"The Realized Christ" by Joel S. Goldsmith:...

"We must develop the habit, first of all, to realize that we have no goal other
than the achievement of the kingdom of God, that we have no demonstration to
make, except the demonstration of our spiritual selfhood. That we must
demonstrate. We must demonstrate to our own satisfaction, and to the world, our
spiritual selfhood. We must come into actual contact, actual living of our
spiritual selfhood.

First of all, this is necessary for our own development; secondly, it is
necessary as a witness to the world that God is individual selfhood; and that
this state of being may be attained by all those who are ready to give up the
world. Not give up the world in the sense of moving out to a monastery or a
convent, but to give up the world in a sense of giving up our desires for the
peace that it can give. "My peace I give unto you, not as the world giveth."

The moment that we separate ourselves from the desire for the peace that the
world can give us (increased supply, increased home, increased companionship)
and set ourselves firmly to seeking "My Peace," the spiritual peace, the inner
peace, then we have no concern with the outer world because all things fall into
place. And we literally find that all things are added unto us without our
taking thought." ~Joel

John 14:26,27
26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my
name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance,
whatsoever I have said unto you.
27 Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth,
give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

Matt 6:31-34 (to .)
31 Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we
drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?
32 (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father
knoweth that ye have need of all these things.
33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these
things shall be added unto you.
34 Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought
for the things of itself.
