; they do not see the poet, and they do not know how profound his thoughts are. So once a person begins to recognize God in man he does not see the man any more but God. The man is the surface, while God is deep within him. Don’t let the world become familiar
don’t forget the sheer strangeness of being alive.
Don’t forget the sheer strangeness of being here
on the surface of this spinning globe
standing in its soft dark soil
immersed in atmospheric gases, breathing in
to nourish our blood with oxygen
the blue-tinted sky above, full of foaming crystal masses
that fades into black and opens up
to the vast empty fullness of the universe
then turns to face a burning golden ball again
that caresses us with heat and light.
Don’t forget the sheer strangeness of being this body
that breathes and blinks and heals and grows
a miracle of precision and complexity
a city of ceaseless traffic and industry

Enlightened Collectives...
As the new consciousness emerges, some people will feel called upon to form groups that reflect the enlightened consciousness. These groups will not be collective egos. The individuals who make up these groups will have no need to define their identity through them. They no longer look to any form to define who they are....
Dissolving the human ego by bringing it into the light of awareness -- this will be one of the main purposes of these groups, whether they be enlightened businesses, charitable organizations, schools, or communities of people living together.
Enlightened collectives will fulfill an important function in the arising of the new consciousness.
Just as egoic collectives pull you into unconsciousness and suffering, the enlightened collective can be a vortex for consciousness that will accelerate the planetary shift.

Good Environments...
Many years ago one of my two teachers, Kwong Roshi, knew I was going to go out into the mountains backpacking for a few months, so he taught me how to find the right place to stay at night. It's not that he gave me information on how to do it. He just talked about it for a while, and then all of a sudden I realized that I would be able to directly sense the environment that was right for me.
Just as we can feel our environments, we can feel when there is a harmonization of spirit and matter in our environments. Those are good environments to hang out in, and they quite naturally harmonize us.
The more harmonization there is, the more there is an intensification of the Truth, or radiance, within us. Of course the radiance is everywhere. We can't get away from it. But for a period of time, it's helpful to have some intensification in our environment. It's useful to have support because we can lose the sense that there is radiance everywhere all the time.
As we go deeper, we will experience the radiance everywhere, even if it doesn't appear in a concentrated, potent, or powerful way. We come to that by being willing to expose ourselves to experiences and places that make it more potent.

Contemplating, Who Am I ?...
If you would free yourself of the sufferings of the Six Realms, you must learn the direct way to become a Buddha.
This way is no other than the realization of your own Mind.
Now what is this Mind?
It is the true nature of all sentient beings, that which existed before our parents were born and hence before our own birth, and which presently exists, unchangeable and eternal.
So it is called one's Face before one's parents were born.
This Mind is intrinsically pure.
When we are born it is not newly created, and when we die it does not perish. It has no distinction of male or female, nor has it any coloration of good or bad. It cannot be compared with anything, so it is called Buddha-nature.
Yet countless thoughts issue from this Self-nature as waves arise in the ocean or as images are reflected in a mirror.

It is not love, but the pretense of love, that imposes the claim of the self. The first and last lesson in love is, 'I am not -- Thou art' and unless man is moved to that selflessness he does not know justice, right or truth. His self stands above or between him and God.
There is no greater teacher of morals than love itself, for the first lesson that one learns from love is, 'I am not, you are.' This is self-denial, self-abnegation, without which we cannot take the first step on love's path. One may claim to be a great lover, to be a great admirer, to be very affectionate, but it all means nothing as long as the thought of self is there, for there is no love. But when the thought of self is removed, then every action, every deed that one performs in life, becomes a virtue.
He who says, 'I love you but only so much, I love you and give you sixpence but I keep sixpence for myself, I love you but I stand at a distance and never come closer, we are separate beings'- his love is with his self. As long as that exists, love has not done its full work. Love accomplishes its work when it spreads its wings and veils man's self from his own eyes. That is the time when love is fulfilled, and so it is in the life of the holy ones who have not only loved God by professing or showing it, but who have loved God to the extent that they forgot themselves.
Man is here on earth for this one purpose, that he may bring forth that spirit of God in him and thus discover his own perfection. The three stages towards this perfection are the following. The first stage is to make God as great and as perfect as your imagination can. ....
The second stage is the work of the heart... The first lesson that love teaches us is: 'I am not. Thou art.' The first thing to think of is to erase ourselves from our minds and to think of the one we love. As long as we do not arrive at this idea, so long the word love remains only in the dictionary. Many speak about love but very few know it. Is love a pastime, an amusement, a drama; is it a performance? The first lesson of love is sacrifice, service, self-effacement. ... To close the eyes for prayer is one thing, and to produce the love of God is another thing. That is the second stage in spiritual realization, where, in the thought of God, one begins to lose oneself in the same way that the lover loses the thought of self in the thought of the beloved.
And the third stage is different again. In the third stage the Beloved becomes the Self, and the self is there no more. For then the self, as we think it to be, no longer remains. The self becomes what it really is. It is that realization which is called Self-realization.
We begin to see God...
We have been told by those who know by direct experience that God is Existence, Consciousness and Bliss.
But what does that actually mean?
If God is existence itself then God cannot really be said to exist. But I exist and you exist. Then you and I must exist in this God who is existence itself, and logically it must follow that God is in us.
"In God we live and move and have our being" said Saint Paul.
Then we might think, "If I am in God and God is in me, why don't I know it?
Why have I been running around everywhere looking for God who is already within me?"
Looking for God is completely understandable. We are hard-wired to look for God. The question is, why do we continue looking in the wrong direction?
Why do we look for God out there somewhere when God has always been within our own heart?
The really ironic thing is that once we find God on our heart, we begin to see God in everything, and we see everything in God.

I posted about the Gnostic Enlightenment because it is the Enlightenment that I experienced..
Once, the egoic consciousness was surrendered to the Universe,
and the pain and fear of death was experienced,
Reality was entered..
You advanced Mystics will know of what I am speaking..
The Nothingness of darkness was entered and was immediately transformed into the Light of God.
This has been my experience and obviously the experience of many other mystics..
At this point, the dream has been forgotten and the mystery of Now is Reality..
Your life within this world was just a dream and the characters, actors, and souls of even the beloved has been left behind..
You that are still attached to the souls and physical bodies of those that you love will find this to be hard to believe..
But, it is True..
It was all a dream..
And now where are You?..
A step further calls You but will you proceed while You feel the eternity of Love?..
Ask the Father within this Light for answers..
But, when I asked if this was the final Reality, For the first time, He would not answer..
After returning to this dimension I found that Pure Awareness Awaits the Inquirer..
The Inquirer has lost all Personality even the Personality of Father God..
Only the Energy of Love, Exists..
All else are illusions and dreams...

Can we ever escape from the relativity which affects everything from an ant to an aeon?
In a universe where everything is in process of continuous change and is ever becoming something else, where nothing has a self-existence that is really enduring, where every ephemeral change seems the only reality at the moment, can we hope to find something that exists by its own right and forever exists unchanged in itself?
Reality that IS?
The answer is provided by philosophy.
Our intellects and senses may misapprehend it and perceive form without perceiving its essence.
Nevertheless, reality interpenetrates everything and goes out into all things.
There is nothing here in this space-time without its share in reality.
Hence philosophy bids us see through the multitudinous forms of the world into the unity upon which they are grounded, without, however, letting our consciousness lose, as the mystic loses, the forms themselves.
And this unitary substance is none other than Mind-essence itself.

Money...
Paying bills on time is a subject that pushes it's finger into my mind.
Since, I spend most of my time watching the illusions instead of being within the illusions, I have to be careful to remember that money is important within this world.
Therefore, I try to pay the bills using the automatic withdrawal systems of banking or I immediately pay the bill as it arrives, otherwise, I will forget about this system of monetary exchange and get myself in trouble within this dream..
I live without luxuries and therefore always find money to pay bills but the thought of money is rarely within my thoughts..
I find joy within the experience of the non-experience of careing about money..
The talk is always about the revaluations of currency and the various mystical funds that will make us wealthy but this has no effect upon my mind to create desires for wealth..
It is more fun to live without desires..

Belief is natural, and disbelief is unnatural, for belief is born in man, and unbelief is acquired. ... Every child born on earth is born with a tendency to believe what is told him, but the experience of the individual in this world full of falsehood teaches man to disbelieve. That shows that every soul comes from the world of truth, and opens his eyes in the world of falsehood. Every child comes into the world with that purity of heart whose natural tendency is to believe and later he acquires the tendency to doubt. The Prophet has therefore said: 'Every child is born a believer, it is afterwards that he becomes an unbeliever.' ... For doubt is earth-born and belief is heaven-born.
The tendency to doubt, to be depressed, the tendency towards fear, suspicion and confusion, the tendency to puzzle -- where does it all come from? It all comes from the thought of getting something in return: 'will another give me back what I have given him? Shall I get the just portion back, or less?' if that is the thought behind one's acts there will be fear, doubt, suspicion, puzzle and confusion. For what is doubt? Doubt is a cloud that stands before the sun, keeping it from shining its light. So is doubt: gathering around the soul it keeps its light from shining out, and man becomes confused and perplexed. Once selflessness is developed, it breaks through the cloud saying, 'What do I care whether anyone appreciates it; I only know to give my service, and that is all my satisfaction. I do not look forward to get it back. I have given and it is finished; this is where my duty ends.' That person is blessed, because he has conquered, he has won.
Understanding does not depend upon the head; it depends upon the heart. By the help of the head one can make it more clear, it becomes intelligible and one can express it better. But to begin with it must come from the heart, not from the head. Besides, a person who only uses his head says, 'It must be so because I think it is so', whereas the person who has the heart quality says, 'It is so because I believe it to be so'. What is consciousness ?...
What is it that perceives this thought? What is it that perceives this feeling? What is it that speaks right now?
Can you notice that consciousness is required to perceive the thought, to perceive the feeling?
Something perceives the thought you just shared with me. What is it that is conscious of the thought that says: 'I don't know what consciousness is.'?
Without awareness of the experience, what is experience?
Without consciousness, what would any question, any thought, any perception, any feeling be?
We don't know a thought, we only know our knowing of the thought. We only know our knowing. The knowing knows the knowing. It knows itself. You perceive yourself. Consciousness consciousnesses itself.
Whatever it is that perceives the thought, that perceives the sensation is the substance-less substance that appears as all sensations, perceptions, thoughts... that is what we refer to as consciousness.
Only consciousness can be conscious that it is conscious since only consciousness is conscious. When you realize that you are conscious, it is you as consciousness that is conscious that you are consciousness. Do you see what I mean?
What is observed is not conscious on its own. The separate self that you perceive, the body mind that you perceive is not conscious on its own. It is consciousness that is conscious and it manifests as the world, body and mind, out of its freedom and love.
It is consciousness that gives the impression of life. Do you know the image of God blowing life into mankind? In this image, God is consciousness and mankind is the world, body and mind. God creates the world, body and mind out of herself.
Life is consciousness. Everything is consciousness. Do not limit your experience to a mind conversation.
Notice the knowingness of the mind, the knowingness of the world and body. You are this knowingness.

Dear Humans,
Today I wish to return to your awareness an aspect of the Human condition that resonates at the core level. It’s a doorway to a place colloquially referred to as “everyday life” where an array of vibrations loosely define the boundaries of right and wrong. It’s an illusory canvas of both shadow and light, a masterpiece commissioned by the will of the collective. And within this dynamic, rhythmic, mutable creation we find one dominating color. For now we’ll call this the color of “normal.” To my eyes it’s rather blue.
When tuned to normal some can navigate through this construct without drawing much attention. They can essentially live an entire life and make barely a ripple. It’s not that they are void of vibration –but choose to not distinguish themselves in this manner. They choose to synchronize with the greater masses within the socially-acceptable waveform of normalcy.
While in this cocoon there are no high-highs or low-lows. They find solace in seeking others for advice and solutions. They benefit from the narrow margins they must work under and the supervised nature of their roles. They do not have to make very many weighty decisions- so they are less apt to suffer any major consequences. Solidly placed within this vibration is the desire to please, cooperate and conform. Life is experienced under a veil of relative invisibility -save for the need of occasional approval and validation. Does this vibration look a bit blue to you as well?
This doorway leads not to innovation, prodigal genius or invention, but rather to one of obedience and servitude. There is nothing innately wrong with this vibration. To be clear, it serves as a “carrier wave,” allowing other frequencies and even wanton energies to hop on board and be shuttled along for the ride. People of this resonance can be controlled parasitically by the institutions they submit to.
You, my dear reader, are not simply a carrier-wave vibration. A carrier-wave vibration would not be visiting this website nor exploring content of this nature. You are at the leading edge of this waveform of consciousness –or more specifically, you’re about three degrees out of phase with it. In the following paragraphs I intend to demonstrate just how “abnormal” you are. And in the process I sense you will see just how vital your role is to all Humankind.
All the World’s a Vibration
“Everything vibrates. Life is vibration. So is mind. So is matter.” – Edgar Cayce
It’s been famously stated “all the world’s a stage.” But the “stage,” like everything else, is a vibrational condensate offering merely an illusion of solidity within this three-dimensional construct. All the world’s a vibration- including that stage. And vibrations are waves of varying frequencies. They can be characterized as any number of wave forms, including the perfect symmetry of a sine wave. A sine wave forms a circle when folded over. The circle symbolizes eternity, unity and connectedness.
The circle’s cousin, the sine wave, symbolizes yin and yang and the duality of existence. It has positive and negative peaks and is separated by an equatorial “0” point. Like a circle, its degrees add up to 360. But the sine wave embodies the message of dualism, the up and down, the plus and minus, the rise and fall. These expressions are both literal and metaphorical. They are living and non-living. Whereas the circle offers a perfect neutral (as in zero “O”), the sine wave creates perfect opposition and polarity, a rhythmic cycle and an energetic presence.
In the organic expression, the heart beats in what it beats out- the lungs breathe in what they breathe out. There is a rhythm of (in-rest-out) that emulates the shape of a sine wave. In the case of lungs- the inhaled breath is oxygenated (or on the plus side of the wave) and the exhaled breathe has less oxygen (or the minus side of the wave). There is equity and balance with what comes in and what goes out and each side of the wave is a complimentary opposite of the other. The “resting point” is that silent place of perfect harmony between both energies. It is the twilight of the evening or the dawn of the morning- it’s the quintessential beginning and end. Here one will find the node of serenity and enlightenment.
Vibration of Truth

So we go through life day to day in a vibration of normalcy. People look to another for reassurance and recalibration of this waveform. If one deviates too greatly from the center of this spectrum they are quickly dismissed and ejected from the gathering. They are no longer considered to be part of the unified energy and collective consciousness. There is some value to this. Native Americans would ostracize evil doers from the tribe. For the guilty, this was a fate worse than imprisonment. So the template of normalcy plays a vital role. But it requires gentle care and discernment.
The enlightened offer a different ray of light to this vibration. They are able to “snap in and out” of this collective energy. By doing so they are able to see the waveform from the outside looking in, as well as experience it from the inside. People who are trapped by the waveform never get an opportunity to see the very construct that entrains them. By stepping outside the “normal” vibration, the enlightened can appeal to the collective –unconscious with concepts and ideas that transcend ordinary thinking. But the mindset of normalcy is a stubborn one indeed. This aspect, however, if allowed to remain static can ultimately lead to the demise of the species. During the cold war- such a fate almost came to fruition. Inflexible thinking and ego-driven bias almost lead to a disaster of incomprehensible scale.
There is entropy in all things and the waveforms of daily experience offer no exception. Without the excitation of an external influence, the ordinary waveform would soon degrade and collapse within a remarkably short amount of time. It is the continual spark of genius, the alternative views, the irreverent humor that helps provide the three-degree push the waveform of normalcy so desperately needs. A highly energetic platform will compress this wave even farther resulting in higher awareness and comprehension. These frequencies awaken deeper understandings and solicit powerful abilities. Humanity is now beginning to resonate at these energies.
The vibration of truth has a distinctive tone. People are rapidly becoming attuned with this energy. As a result, it is getting harder to soft-soap ideas that serve a nefarious purpose. People are less likely to be bamboozled and mislead by the disingenuous and charlatans. Those who operate three degrees out of phase have been vigilant in their efforts in helping others to see. In the words of Schoepenhouer, "All truth goes through three stages. First it is ridiculed. Then it is violently opposed. Finally it is accepted as self-evident." The state of normalcy has to recalibrate constantly to keep up with the rapid enlightenment that is now sweeping the world.
Guardians of the Waveform
There’s a special group of people I regard as the “guardians of the waveform.” It’s a mostly unorganized group of independent thinkers who can read the writing on the wall. They are neither passive nor overtly aggressive. They are more like master chess players who can see how the board is laid out. They are expert at anticipating the next move. Most importantly, they are benevolent and genuinely care about the fate of the Human race. So they communicate their ideas in various ways- through music, documentaries, websites and even through casual conversation. Because their intentions are heart-felt and noble, their message resonates.
For those who operate in front of the waveform, who can look back and see its shape and flow, your efforts are not in vain. You are instrumental in reshaping the so-called “normalcy bias”- working against energies that try to define normal in ways that are anything but. Through the eyes of a visitor from another world, normal might appear as an avid TV watcher. Normal would appear to always acquiesce to authority and never challenge the status-quo. Normal is to drink Diet Coke, eat fast-food hamburgers daily and take strong pharmaceuticals to treat the depression that was brought on by trying so hard to be normal. Normal is cheering aggressively for a football team that never cheers you back. Normal is to drink the fluoridated water and not ask salient questions about it efficacy. --But isn’t interesting that this no longer sounds even remotely normal to you, dear reader? That’s because you’re slightly out of phase.
The malleable, placid form of “normal” is what the controllers strive for. They will compromise information and morality and weaken the spirit in any way possible to maintain a lower (subclass) vibration. They know that the population is capable of resonating at a much higher frequency. So the brakes are applied chemically, psychologically, and scholastically and in any other modality that serves the controllers. And then finally, when down for the count- the ones who’ve compromised their better judgment in the name of servitude will simply be abandoned and quickly forgotten.
The guardians of the waveform work in earnest to raise awareness. They walk a fine line of imparting information in small, digestible bits. If they offer too much at once, they will be dismissed as a fool or worse. If they don’t impart enough workable data then people will not take notice. The guardians of the waveform observe how the controllers manipulate mass consciousness and they work hard to rectify the damage. They must battle trolls and a myriad of other orchestrated maneuvers that attempt to damage the credibility of those who wish to raise the vibration. They must also deal with hi-jacked look-alikes that ultimately present a shadowy agenda while wearing a robe of benevolence. This is why it is vitally important to attune to the vibration of truth. Once accomplished, one cannot be fooled or tricked. I guess you can see why the powers that (want to) be are not too keen on this idea called enlightenment.
Final Thought
A properly calibrated phase shift can create amplitude in a waveform and sustain it at a higher frequency. Universe brings into creation those who can positively contribute to this energy. Such people have been somewhat rare in the past –but now that’s rapidly changing. An age of enlightenment has dawned and the powers that (want to) be are scrambling to keep control. But the shift is in place and is now accelerating faster than has ever been witnessed before.
To those living three degrees out of phase- it has not been easy on you. You’ve been alienated, misunderstood and abandoned by even those closest to you. It is an unfortunate truth that one must be out of phase with the wavelength of the collective in order to see it. If one is swept in by the construct of normalcy, the vibrational space they live in will remain invisible to them. This is why it is so difficult (if not impossible) to communicate higher truths to those who have fully adopted the uniform waveform of normalcy.
You were gifted with a special sight. You are able to see this waveform. Your vision elicits stewardship and advice. You see the external forces acting upon the mind-collective attempting to erode its shape and remove its peaks. Together we can will this “blue” color into the light of violet indigo- and even into energies beyond that.
So a personal thank you from me to you, for your gentle guidance and assistance during this time of turmoil and difficulty, anger and despair. But most of all thank you for your “abnormality” of being able to see three degrees out of phase and lighting the path for others to a place of higher vibration.

REVOLUTIONARY TYPE OF LOVE: The way we are taught to relate to love is in such a way that it BINDS us. Because the love that we are taught primarily around us that we see in our commercials, in our movies, in our sitcoms and the people around us is this love that is concerned with coming together. And we don't usually associate this idea of coming together with anything negative, which is the power of it. It is another unfortunate thing about how we see love in our culture. In ancient times they saw love in a much wider view. The ancient greeks could see that love could be something wonderful and amazing but they also knew that the Goddess Aphrodite could be quite cunning and deceptive. And we don't have much space in our culture for the cunning and deceptiveness of love as we are taught it. The sad thing that the love we are taught is quite deceptive and cunning and it actually leads us into a deeper state of unconsciousness, because it is a love that is synonymous with wanting, desire, seeking fulfillment, losing oneself, ---there is nothing wrong with it, it is a particular type of love, it is the love we know.
When you see something or someone and you want them at whatever level you want them that is power of love that is trying to bind you to them, attach yourself to them like a barnacle to a boat. And don't misunderstand me, it is lovely (laughter). Sometimes we find that the boat does not want the barnacle (laughter). But if you really look at it that is the kind of love we are taught to to worship and to expect and to think this will bring us satisfaction, that this will sooth the yearning of the human heart. And off course it is deceptive because for a while it does sooth the yearning of the human heart, it works temporarily . It is remittent reinforcement because you get the feeling of being temporarily whole and complete and while that is happening you forget about the rest of the story. You forget the desire part and the neediness and the wantingness and the after effect that whatever binds you is intimately linked with feeling separate and other than.
So it is a bit unfortunate this notion of love that comes down to us. Because if this is all we know of it then we are setting up ourselves to be deceived. This love that binds you together and you lose your senses. It is a cunningness, it is an unconsciousness that we all have been swept into, at some point, you think how did I get here? This isn't what it promised to be? It felt more right than anything!
That is what the ancients knew.. Like in Greece they had a certain respect, the idea that it can be very deceptive and cunning and pull us into confusion. If it wasn't for that you wouldn't be here, unless mom and dad were not drawn tighter in grasping love we would not be here. So its not good or bad. Nothing is really good or bad, it is how you see it.
So we have to borrow other words from other cultures to have a bigger view of love. Agape is a selfless love. Agape is a love without need or want, it is a love that flows out of fullness; rather than a love that is looking for fullness or wholeness. It flows out of fullness. And one can not fake Agape. This is the kind of love Jesus was talking about: Love your neighbor as yourself; that is Agape. Our love is "possess your neighbor as yourself" then scratch your head and wonder why we have a 50% divorce rate---expect your neighbor to fill up yourself. But agape is something quite different. Agape comes from a wholeness. And it is an outflow rather than a gathering. Rather than a desire being satisfied. Because all spiritual teachings have said that the greatest impediments to our spiritual realization is desire.
Everyone thinks they know what desire means. I want this or I want that. Desire and aversion. But the amazing thing in our culture is that we worship Desire. Whether it is a desire for a human being or gadget or toy. if it wasn't for desire our economy would come to a screeching halt, the whole world would come to a screeching halt. It comes from when we are identified from our exterior nature, our incarnation. That is what incarnation wants, it seeks union, it seeks joining. Because our incarnated nature is not wrong, it has unfathomable beauty that we can only see when we wake up to a different kind of life. So this incarnated nature we have sense a certain incompleteness. If it was not incompleteness we would not be on a spiritual path.
It comes from a simple forgetfulness. We forget that what we really are is pure immortal spirit. Incarnation does that, you forget it quickly, And as soon as you forget it you feel that yearning, that wanting, and the first place we go to address it is Desire. This will solve it, that will solve it, that person will solve it, this person will solve it. I got my 800 inch TV; I am happy (laughter). But not for long, huh?. Maybe a night or two. Then it just another appliance in the house and that is how it all goes. It is funny, it can never be satisfied.
In Buddhism they have this image of a Hungry Ghost and the hungry ghost is talking about you and me. When we forget what we are we become a Hungry Ghost. And the Hungry Ghost is depicted with hits head back its stomach is bottomless so no matter how much it gets it wants more, it is never satisfied. Now this is why spiritual teachers for 1,000s of years have said to people in their own way to not count on your desires to make you happy. To try to stop desiring is the stupidest thing because to try to stop desire is more desiring. It does not help to look at it that way. It is perfectly okay to have that desire, that wanting to join, to want to be close, intimate, there is nothing wrong with it, it is part of your incarnation. But also don't forget that everything is a double edge sword. What is so beautiful and amazing, this ability to join and become close has its counterpart, the ability to deceive, the ability to go unconscious. And so you can't just throw that desire out the window, because it does not work like that, but when you have been through enough cycles and something in you is starting to go "the next thing is not going to do it". But there will still be that desire. It is the same thing as our desire for God--it is the desire to be possessed, to disappear into the Beloved and that is used to draw us in also. But you can disappear a thousand times into the arms of the Beloved and want to disappear again. If you know what you are doing then it is a beautiful game, it is fine, if you are not looking for completion and satisfaction in it. If you see no ultimate separation between you and the other, between you and God.
Our Agape comes from our essence. And our essence comes from an outflow. Off course it has its own exquisite beauty to it. What we think of love is something we love or desire or disappear into and --Agape instead is an outflow, a selfless outflow that only comes from our essence. It is more of an overflow than our human nature would need, infinitely more. And when you meet anything in that kind of love that kind of devotion it is a totally different kind of love. It is a love with no grasping, no fear, no "I need". You have probably touched this at times---this outflow, or it can be a sense of your own wholeness and completeness for no reason whatsoever. Most people would be terrified with that type of love, because it does not need you, it does need to possess you, it doesn't need to to hold on to you, it does not need to plug into you like an electric socket to get what it needs. IT is a love that stands on its own and it is completely full and complete. It comes from a direct experiential knowledge of its true nature. There is nothing more beautiful than somebody recognizing their fullness. The other type of love is still available, it still happens, but then it is more like a celebration than a seduction. One is not doing it to get anything back, it is just fun. So it not like you lose the other thing, or that you have to lose the other thing, you just loose your grasping, your commitment to this deficient love that we are sold and taught. And we spend a good portion of our lives trying to figure out why it hasn't worked: "You haven't made me happy, what is wrong with you? You haven't made me whole, let me find another" There is nothing in life more sweet than someone finding their freedom from you, it is the most beautiful thing in the world.
The fullness of spirit is the overflow, where you have got more than you need. And it is there within everybody, it is just recognizing your own essential nature, your own divinity. Because really, truly, everyone is a divine immortal spirit and I try to point that out all the time. That within that body of incarnation and conditioning and karma that it carries around, that it is filled to the brim with your true nature. That spiritual essence is everywhere. But it is very much like love, if you look in all the wrong ways and all the wrong places you will never be satisfied but if you look in the right way and in the right place, if you look inside for what is already whole, that unobstructed consciousness. Call if whatever you want consciousness, spirit---that inside you that is unconditioned, already pure, it is just waiting for your recognition, your devotion. Am I really devoted to that silent and complete, bright and radiant No-Thingness? Do I give it the slightest glance? What matters to humans most is where we put our attention. What you value is what you put your attention on. And if you are not putting your attention on it don't feel bad because that is another form of self-deception. If shame and guilt worked then I would be all for it, but it doesn't work. Is what you are putting your attention on satisfying? When you see it is not satisfying then quite spontaneously you will become devoted to something else.
It is just seeing what really bring fulfillment? And if you stay with this unobstructed unconditioned consciousness---don't look to your mind, your mind is conditioned to the hilt---if you really start putting your attention on the unconditioned (silent) part of you it will come alive. It really will. Just dwell on that. And then at some point it will start to flow out. And it some point you will start to see that spiritual essence every where you look. Look from the heart.

The ideal life is at least to try to live up to one's ideal. But in order to have an ideal one must first awaken to an ideal. Not everyone possesses an ideal; many people do not know of it. It is no exaggeration to say that the wars and disasters we have gone through, the unrest that all feel, and the disagreement among the people which is sometimes seen and sometimes not seen, are all caused by one thing and that is the lack of an ideal.
Is it power which is the object of the spiritual person, or is it inspiration after which he seeks? It is in fact neither of these things which he pursues, but all such things as power and inspiration follow him as he proceeds on his path towards the spiritual goal. The goal of the spiritual person is self-realization, and his journey is towards the depth of his own being, his God, his ideal.

Usually, we search for understanding because we believe that it will lead to true experience. We try to understand every experience that is brought to us, and then we have our little mental niches where we put the experience.
This is one example of how the great power of the mind leads our lives. But when it comes to the recognition of truth, the mind is not equipped to lead. It is exquisitely equipped to discover or to follow, but not to lead.
The mind is not the enemy; there is nothing wrong with it. The tragedy is that we believe the conclusions of the mind to be reality.

This is not the kneeling to royalty or human authority but the negative egoic authorities claim it as it's own..

To an angelic soul, love means glorification
To a jinn soul, love means admiration
To a human soul, love means affection
To an animal soul, love means passion.
One need not fall in love, one must rise through love. Pour out floods of love, yet keeping your garment of detachment from being wet.
... To what does the love of God lead? It leads to that peace and stillness which can be seen in the life of the tree which flowers and bears fruit for others and expects no return.
... A person who is able to help others should not hide himself but do his best to come out into the world. 'Raise up your light high', it is said. All that is in you should be brought out, and if the conditions hinder you, break through the conditions!
He who says, 'I love you but only so much; I love you and give you sixpence but I keep sixpence for myself; I love you but I stand at a distance and never come closer, we are separate beings' -- his love is with his self.
As long as that exists, love has not done its full work. Love accomplishes its work when it spreads its wings and veils one's self from one's own eyes. That is the time when love is fulfilled.

There is no reason for anyone to feel discouraged by his weaknesses or deficiencies, or by his actions that have dissatisfied him, or by anything in life that has failed. He should forget the past that has failed him, and begin to construct and mold his future as he would wish it to be. Considering that as a branch is not separate from the bough, and the bough is not separate from the stem, so with all our limitations we are not separate from the will of the Unlimited One.
I remember a Persian verse made by my murshid which relates to the self: 'When I feel that now I can make peace with my self, it finds time to prepare another attack.' That is our condition. We think that our little faults, since they are small, are of no consequence; or we do not even think of them at all. But every little fault is a flag for the little self, for its own dominion. In this way battling makes man the sovereign of the kingdom of God. Very few can realize the great power in battling with and conquering the self.
But what does man generally do? He says, 'My poor self, it has to withstand the conflicts of this world; should I also battle with this self?' So he surrenders his kingdom to his little self, depriving himself of the divine power that is in the heart of man. There is in man a false self and a real self. The real self contains the eternal; the false self contains the mortal.
The real self has wisdom; the false self ignorance. The real self can rise to perfection; the false self ends in limitation. The real self has all good, the false self is productive of all evil. One can see both in oneself: God and the other one. By conquering the other one, one realizes God. This other power has been called Satan; but is it a power? In reality it is not. It is and it is not. It is a shadow. We see shadow and yet it is nothing. We should realize that this false self has no existence of its own. As soon as the soul has risen above the false self, it begins to realize its nobility.
lets go of you!...
You never really 'let go' of anything, not really.
And you don't really need to make letting go of stuff into a self-improvement project of some kind.
It is more like a dawning realization that every single thing, without exception, eventually, inevitably, lets go of you!
Every single thing that arises, ceases.......And you are all that remains.
You never arise and never cease.
You are ultimately the birth-less and death-less reality.
Anything that comes and goes cannot ultimately be you,
because when it goes,
where would you be?..

The Awakening Process...
Ed: You make it sound like the awakening process continues
even now.
JM: In a way. The awakening part was a very distinct event,
like a nuclear explosion, and occurred for me many years
ago. The post-awakening process taking place since then
is like the protracted effects of radiation poisoning. Your
nose doesn't fall off in the first instant, it stays on for
awhile. You know it's not going to stay on for long so you
enjoy it while you can. You know what's coming, you
know it's inevitable; you don't fear it or seek to avoid it.
On the other hand, you're fond of your nose. I have a
fondness for my nose so maybe I staple it on or use a little
duct tape so I can keep it a little longer.
I'm not making
an argument for this or defending a position, I'm just
sharing my observations of the process. The awakening is
complete, perfect, and irreversible, but no outer representation
can reflect the inner state. At any moment since the
point of awakening I can and have shaken myself like a
wet dog to cast off all the rags of self; the tatters of
costume.
Ed: So you can throw off self and put it back on?
JM: Such as it is. It's in an advanced state of decay and I can't
stop or reverse that, but I can try to squeeze some further
use out of what remains. I suppose I'll be able to fake my
own personhood for as long as I live, but the veneer is
getting pretty thin. Does any of this make sense?
Ed: It's only in interacting with people, with ego, that this is
a problem?
JM: Yes. I have no other reason to slip into character. It's not
really much of a problem, though. Not interacting with
people is no great hardship for me.
Ed: And it's not theoretical, right? You're not speculating,
you're describing your actual experience?
JM: Yes. My experience is that of a non-egoic being who can
wrap himself in a threadbare ego when necessary.
Ed: And you don't see the paradox?
JM: The whole selfless self thing? I'll address this by saying
that the enlightened state is not, as is commonly
supposed, the special state. The unenlightened state is the
magical, mysterious, incomprehensible state. Awake is
just awake. It's not something more, it's everything less.
My state is natural and easy. I carry no baggage. I labor
under no delusion. I don't spend my lifeforce animating a
fictional persona.
All paradox lies with the unawakened
state. The awakened don't have something that the
unawakened are missing, it's the other way around. The
unawakened possess massive structures of false belief.
They create and maintain these vast realms of past,
present and future; of great meaning and importance; of a
deep and wide emotional range;
all woven together out of
sheer nothingness. Something from nothing; that's the
magic, that's the special state. The unawakened state is
the one that requires such ceaseless dedication and devotion
and which seems so fantastically improbable. The
awakened state is nothing compared to that.
Ed: That doesn't sound so good.
JM: I never said it was.
Ed: Are you saying it's not?
JM: No. The lifeforce I'm not using to project a false self is
now available for much more fun and interesting
purposes. It's a whole different universe once all that petty
self crap has been left behind.

Religion is a need of the human soul. In all periods and at every stage of the evolution of humanity there has been a religion which people followed, for at every period the need for religion has been felt. The reason is that the soul of man has several deep desires, and these desires are answered by religion.
The first desire is the search for the ideal. There comes a time when man seeks for a more complete justice than he finds among men, and when he seeks for someone on whom he can rely more surely than he can on his friends in the world. There comes a time when man feels a desire to open his heart to a Being who is above human beings and who can understand his heart. ... He feels the need of asking forgiveness of someone who is above human pettiness, and of seeking refuge under someone stronger than he. And to all these natural human tendencies there is an answer which is given by religion, and that answer is God.
When speaking on the subject of ideal life, the words of the Prophet of Islam may be quoted, where he says, 'Every soul has its own religion.' This means that every soul has a certain direction which it has chosen, a goal to attain during life. This goal is a certain ideal, which depends on the soul's evolution. ... In the Hindu language, the same word, Dharma, means both duty and religion. Both are expressed by one word. 'This is your Dharma' means: 'This is your faith.' How beautiful the thought is! Whatever kind of duty it is, so long as you have an ideal before you and are performing that duty, you are walking in the path of religion.
We, with our narrowness of faith or belief, accuse others of belonging to another religion, another chapel or church. We say, 'This temple is better, that faith is better.' The whole world has kept on fighting and devastating itself just because it can not understand that each form of religion is peculiar to itself. Therefore, the ideal life is in following one's own ideal. It is not in checking other people's ideals.
The whole aim of the Sufi is, by thought of God, to cover his imperfect self even from his own eyes, and that moment when God is before him and not his own self, is the moment of perfect bliss to him. My Murshid, Abu Hashim Madani, once said that there is only one virtue and one sin for a soul on the path: virtue when he is conscious of God and sin when he is not

This state is called Enlightenment..
Only then will You Realize that You have been Dreaming..

The next stage is called Pure Awareness and contains no ego or personality,

This state is that of Pure Love and is called Home...

As one goes further in the soul's unfoldment one finally arrives at the stage of revelation. Life begins to reveal itself, the whole of life, each soul becomes communicative -- not only living beings but each thing. They say that the twelve apostles knew all languages. It does not mean that they knew English, French and Italian, but that they knew every soul's language, as every soul has its own separate language. They began to perceive vibrations and so every evolved soul will feel the vibrations of every other soul, and every condition, every soul, every object in the world will reveal its nature and character to him. Sa'di, the Persian poet, has said, 'Once a soul has begun to read, every leaf of the tree becomes as a page of the sacred book of life'.
A keen observation of life in time awakens us to the fact that when once the light is thrown upon life, life begins to reveal itself. As Sa'adi has said, 'Even the leaves of the tree become as pages of the sacred book once the eyes of the heart are open.'
Anyone who has some knowledge of mysticism and of the lives of the mystics knows that what always attracts the mystic most is nature. Nature is his bread and wine. Nature is his soul's nourishment. Nature inspires him, uplifts him and gives him the solitude for which his soul continually longs. Every soul born with a mystical tendency is constantly drawn towards nature. In nature that soul finds its life's demand, as it is said in the Vadan, 'Art is dear to my heart, but nature is near to my soul.'...
From the moment man's eyes open and he begins to read the book of nature he begins to live; and he continues to live forever
without division...
What matters is to realize our true nature.
That is a silent realization that brings an end to the conversation with seeming others and opens wide the doors of the heart, the doors of all hearts as One.
What was previously believed to be real is revealed to be a trail, a reflection, part of the path to the seamless knowing Self, that is the substance of everything, that is the only substance-less substance.
The seamless knowing of experience is being the transparent presence that is the substance of experience.
Although unperceived, the seamless knowing of experience knows itself by being itself and knows the world, body and mind as itself, without division..
