' The bright core within '...

If the divine presence is dwelling at the core of his mind, then the divine bliss, peace, and strength are dwelling at the core of his mind too.

Why then should he let outward troubles rob him of the chance to share them?

Why should he let only the troubles enter his consciousness, and withdraw all attention from the bliss and peace and strength?

The conditions of this world are subject to the cosmic law of change. They are temporary. But the bright core within him is not.

Why then give a permanent meaning to those conditions by a total surrender to the sadness they cause?
