The Five Abstinences....

If one can honor the Five Abstinences, then one can be at peace with the world, although, it does not follow that the world can be at peace with one..........they are abstinence from injuring others,,,,abstinence from lies,,,, abstinence from sensuality,,,, abstinence from theft,,,, and abstinence from greed.........

Jesus in Lassa. He meets Meng-ste who aids him in reading the ancient manuscripts. He goes to Ladak. Heals a child. Relates the parable of the king's

IN Lassa of Tibet there was a master's temple, rich in manuscripts of ancient lore. 2 The Indian sage had read these manuscripts, and he revealed to Jesus many of the secret lessons they contained; but Jesus wished to read them for himself. 3 Now, Meng-ste, greatest sage of all the farther East, was in this temple of Tibet. 4 The path across Emodus heights was difficult; but Jesus started on his way, and Vidyapati sent with him a trusted guide. 5 And Vidyapati sent a message to Meng-ste, in which he told about the Hebrew sage, and spoke for him a welcome by the temple priests. 6 Now, after many days, and perils great, the guide and Jesus reached the Lassa temple in Tibet. 7 And Meng-ste opened wide the temple doors, and all the priests and masters gave a welcome to the Hebrew sage. 8 And Jesus had access to all the sacred manuscripts, and, with the help of Meng- ste, read them all. 9 And Meng-ste often talked with Jesus of the coming age, and of the sacred service best adapted to the people of the age. 10 In Lassa Jesus did not teach. When he finished all his studies in the temple schools he journeyed toward the West. In many villages he tarried for a time and taught. 11 At last he reached the pass, and in the Ladak city, Leh, he was received with favour by the monks, the merchants, and the men of low estate. 12 And in the monastery he abode, and taught; and then he sought the common people in the marts of trade; and there he taught. 13 Not far away a woman lived, whose infant son was sick nigh unto death. The doctors had declared, There is no hope; the child must die. 14 The woman heard that Jesus was a teacher sent from God, and she believed that he had power to heal her son. 15 And so she clasped the dying infant in her arms and ran with haste and asked to see the man of God. 16 When Jesus saw her faith he lifted up his eyes to heaven and said, 17 My Father-God, let power divine o'ershadow me, and let the Holy Breath fill full this child that it may live. 18 And in the presence of the multitude he laid his hand upon the child and said, 19 Good woman you are blest; your faith has saved your son. And then the child was well. 20 The people were astonished and they said, This surely is the Holy One made flesh, for man alone cannot a fever thus and save a child from death. 21 Then many of the people brought their sick, and Jesus spoke the Word, and they were healed. 22 Among the Ladaks Jesus tarried many days; he taught them how to heal; how sins are blotted out, and how to make on earth a heaven of joy. 23 The people loved him for his words and works, and when he must depart they grieved as children grieve when mother goes away. 24 And on the morning when he started on his way the multitudes were there to press his hand. 25 To them he spoke a parable; he said, A certain king so loved the people of his land that he sent forth his only son with precious gifts for all. 26 The son went everywhere and scattered forth the gifts with lavish hand. 27 But there were priests who ministered at shrines of foreign gods, who were not pleased because the king did not through them bestow the gifts. 28 And so they sought to cause the people all to hate the son. They said, These gifts are not of any worth; they are but counterfeits. 29 And so the people threw the precious gems, and gold and silver in the streets. They caught the son and beat him, spit upon him, drove him from their midst. 30 The son resented not their insults and their cruelties; but thus he prayed, My Father-God, forgive these creatures of thy hand; they are but slaves; they know not what they do. 31 And while they yet were beating him he gave them food, and blest them with a boundless love. 32 In certain cities was the son received with joy, and he would gladly have remained to bless the homes; but he could tarry not, for he must carry gifts to every one in all the king's domain. 33 And Jesus said, My Father-God is king of all mankind, and he has sent me forth with all the bounties of his matchless love and boundless wealth. 34 To all the people of all lands, lo, I must bear these gifts--this water and this bread of life. 35 I go my way, but we will meet again; for in my Fatherland is room for all; I will prepare a place for you. 36 And Jesus raised his hand in silent benediction; then he went his way.

Ajainin, a priest from Lahore, comes to Benares to see Jesus, and abides in the temple. Jesus refuses an invitation to visit the temple. Ajainin visit

AMONG Benares' temple priests was one, a guest, Ajainan, from Lahore. 2 By merchantmen Ajainin heard about the Jewish boy, about his words of wisdom, and he girt himself and journeyed from Lahore that he might see the boy, and hear him speak. 3 The Brahmic priests did not accept the truth that Jesus brought, and they were angered much by what he said at the Udraka feast. 4 But they had never seen the boy, and they desired much to hear him speak, and they invited him to be a temple guest. 5 But Jesus said to them, The light is most abundant, and it shines for all; if you would see the light come to the light. 6 If you would hear the message that the Holy One has given me to give to men, come unto me. 7 Now, when the priests were told what Jesus said they were enraged. 8 Ajainin did not share their wrath, and he sent forth another messenger with costly gifts to Jesus at the farmer's home; he sent this message with the gifts: 9 I pray you master, listen to my words; The Brahmic law forbids that any priest shall go into the home of any one of low estate; but you can come to us; 10 And I am sure these priests will gladly hear you speak. I pray that you will come and dine with us this day. 11 And Jesus said, The Holy One regards all men alike; the dwelling of my host is good enough for any council of the sons of men. 12 If pride of cast keeps you away, you are not worthy of the light. My Father-God does not regard the laws of man. 13 Your presents I return; you cannot buy the knowledge of the Lord with gold, or precious gifts. 14 These words of Jesus angered more and more the priests, and they began to plot and plan how they might drive him from the land. 15 Ajainin did not join with them in plot and plan; he left the temple in the night, and sought the home where Jesus dwelt. 16 And Jesus said, There is no night where shines the sun; I have no secret messages to give; in light all secrets are revealed. 17 Ajainin said, I came from far-away Lahore, that I might learn about this ancient wisdom, and this kingdom of the Holy One of which you speak. 18 Where is the kingdom? where the king? Who are the subjects? what its laws? 19 And Jesus said, This kingdom is not far away, but man with mortal eyes can see it not; it is within the heart. 20 You need not seek the king in earth, or sea, or sky; he is not there, and yet is everywhere. He is the Christ of God; is universal love. 21 The gate of this dominion is not high, and he who enters it must fall down on his knees. It is not wide, and none can carry carnal bundles through. 22 The lower self must be transmuted into spirit-self; the body must be washed in living streams of purity. 23 Ajainin asked, Can I become a subject of this king? 24 And Jesus said, You are yourself a king, and you may enter through the gate and be a subject of the King of kings. 25 But you must lay aside your priestly robes; must cease to serve the Holy One for gold; must give your life, and all you have, in willing service to the sons of men. 26 And Jesus said no more; Ajainin went his way; and while he could not comprehend the truth that Jesus spoke, he saw what he had never seen before. 27 The realm of faith he never had explored; but in his heart the seeds of faith and universal brotherhood had found good soil. 28 And as he journeyed to his home he seemed to sleep, to pass through darkest night, and when he woke the Sun of Righteousness had arisen; he had found the king. 29 Now, in Benares Jesus tarried many days and taught.

Masonic Mysticism....

It has already been shown that the structure and appointments of the Lodge are symbolic ; that the Lodge is a representation both of the Universe and of man himself as a Microcosm or the Universe in miniature ; that it is an image of his own complex constitution, his heavens and his earth (his spirituality and materiality) and all that therein is .By contemplating that image, therefore, the Mason learns to visualize himself ; he is given a first lesson in that self-knowledge in the full attainment of which is promised the understanding of all things. "Know thyself," we have said, was written over the portals of the ancient temples of Initiation, self-knowledge being the aim of their intention and the goal of their purpose. Masonry perpetuates this maxim by recommending self-knowledge as "the most interesting of all human studies." It is the tersest, wisest of instructions, yet little heeded nowadays, and it is incapable of fulfillment unless undertaken in accordance with the ancient science and with a concentration of one's whole energies upon the task .It involves the deepest introspection into oneself and perfect discrimination between what is real and permanent, and what is unreal and evanescent in ourselves . As aspirants to the Mysteries could not learn the secrets of the Temple without entering it, learning its lessons, undergoing its disciplines, and receiving its graduated initiations, so no one can attain self-knowledge save by entering into himself, distinguishing the false from the true, the unreal from the real, the base metal from the fine gold, sublimating the former into the latter, and ignoring what is negligible or superfluous . The very word Initiation primarily derives from the Latin in ire, to go within ; and thence, after learning the lessons of self-analysis, to make a new beginning (initium) by reconstructing one's knowledge of life and manner of living. The 43rd Psalm restates the same instruction : Introibo ad altare Dei, " I will go in to the divine altar ." Similarly, the Masonic Initiation contemplates a going within oneself, until one reaches the altar or centre, the Divine Principle or ultimate hidden basis of our being.To know the anatomy and physiology of the mortal body is not self-knowledge . The physical fabric of man is a perishing self, mere dust and shadow, projected from vitalizing forces within it, and without permanence or reality .To understand the nature and mechanism of the mind, emotions and desires, is useful and necessary, but is not self-knowledge, for they, too, are transient and, therefore, unreal aspects of the deeper real self. The personality we present to the world is not our real self. It is but a mask, a distorting veil, behind which the true self abides hiddenly and often unknown to our unreal surface self, unless and until it be brought forward into consciousness, displacing and overriding the notions and tendencies of the natural, but benighted, superficial self. Until then its "light shineth in darkness and the darkness comprehendeth it not ." To bring it forward out of its veils of darkness, to "comprehend" and establish it permanently in our awareness is, and has ever been, the purpose of all Initiation . But this cannot be achieved until the outer bodily and mental vestures have been purified and a voluntary dying or effacement of everything in us alien to, or conflicting with, the real self has been suffered ; all which is implied by the teaching of our three Degrees respectively.True self-knowledge is unobstructed conscious union of the human spirit with God and the realization of their identity . In that identic union the unreal, superficial selves have become obliterated . The sense of personality is lost, merged in the Impersonal and Universal. The little Ego is assumed into the great All, and knows as It knows . Man realizes his own inherent ultimate Divinity, and thenceforth lives and acts no longer as a separate individual, with an independent will, but in integration with the Divine Life and Will, whose instrument he becomes, whose purposes he thenceforth serves . This is "the great day of atonement," when the limited personal consciousness becomes identified or made at one with one's own divine, omniscient, vital and immortal Principle, which each must realize as the high priest of his personal temple and after many washings and purifyings against the contrary tendencies of his former unregenerate nature . This was the secret supreme attainment hinted at in the cryptic maxim "Know thyself !." Each of us may judge for himself whether he has yet reached it .To find our own Centre, our real self, involves, therefore, a turning inwards of our previously externalized faculties of sense and thought, and an introspective penetration of the outlying circumferential elements of our nature until the Centre" is found. This task is figured by our ceremonial perambulations and by the path of the winding staircase leading from the ante-rooms and forecourts of our nature to the Centre, up which the aspirant must ascend, asking, seeking, knocking, all the way ; being subjected from time to time to tests of his progress and receiving, without scruple or diffidence, such wages of good fortune or adversity as unseen Providences may know to be his due .The inmost sanctuary he will find closely guarded . Nothing unclean can enter or approach that holy place. Hence in the biblical description of the symbolic Temple one finds that, in the forecourt, stood the great laver of water for the cleansing of pollutions, and the altar of fire for the sacrificial burning up of one's impurities. The sword of the G., directed to those unqualified to enter the Lodge, is the Masonic way of inculcating that peril exists to those who are not properly prepared to approach the Centre or who would rush in where angels fear to tread ; it corresponds with the sword of the Cherubim in Genesis, which turned every way to keep the way to the Tree of Life from the approaches of the unfit.Mental as well as physical purity is indispensable to real Initiation, but is far more difficult of the two to acquire . Modern psychology discloses not only how fractional a part of our entire mentality functions above the threshold of our normal awareness, but also what knots and twists, what mental lumber, what latent horrors and accumulations of inner foulness, lie stored in the sub-consciousness of even those living ordinarily clean lives . They are the deposits of the mind's past activities ; forgotten often by the conscious mind itself, yet automatically registered upon our impalpable mind-stuff by the recording pencil (mentioned among the Third Degree working-tools) which at every moment of our lives posts up entries of our thoughts, words, and actions. For at the centre of ourselves is the all observant Eye; so that we ourselves constitute our own Judgment Book, wherein each of us unwittingly inscribes his own history and formulates his own destiny, and its pages we have each to read ourselves .With these mental deposits and consolidations those skilled in Initiation science are well familiar. The modern psychologist calls them "complexes ." In the old treatises on the subject they are termed foul ethers, congelations of impure mental matter . They are the "base metals" of Masonry. Each of us has been an artificer of those metals and worked them into all manners of grotesque designs in his mental nature, and hence the conferment upon the candidate, at a certain stage, of a name attributed to the first of such artificers and signifying him to be still incompletely purged of worldly possessions of this kind. These "base metals" require to be discharged from the system by a long process of corrective purifying thought and aspiration and to be transmuted into gold, or pure mind-stuff, before real Initiation is possible. No inward fog must intervene between the outer and innermost organs of consciousness when the time comes for these to be unified. The Light of Truth cannot penetrate a mind crammed with pernicious thought and with opinions to which it clings tenaciously . It must empty itself of all pre-acquired knowledge and prejudices, and then rise on the wings of its own genius into the realm of independent Thought and there learn Truth at first hand by directly beholding it.The incident of attaining Light and self-knowledge is dramatically emphasized in Masonic ceremonial . It is represented by that important moment in the ritual of the Third Degree when darkness suddenly gives way to bewildering light, in which light the candidate gazes back for the first" time upon the remains of his own past and beholds the emblems of his own mortality. He has now (at least in ceremony) surmounted the great transitional crisis involved in becoming raised from a natural to a higher order of humanity. He perceives his temporal organism to have been the "tomb of transformation," in which the great change has been wrought . He has risen from that tomb, and for him the old grave of the natural body has lost its sting, and that spiritual unconsciousness, which is termed "death," has been swallowed up in the victory won at last by his higher eternal principle over his lower temporal one. The mystical sprig of acacia has bloomed at the head of his grave, by the efflorescence of the Vital and Immortal Principle in his purified mind and neural system .Thus is portrayed for us, in Masonic ceremony, the moment of attainment of knowledge of one's true self. The incident, let it be emphasized, does not involve the physical death of the body and its faculties, for to "the companions of his former toils" the, purified mind will thereafter be reunited . But thenceforth they will be his docile, plastic, obedient servants, and no longer his master. He will continue to live in the world for the remainder of his appointed span, no longer for his own sake, but for the uplifting and advancement of his fellowmen to his own high degree. His expansion of consciousness and wisdom will become part of his equipment for practical work in the world. His own spiritual evolution is complete, so far as the educative experience of this world can take it ; he lives now to help on that of humanity.A great and good Brother, reviewing his long connection with Masonic sanctuaries more than a century ago, wrote thus about Initiation :"The only initiation which I preach and seek with all theardour of my soul is that by which we may enter intothe heart of God and make God's heart enter into us,there to form an indissoluble marriage which willmake us the friend, brother and spouse of our DivineRedeemer." This attainment is the self-knowledgepointed to by the Craft teaching, and to which thatteaching seeks to guide the reflections of everyLouis Claude de Saint Martin ; Theosophic Correspondence, with Baron Kirchberger ; a work of great value and disclosing the nature of Masonic work in French Lodges prior to the Revolution of 1789 .Masonic Initiation has no other end than this conscious union between the individual soul and the Universal Divine Spirit .This union is symbolized by the familiar conjunction of the square and the compasses. The square is the emblem of the soul ; the compasses of the Spirit which indwells in that soul. At first the Mason sees the points of the compasses concealed behind the square, and, as he progresses, their points emerge from that concealment until both become superimposed upon the square. Thus is indicated the progressive subordination of the soul and the corresponding coming forward of the ultimate Spirit into personal consciousness, so that the Mason can " work with both those points," thus becoming an efficient builder in the spirit and rendering the circle of his own being complete by attaining conscious alliance with his ultimate and only true self................................W.L. Deep Meditation....

Many years ago, while I was in a state of deep meditation, I found myself in a place of complete white light and surrounded and filled with the total energy of Love....I was thinking that I never wanted to leave this place, when a Voice asked me if I wanted to stay or did I wish to return to the body.....I thought that if I stayed in this beautiful place then the soul would be gone from the body and the body would be found dead..this bothered me because I knew that my friends and relatives would feel great pain at my death,,so I told the Voice that I wanted to return to the body...I then immediately found myself in my body, fully alert in my room...............I often wonder if I had made the right decision.....

Meditation....

The discipline of looking inwardly is Meditation. What we understand we do naturally. What we do not understand we force ourselves to do. Students so often tell the teacher how hard they tried. The very effort meant failure, for meditation is always effortless. Tension, exertion or force result in failure.
An excellent way to still the mind is as follows: imagine yourself on a mountain top, looking into a lake. In the placid surface you see the sky, the stars, the moon and those things above the earth. If the surface of the lake is disturbed, the things seen are blurred and indistinct; thus it is with you. You are not “still”--not at peace--and the answer to prayer comes only to the man who dwells with all tranquility on the joy of already having received that for which he prayed.
Meditation is the internalizing of consciousness. It is the pilgrimage within. If an eight year old child can operate the Law successfully, we can also operate he Law successfully. We first must become as the little child. Half an hour a day spent in meditation upon your ideals, goals and ambitions will make you a different person. In a few month’s time the gentle, silent acknowledgment comes that God is within you, that the spirit of Almighty God is now moving in your behalf and that which you long to be, to possess or do is already a fact of consciousness. Man actualizes this state by feeling the thrill of accomplishment; when he has succeeded, he will no longer be worried, anxious or apprehensive.
Moreover, he will not ask anyone for advice, because he will be under compulsion to do that which is right. His subjective mind compels him to take all the necessary steps to the completion of his goal or objective. After prayer, if a man is still doubtful and begins to argue with himself as to which course to pursue, it means that he has not fixed the desired state in consciousness; then let him go back again and dwell in the reality of it.
“Verily I say unto you, Among them that are born of woman there hath not risen a greater than John the Baptist: notwithstanding he that is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he.” (Matt. 11:11). This means that any man who prays successfully and touches Reality by getting into the proper mood or feeling is greater than the wisest man. Most of us live life looking outwardly. The wise learn to look inwardly. The disciplines of looking “inwardly” are termed together, “Meditation.”
Detachment is the key to meditation. That is, we must sever ourselves completely from all worldly beliefs and opinions, and focus silently upon our ideal state. It is the effortless-effort which causes us to flow to-wards that which we realize without conflict. Detachment does not mean that we give up what few earthly possessions we may have. It means that we must give up possessiveness in ourselves, or release the attachments that peculiarly limit us to a human viewpoint in all matters.
“Be still and KNOW.” Stillness is not only keeping quiet; it means that the causes within the Self, by which the inward life is rendered discordant, have been removed. It indicates that there must be no inner dissonance, but rather when man goes within himself, he must find perfect and abiding peace. Knowing that God is within himself makes man live in a world that is ever peaceful. The lack of it makes him live in a series of conditions which grieve him to the end. He fusses about things which, if he saw them differently, would not cause one moment of unhappiness.
Everyday of our life we should meditate on beauty, love and peace. We should feel that these qualities are being resurrected in us. As we meditate daily on this inner beauty, let us feel that we are Jesus the Christ, the illumined man. Let us actually conjure the mood that would be ours were we actually doing his works and healing the blind, the halt and the lame. As we walk the earth, we must sustain this mood or conviction that we are Jesus and those qualities, which he portrayed, will be resurrected within us. They were always within us! This state of consciousness is not born of woman. Jesus is born out of the imagination of man and nowhere else. It is the second birth or spiritual awakening of man. The birth of Jesus the Christ truly takes place in man as he practices the disciplines and meditates on the ideal state.
By moving inward, the mystic finally finds the Real. As he goes inward he realizes first that this thing called the body is very unreal, and this earth upon which we are seated becomes unreal. The external life becomes the dream; the internal life awakens and moves further and further inward. Finally it seems to merge, and suddenly the meditating Self perceives that, by going inward, it has found the Universe. The suns, moon, stars and planets are within. For the first time he knows that planets are thoughts; that suns and moons are thoughts; and also he apprehends that his own consciousness is the realization which sustains them all. Temporarily in space are moving the dreams of the Dreamer; worlds, suns, moons and stars are the thoughts of the Thinker. His eyes are closed; He is meditating, and we are His meditation. It is CONSCIOUSNESS meditating on the mysteries of Itself!
This inward journey ultimately leads man to the Real. It leads man away from the sense of the small “I” to the realization of the eternal Self. The mystic’s mind, through meditation, finds the peace, the strength and fortitude for further steps. The practice of the discipline of meditation bestows beauty, love, peace, grace and dignity upon every impulse, every attitude and every act.
In conclusion, let us meditate on these lines, written by the finger of God, the Ancient of Days, which have come to us, down through the ages--ever the Ageless Wisdom:
“Of all existence I am the source, the continuation and the end. I am the germ, I am the growth, I am the decay. All things and creatures I send forth. I suppose them while they yet stand without, and when the dream of separation ends, I cause their return unto myself. I am the Life, the Wheel of the Law, and the Way that leadeth to the Beyond. THERE IS NONE ELSE.”

Foolish Activities are Abolished...

While following the Mystic Path, many activities that we were once fond of , are now seen as useless...What new activities will capture our fondness?...........The Mystic Lavater said;" That which causes us to think is dear to us, and everything which gives even a small impulse to our faculties is agreeable"..............

Jesus believed in Reincarnation...

In the story of the "Blind Man", in John 9:1-2, it states, As he went along, he saw a man blind from birth. His disciples asked Him, " Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind?"..............The disciples wanted to know the reason for the man's blindness. They offered two possibilities to Jesus. Either the man was blind because of the sins of his parents, or he was blind because he was reaping the fruit of his own sins (Karma). If our souls do not exist prior to this birth and if the man was born blind, then when or where could he have committed the sins that caused his blindness?.. His soul would have existed prior to that birth, and he would have engaged in a corporeal setting with other people to commit sins against or with.. In other words, the blind man had a previous life.. This indicates that the pre-existence of the soul was a prevalent idea among the disciples, otherwise, how could they have asked such an unusual question?.. Neither does Jesus ask then where they get this idea.. He does not marvel that they have presented him with such a foolish concept.. Where did they get this idea? As we have seen in the "blind man" scripture and other scriptures, the concept of reincarnation was understood by Jesus and the disciples. They employed the concept in these discussions in a matter-of-fact way.....

The Conquest of Illusion...

When we have seen the vision of Reality, our world is changed, utterly and almost beyond recognition, and yet nothing has changed in things as they are, it is but that we have gained a new vision...It is the new vision, which is born when man is freed from the tyranny of illusion, that the whole world is changed and appears radiant with love and beauty, apparently utterly changed, though the change really is in man himself alone....

Emotional Success...

The entire secret of success with your emotions is the Mystic Truth that ," You feel good not because the world is right, but your world is right because you feel good".... You have to start with the powerful principle of the Mystic Path which is self-awareness.... We must become acquainted with our emotional household, we must see our feelings as they actually are, not as we assume they are..This breaks their hypnotic and damaging hold on us.. Don't hesitate to challenge any negative feelings you discover within yourself.. That is a giant step toward their dismissal... Grasp this basic fact about negative emotions,, All arise from a false sense of identity.. We think we are the false self, but we are not.. Every painful feeling--- sadness, envy, guilt, insecurity, is sour fruit of the false self...We can destroy the sour fruit by chopping down the tree at its trunk..Hostility is simply an aggressive expression of despair and heartache.. When the heartache goes, so does hostility...We destroy painful emotions by becoming fully conscious of them..

What is the difference between Happiness and shallow pleasures ?

The Mystic Chamfort said;" Pleasure can be supported by illusion, while happiness rests upon Truth"........

Three magian priests honour Jesus. Herod is alarmed. Calls a council of the Jews. Is told that prophets had foretold the coming of a king.

And then they said, While yet beyond the Euphates we saw his star arise, and we have come to honour him. 8 And Herod blanched with fear. He thought, perhaps, the priests were plotting to restore the kingdom of the Jews, and so he said within himself, I will know more about this child that has been born a king. 9 And so he told the magian priests to tarry in the city for a while and he would tell them all about the king. 10 He called in council all the Jewish masters of the law and asked, What have the Jewish prophets said concerning such a one? 11 The Jewish masters answered him and said, The prophets long ago foretold that one would come to rule the tribes of Israel; that this Messiah would be born in Bethlehem. 12 They said, The prophet Micah wrote, O Bethlehem Judea, a little place among the Judean hills, yet out of you will one come forth to rule my people, Israel; yea, one who lived in olden times, in very ancient days. 13 Then Herod called the magian priests again and told them what the masters of the Jewish law had said; and then he sent them on the way to Bethlehem. 14 He said, Go search, and if you find the child that has been born a king, return and tell me all, that I may go and honour him. 15 The magians went their way and found the child with Mary in the shepherd's home. 16 They honoured him; bestowed upon him precious gifts and gave him gold, gum- thus and myrrh. 17 These magian priests could read the hearts of men; they read the wickedness of Herod's heart, and knew that he had sworn to kill the new born king. 18 And so they told the secret to the parents of the child, and bid them flee beyond the reach of harm. 19 And then the priests went on their homeward way; they went not through Jerusalem. 20 And Joseph took the infant Jesus and his mother in the night and fled to Egypt land, and with Elihu and Salome in ancient Zoan they abode.

What is the Piscean Age ?

This question requires further consideration. The Piscean Age is identical with the Christian Dispensation. The word Pisces means fish. The sign is known as a water sign, and the Piscean Age has been distinctly the age of the fish and its element, water. In the establishment of their great institutions John the Harbinger and Jesus both introduced the rite of water baptism, which has been used in some form in all the so-called Christian Churches and cults, even to the present time. Water is the true symbol of purification. Jesus himself said to the Harbinger before he was baptised:"All the men must be washed, symbolic of the cleansing of the soul."(Aquarian Gospel 64: 7.) Fish was a Christian Symbol. In the earlier centuries of the Christian Dispensation the fish was everywhere used as a symbol. In his remarkable book, "Christian Iconography," Didron says: "The fish, in the opinion of antiquarians generally, is the symbol of Jesus Christ. The fish is sculptured upon a number of Christian monuments, and more particularly upon the ancient sarcophagi. It is also upon medals, bearing the name of our Saviour and also upon engraved stones, cameos and intaglios. The fish is also to be remarked upon the amulets worn suspended from the necks by children, and upon ancient glasses and sculptured lamps. "Baptismal fonts are more particularly ornamented with the fish. The fish is constantly exhibited placed upon a dish in the middle of the table, at the Last Supper, among the loaves, knives and cups used at the banquet." In the writings of Tertullian we find this statement:"We arelittle fishes in Christ our great fish." The last two thousand years, comprising the Piscean Age, has certainly been one of water and the many uses of that element have been emphasised, and sea and lake and river navigation has been brought to a high degree of efficiency

Emptiness....

AUGUSTUS Caesar reigned and Herod Antipas was ruler of Jerusalem. 2 Three provinces comprised the land of Palistine: Judea, and Samaria, and Galilee. 3 Joachim was a master of the Jewish law, a man of wealth; he lived in Nazareth of Galilee; and Anna, of the tribe of Judah, was his wife. 4 To them was born a child, a goodly female child, and they were glad; and Mary was the name they gave the child. 5 Joachim made a feast in honour of the child; but he invited not the rich, the honoured and the great; he called the poor the halt and the lame, the blind, and to each one he gave a gift of raiment,food or other needful thing. 6 He said, The Lord has given me this wealth; I am his steward by his grace, and if I give not to his children when in need, then he will make this wealth a curse. 7 Now, when the child was three years old her parents took her to Jerusalem, and in the temple she received the blessings of the priests. 8 The high priest was a prophet and a seer, and when he saw the child he said, 9 Behold, this child will be the mother of an honoured prophet and a master of the law; she shall abide within this holy temple of the Lord. 10 And Mary did abide within the temple of the Lord; and Hillel, chief of the Sanhedrim, taught her all the precepts of Jews, and she delighted in the law of God. 11 When Mary reached the age of womanhood she was betrothed to Joseph, son of Jacob, and a carpenter of Nazareth. 12 And Joseph was an upright man, and a devoted Essene.

The Akashic Records....

One who meditates regularly, over time, learns to release the conscious mind and to go deeper and deeper within to subconscious mind. There he begins to be able to perceive this Universal Knowledge of Mind and is capable of receiving the Wisdom of the Ages. Instead of being limited in their information and experience to only what is stored in their brain he or she now has an expanded consciousness that is capable of receiving the accumulated knowledge of millions of people over thousands and tens of thousands of years. The Akashic Records are located between the fourth and fifth levels of Mind the midpoint of the Subconscious Mind. It is the point where mental ideas that are in the process of manifestation begin to take on physical form. The Akashic Records and Universal Mind have also been referred to at various times and places as the Hall of Records, Hall of Knowledge, and by the phrase, "In my father's house are many mansions." Different people, in different times, in different ways, to different degrees are and have been able to access and go to the Akashic Records located in Subconscious Mind. This process is much more than astral projection, it is a melding of your subconscious mind with the Universal Mind..It is not complete unity with the Universal Mind, as you still consider yourself to be a separate entity from Universal Mind (God)....

What are the Akashic Records ?.............

Akasha is a Sanskrit word, and means "Primary substance," that out of which all things are formed. According to Aquarian philosophy, it is the first stage of the crystallisation of spirit. This philosophy recognises the fact that all primordial substance is spirit; that matter is spirit moving at a lower rate of vibration, becoming, as one master expressed it, a coagulum. This Akashic, or primary substance, is of exquisite fineness and is so sensitive that the slightest vibration of an ether any place in the universe registers an indelible upon it. This primal substance is not relegated to any particular part of the universe, but is everywhere present. It is in very fact the "Universal Mind" of which our metaphysicians speak. When the mind of man is in exact accord with the Universal Mind, man enters into a conscious recognition of these Akashic impressions, and may collect them and translate them into any language of earth with which he is familiar. In the infinite One manifest we note the attributes of Force, Intelligence and Love, and a person may be in full accord with one of these attributes and not with the others. One may enter fully into the spirit of the God of Force and not be imbued with the spirit of Intelligence; or one may be wholly absorbed with the spirit of Divine Love and be far removed from both Intelligence and Force. Furthermore, a person may enter fully into the consciousness of Holy Breath, or Supreme Intelligence, and be not at all in rapport with either Love or Force. Knowledge is not gained through the spirit of either Force or Love. It is only from Universal Mind. which is Supreme Intelligence, called by Oriental scholars the Akashic Records, and by Hebrew masters, the Book of God's Remembrance, that knowledge of any kind can be obtained. Consciousness; we note three phases of it: 1 Consciousness of the omnipotence of God and man. 2 Christ consciousness, or consciousness of Divine Love. 3 Consciousness of the Holy Breath, or of Supreme Intelligence. We must bear in mind that one of these phases of consciousness does not necessarily imply either of the others. People are frequently found who are completely filled with the Love of God, are far advanced in the science of Christ consciousness, who are absolutely ignorant; have not the slightest conception of the laws of natural things or of spiritual things; are not in rapport with the great Teacher which is the Holy Spirit. The Akashic Records. The imperishable records of life, known as the Akashic Records, are wholly in the domain of Supreme Intelligence, or Universal Mind, and the Akashic record reader must be in such close touch with the Holy Spirit, or the Holy Breath, as the ancient masters call this spirit of Supreme Intelligence, that every vibration is instantly felt in every fibre of his being. Differentiation. Since all space is charged with vibrations of thoughts of all kinds, how may the Akashic Record reader differentiate and gather only the thoughts and life events of a particular person or group of persons? Every person has his own distinct vibration and when the reader fully understands the law of discrimination, his whole being is tuned for the reception of the one particular tone and rhythm, and it is impossible for any other tone or rhythm to make the slightest impression upon him. This principle is demonstrated in wireless telegraphy. It required many years for Levi to learn the Law of Differentiation, and to come in rapport with the tones and rhythms of Jesus of Nazareth, Enoch and Melchizedec and their co-labourers. But under the direction of the Spirit of Supreme Intelligence, he has attained unto this accomplishment, and now he instantly feels in all his being the slightest vibrations that come from any of these great centers and, of course, all of his transcriptions are true to the letter.

After the Union with God....

For one who has merged with God, the ego is dead...We may observe that person still making conversation and taking care of business..We may assume that they have an ego, but they do not.. The body and mind is still functioning but such a person does not feel that they are the body and mind.. Rather, they feel that they are simply the observer of these comings and goings like one sitting on the beach watching one wave after another roll into the sand, break and slide back into the infinite ocean of being.. Many of Jesus' most profound sayings can only be understood as a description of the absence of ego.... As Jesus said; " If someone strikes you on one cheek, turn to him the other also. If someone takes your cloak, do not stop him from taking your tunic "... Buddah said;" Overcome anger by love, overcome evil by good"..............It is the ego that is offended and strikes back, and it is the ego that ignores the opportunity to help another..One who is without and ego will not have an "I" to be offended.. There will not be a "me"who experiences loss.....see Luke 6:28

What relationship existed between Jesus and the Christ .....

Orthodox Christian ecclesiastics tell us that Jesus of Nazareth and the Christ were one; that the true name of this remarkable person was Jesus Christ. They tell us that this man of Galilee was the very eternal God clothed in flesh of man that men might see his glory. Of course this doctrine is wholly at variance with the teachings of Jesus himself and of his apostles. The Aquarian Masters in council have formulated an answer to this question that so well covers all the information required that we give it in full: "Jesus was an ideal Jew, born in Bethlehem of Judea. His mother a beautiful Jewish girl named Mary. As a child Jesus differed but little from other children only that in past lives he had overcome carnal propensites to such an extent that he could be tempted like others and not yield. Paul was right when to the Hebrews he said: `He was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.'-- Hebrews 4: 15. "Jesus suffered as other men suffer, and was made perfect through suffering; for this is the only way to perfection. His life was an example of attainment by the way of crosses and cruel treatment. Paul was right again when he said: `It became him, for whom are all things and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons into glory to make the captain of their salvation perfect through suffering.'- -Hebrews 2: 10. "In many respects Jesus was a remarkable child, for by ages of strenuous preparation he was qualified to be an avatar, a saviour of the world, and from childhood he was endowed with superior wisdom and was conscious of the fact that he was competent to lead the race into the higher ways of spiritual living. But he was conscious also of the fact that he must attain the mastery by trials, buffetings, temptations and sufferings. And all his life was spent in attaining. After his death, burial and resurrection he appeared in materialised form before the Silent Brothers in the temple of Heliopolis, in Egypt, and said: "`My human life was wholly given to bring my will to tune with the deific will; when this was done my earth-tasks all were done. "`You know that all my life was one great drama for the sons of men; a pattern for the sons of men. I lived to show the possibilities of man. "`What I have done all men can do, and what I am all men shall be.'"--Aquarian Gospel 178: 43, 46. "Jesus was the name of the man and it was the only appropriate name for this kind of a man. The word means Saviour, and Jesus was in more senses than one a saviour. The word Christ means "the anointed one," and then it is an official title. It means, The Master of Love. When we say "Jesus the Christ" we refer to the man and to his office; just as we do when we say Edward, the King, or Lincoln, the president. Edward was not always King, and Lincoln was not always President, and Jesus was not always Christ. Jesus won his Christship by a strenuous life, and in the Aquarian Gospel, chapter 55, we have a record of the events of his christing, or receiving the degree Christ. Here is where he was coronated by the highest earth authorities as the Christ-King; properly speaking, `The Master of Love'; and after this was done he entered at once upon his Judean and Galilean ministry. "We recognise the facts that Jesus was man and that Christ was God, so that in very truth Jesus the Christ was the God-man of the ages." The Nazarene's Testimony. Jesus himself made the matter clear. Once when he was speaking to a congregation in Bethany the people called him King and he stood forth and said: "`I am not sent to sit upon a throne to rule as Caesar rules; and you may tell the ruler of the Jews that I am not a claimant for his throne. "`Men call me Christ, and God has recognised the name; but Christ is not a man. The Christ is universal Love, and Love is King. "`This Jesus is but man who has been fitted by temptations overcome, by trials multiform, to be the temple through which the Christ can manifest to men. "`Then hear, you men of Israel, hear! Look not upon the flesh; it is not king. Look to the Christ within who shall be formed in every one of you, as he is formed in me. "`When you have purified your hearts by faith, the king will enter in and you will see his face.'"--Aquarian Gospel 68: 10-14.

Christ.....

Before creation was the Christ walked with the Father God and Mother God in Akasha. "The Christ is son, the only son begotten by Almighty God, the God of Force and God omniscient, God of thought; and Christ is God, the God of Love. "Without the Christ there was no light. Through Christ all life was manifest; and so through him all things were done, and naught was done in forming worlds or peopling worlds without the Christ. "Christ is the Logos of Infinities and through the word alone are Thought and Force made manifest. "The Son is called the Christ, because the Son, the Love, universal Love, was set apart, ordained to be creator, Lord, preserver and redeemer of all things, of everything that is, or evermore will be. "Through Christ, the protoplast, the earth, the plant, the beast, the man, the angel and the cherubim took up their stations on their planes of life. "Through Christ they are preserved; and if they fall it is the Christ who lifts them up; and if they sell themselves to sin the Christ redeems. "Now Christ, the universal Love, pervades all spaces of infinity, and so there is no end to love. "From the greater heart of Love unnumbered spirits were sent forth to demostrate the height, the depth, the width, the boundlessness of Love. "To every world and star and moon and sun a master spirit of this Love divine was sent; and all were full anointed with the oil of helpfulness, and each became a Christ. "All glorious in his majesty is Christ, who spreads the pure white robe of Love o'er all the planes of earth--The Christ of earth, its heaven, its graves. "In course of time the protoplast, the earth, the plant, the beast, the man sold out their birthrights unto sin; but Christ was present to redeem. "Hid in the holiest place in all infinities is locked the scroll that bears the record of the purposes of God, the Triune God, and there we read: "Perfection is the ultimate of life. A seed is perfect in its embryotic life, but it is destined to unfold, to grow. "Into the soil of every plane these seeds, which were the Thoughts of God, were cast--The seeds of protoplast, of earth, of beast, of man, of angel and of cherubim, and they who sowed the seeds, through Christ, ordained that they should grow, and should return at last, by effort of unnumbered years, to the great granary of thought, and each to be a perfection of its kind. "And in the boundless blessed of Love the man was made the Lord of protoplast of earth, of plant, of beast; and Christ proclaimed: Man shall have full dominion over everything that is upon these planes of life; and it was so. "And he who gave the lordship unto man declared that he must rule by Love. "But men grew cruel and they lost their power to rule, and protoplast, and earth, and plant and beast became at enmity with man; he lost his heritage; but Christ was present to redeem. "But man had lost his consciousness of right; he could no longer comprehend the boundlessness of Love; he could see naught but self, and things of self; but Christ was there to seek the lost and save. "So that he might be close to man in all the ways of life, that man might comprehend the mighty spirit of the Love, the Christ of earth made manifest to human eyes and ears by taking his abode in some pure person, well prepared by many lives to be fit abiding place of Love. "Thus Christ made manifest Love's power to save; but men forget so soon, and so Christ must manifest again, and then again. "And ever since man took his place in form of flesh the Christ has been manifest in flesh at first of every age."

The Wisdom of Descartes...

The Mystic Descartes said;" My third maxim was to endeavor always to conquer myself rather than fortune, and change my desires rather than the order of the world....and thus render me contented"..........

Love........

The word Love is used constantly in human language for many meaningful and many less meaningful events....It is used as a word that expresses an attraction towards something or someone.....It is expressed in its highest form when we relinquesh our Ego in the process of feeling this emotion....Such as the Love for a family member or friend....Just as a person that feels love will sacrifice their own life to defend the life of their loved one....this same sacrifice of life is necessary to attain the complete blending of our love with the source of all love....But the life that we sacrifice is the very essense of who we think we are, and is called our self (ego)........As Jesus said;'" You must die to be born again".....so the love that is necessary to reach the state of complete freedom and happiness is the highest love, and is called Devotion......Devotion means to have your mind and thoughts concentrated on existing only in Love, which is God.................

Does it Matter where Jesus Traveled ?....

Jesus in Kashmir according to a Muslim Spiritual Master

Jesus in India is an English version of Masih Hindustan mein, an Urdu treatise written by the Holy Founder of the Ahmadiyya Movement in Islam, Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (1835 - 1908). The main thesis expounded in the treatise is Jesus' escape from an ignominious death on the Cross and his subsequent journey to India in quest of the lost tribes of Israel whom he had to gather into his fold as mentioned in the New Testament. Abundant evidence has been furnished from Christian as well as Muslim Scriptures, old medical books and books of history, including ancient Buddhistic records, to illustrate the theme. Starting upon his journey from Jerusalem and passing from thence through Nasibus and Iran, Jesus is shown to have reached Afghanistan, where he met the Jews who had settled there after their deliverance from the bondage of Nebuchadnezzar. From Afghanistan Jesus went to Kashmir, where some Israelite tribes had also settled. He made this place his home and here he died. His tomb has been traced and found in Khanyar Street, Srinagar. In the section dealing with the evidence adduced from ancient Buddhistic records, Hazrat Ahmad has resolved a question which, owing to its difficult nature, has for a long time confounded many a Western writer. These writers have been baffled by the striking resemblance that exists between Christian and Buddhistic teachings and between the life events of both Jesus and Buddha as revealed in their respective Scriptures. Some of these writers hold the view that Buddhistic teachings must somehow have reached Palestine and been assimilated by Jesus in his own sermons. But there is absolutely no historical proof to support this theory. A Russian traveller named Nicolas Notovitch stayed for quite some time with Lamas in Tibet and had their sacred books translated for him. He is of the opinion that Jesus must have come to Tibet before the crucifixion and gone back to Palestine after having imbibed Buddhistic teachings. This also is a mere statement unsupported by reliable historical evidence. Repudiating both these views, Hazrat Ahmad writes that Jesus came to India not before the event of the Cross but after it and that it was not he who borrowed Buddhistic teachings but the followers of Buddha who seem to have reproduced the entire picture of the Gospels in their books. According to Hazrat Ahmad Jesus also visited Tibet during his travels in India in search of the lost tribes of Israel. He preached his messages to Buddhistic monks, some of whom were converted Jews. The followers of Buddha were deeply impressed by his teachings and took him to be the manifestation of Buddha and their Promised Teacher. With faith in him as their Master, they mixed his teachings with their own records and ascribed it all to the Buddha. Ample evidence in support of this is furnished from ancient Buddhistic records. Masih Hindustan mein was written in 1899 and it marks the end of an era in which for centuries Muslims and Christians had believed in the ascension of Jesus to Heaven. It being the first book ever written on the subject with such a rational approach, the book produced a most profound impact. Its arguments were broadcast and in the past half-century it has achieved remarkable success in divesting Jesus of false appurtenances of divinity and in presenting him to the world merely as a divine prophet as he actually was. In Muslim circles the effect has been so marked that the Rector of the Al-Azhar University in Cairo issued a Fatwa (verdict) that according to the Holy Quran Jesus had died a natural death. Its influence on the Christian mind has also been greatly disturbing. As stated in the Introduction and also at the end of the book, Hazrat Ahmad intended to write a second part in which he would have given, besides some additional proofs of Jesus' journey to India, a comparative evaluation of the teachings of Islam and Christianity with some cogent arguments in proof of the truth of Islam as well as of his own claim to be the Promised Messiah. Though no other book among his writings bears this title, yet Hazrat Ahmad has discussed thoroughly all these issues with many more important ones concerning the truth of Islam, of his own claim and of the death of Jesus in quite a number of books which he wrote after the above-mentioned book. The present English translation was made by Qazi Abdul Hamid, formerly editor of a weekly, The Sunrise, Lahore, in which it appeared serially during 1938-39. It was first published in book form in 1944 by Nashr-o-Ishaat, Sadr Anjuman Ahmadiyya, Qadian. Besides others who have assisted us in any way in the production of this book, our thanks are due to Mr. Mauloud Ahmad Khan, a former Imam of the London Mosque, who went to great pains to gather relevant quotations from the original books which have been referred to by Hazrat Ahmad in support of his thesis. From SRI BHAVISHYA PURANA. Pratisarga parva, Chaturyuga Khanda Dvitiyadhyayah, 19th Chapter. (text 20 onwards). Ruling over the Aryans was a king called Salivahana, the grandson of Vikramaditya, who occupied the throne of his father. He defeated the Sakas who were very difficult to subdue, the Cinas, the people from Tittiri and Bahikaus who could assume any form at will. He also defeated the people from Rome and the descendants of Khuru, who were deceitful and wicked. He punished them severely and took their wealth. Salivahana thus established the boundaries dividing the separate countries of the Mlecchas and the Aryans. In this way Sindusthan came to to be known as the greatest country. That personality appointed the abode of the Mlecchas beyond the Sindhu river and to the west. ekadaa tu shakadhisho himatungari samaayayau hunadeshasya madhye vai giristhan purusam shubhano dadarsha balaram raajaa Once upon a time the subduer of the Sakas went towards Himatunga and in the middle of the Huna country (Hunadesh - the area near Manasa Sarovara or Kailash mountain in Western Tibet), the powerful king saw an auspicious man who was living on a mountain. The man's complexion was golden and his clothes were white. (Bhavishya Purana 19:22.) ko bharam iti tam praaha su hovacha mudanvitah iishaa purtagm maam viddhi kumaarigarbha sambhavam "The king asked, 'Who are you sir?' 'You should know that I am Isha Putra, the Son of God'. he replied blissfully, and 'am born of a virgin.' "(Bhavishya Purana 19:23.) mleccha dharmasya vaktaram satyavata paraayanam iti srutva nrpa praaha dharmah ko bhavato matah " 'I am the expounder of the religion of the Mlecchas and I strictly adhere to the Absolute Truth.' Hearing this the king enquired, 'What are religious principles according to you opinion?' "(Bhavishya Purana 19:24.) shruto vaaca maharaja prapte satyasya amkshaye nirmaaryaade mlechadesh mahiso 'ham samaagatah "Hearing this questions of Salivahara, Isha putra said, 'O king, when the destruction of the truth occurred, I, Masiha the prophet, came to this country of degraded people where there are no rules and regulations. Finding that fearful irreligious condition of the barbarians spreading from Mleccha-Desha, I have taken to prophethood'." The living entity is subject to good and bad contaminations. The mind should be purified by taking recourse of proper conduct and performance of japa. By chanting the holy names one attains the highest purity. Just as the immovable sun attracts, from all directions, the elements of all living beings, the Lord of the solar region, who is fixed and all-attractive, attracts the hearts of all living creatures. Thus by following rules, speaking truthful words, by mental harmony and by meditation, Oh descendant of Manu, one should worship that immovable Lord'." (Bhavishya Purana 19:27-30.) isha muurtirt-dradi praptaa nityashuddha sivamkari ishamasihah iti ca mama nama pratishthitam "Having placed the eternally pure and auspicious form of the Supreme Lord in my heart, O protector of the earth planet, I preached these principles through the Mlecchas' own faith and thus my name became 'isha-masiha' (Jesus the Messiah)." (Bhavishya Purana 19:31.) iti shrutra sa bhuupale natraa tam mlecchapujaam sthaapayaamaasa tam tutra mlecchasthaane hi daarune "After hearing these words and paying obeisances to that person who is worshipped by the wicked, the king humbly requested him to stay there in the dreadful land of Mlecchas." (Bhavishya Purana 19:32.) svaraajyam praaptavaan raajaa hayamedhan cikirat rajyam krtva sa sasthyabdam svarga lokamu paayayau "King Salivahara, after leaving his kingdom performed an asvamedha yajna and after ruling for sixty years, went to heaven. Now please hear what happened when the king went to svargaloka." (Bhavishya Purana 19:33.) Thus ends the second chapter entitled, "the age of Salivahara" of the story of Kali Yuga of the Caturyuga Khanda also called pratisarga-parva of the wonderful Bhavishya Maha Purana. The following Sanskrit verses are taken directly from the Srimad Bhagavatam of Srila Vyasadeva, the original spiritual master, to support that what we are saying is coming from authorised the word of God that Bhavishya Purana is an authorised book written by Srila Vyasadeva. brahmam padmam vaisnavam ca saivam laingam sa-garudam naradiyam bhagavatam agneyam skanda-samhnitam bhavisyam brahma-vaivartam markandeyam sa-vamanam varaham matsyam kaurmam ca brahmandakhyam iti tri-sat These verses taken from Maha Bhagavata Purana (Srimad Bhagavatam 12:7:23-24) list the eighteen major Puranas that were written by Srila Vyasadeva in His own words. Please note that on the fifth line Bhavishya is mentioned as one of these authorised works. As we know from reading Srimad Bhagavatam, Srila Vyasadeva was instructed by his Spiritual Master, Srila Narad Muni to compile Srimad Bhagavatam after Srila Vyasadeva had completed all of his other works, thus we find it included in the verses mentioned in the Bhagavatam. The Bhagavatam itself mentions that it was complied after the disappearance of Lord Sri Krsna to His own abode, (S.B.1:1:23. and S.B.1:3:43), just prior to the Kali Yuga which is estimated by Vaisnava scholars as being some five thousand years ago, (A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada. S.B 1.3.24 purport.) 3000 B.C. Even mundane western scholars and Indologists who try to deride the Vedic scriptures, and their conclusions agree that they preceded the appearance of Christ by several thousand years. We can safely say that these scriptures were all compiled and written before five thousand years ago by the literary incarnation of Godhead, Srila Vedavyasa. The above verses are also supported in the Varaha Purana, Siva Purana and Matsya Purana, so we can conclude that this incident found in Bhavishya Purana is definitely an authorised source of information

Jesus appears to the Eastern Sages after His Death.....

Jesus appears, fully materialised, to the eastern sages in the palace of Prince Ravanna in India. To the magian priests in Persia. The three wise men speak in praise of the personality of the Nazarene. 1. Ravanna, prince of India, gave a feast. His palace in Orissa was the place where men of thought from all the farther East were wont to meet. 2. Ravanna was the prince with whom child Jesus went to India many years ago. 3. The feast was made in honour of the wise men of the East. 4. Among the guests were Meng-ste, Vidyapati and Lamaas. 5. The wise men sat about the table talking of the needs of India and the world. 6. The door unto the banquet hall was in the east; a vacant chair was at the table to the east. 7. And as the wise men talked a stranger entered, unannounced, and raising up his hands in benediction said, All hail! 8. A halo rested on his head, and light, unlike the light of sun, filled all the room. 9. The wise men rose and bowed their heads and said, All hail! 10. and Jesus sat down in the vacant chair; and then the wise men knew it was the Hebrew prophet who had come. 11. And Jesus said, Behold, for I am risen from the dead. Look at my hands, my feet, my side. 12. The Roman soldiers pierced my hands and feet with nails; and then one pierced my heart. 13. They put me in a tomb, and then I wrestled with the conqueror of men. I conquered death, I stamped upon him and arose; 14. Brought immortality to light and painted on the walls of time a rainbow for the sons of men; and what I did all men shall do. 15. And when the silence ended Kaspar said, A master from the royal council of the Silent Brotherhood is here; let us give praise. 25. And all the priests and masters stood and said, All hail! What message from the royal council do you bring? 26. And Jesus said, My brothers of the Silent Brotherhood, peace, peace on earth; goodwill to men! 27. The problem of the ages has risen from the dead; has shown that human flesh can be transmuted into flesh divine. 28. Before the eyes of men this flesh in which I come to you was changed with speed of light from human flesh. And so I am the message that I bring to you. 29. To you I come, the first of all the race to be transmuted to the image of the AM. 30. What I have done, all men will do; and what I am, all men will be. 31. But Jesus said no more. In one short breath he told the story of his mission to the sons of men, and then he disappeared. 32. The magi said, Some time ago we read this promise, now fulfilled, upon the dial plate of heaven. 33. And then we saw this man who has just demonstrated unto us the power of man to rise from carnal flesh and blood to flesh of God, a babe in Bethlehem. 34. and after many years he came and sat with us in these same groves; 35. He told the story of his human life, of trials, sore temptations, buffetings and woes. 36. He pressed along the thorny way of life he had risen and over thrown the strongest foes of God and man; and he is now the only master of the human race whose flesh has been transmuted into flesh divine. 37. He is the God-man of to-day; but every one of earth overcome and be like him, a son of God.

If men hate you, regard it not,, and you can turn the hate of men to love and mercy and goodwill,, and mercy is as large as all the heavens....And there is good enough for all...With good destroy the bad,,with generous deeds make avarice ashamed,, with truth make straight the crooked lines that error draws, for error is but truth distorted, gone astray...And pain will follow him who speaks or acts with evil thoughts, as does the wheel,the foot of him who draws the cart...He is a greater man who conquers self than he who kills a thousand men in war...He is a noble man who is himself what he believes that other men should be...Return to him who does you wrong your purest love,, and he will cease from doing wrong,, for love will purify the heart of him who is beloved as truly as it purifies the heart of him who loves....................As you can see, Jesus also taught these exact lessons...........

The Missing Years of Jesus....

The stories of the missing years of Jesus were left out of the New Testament because they would show that Jesus went to Spiritual Masters in India, Persia, Egypt, Tibet and Greece to both learn and teach....If it was shown that he had to learn spiritual knowledge, then the title of God could not be placed upon Him....Once you have become a Mystic, then you can understand the path of knowledge that Jesus had to walk, just as we all have to walk.....then you can understand the esoteric knowledge that Jesus taught was the same that Gautama the Buddah, and Krishna taught....As they were all Avatars..........

Prince Ravanna of Orissa,India, brings Jesus to India....

Prince Ravanna sees Jesus in the temple and is captivated..Hillel tells him about the boy and Ravanna gives a feast in his honor..Ravanna becomes a patron of Jesus and takes him to India to study the Brahmic religion...Hillel said that we call this child the Day Star from on high, for he has come to bring to men a light, the light of life, to lighten up the way of men and to redeem his people, Israel....Ravanna brought Jesus to Orissa,India, and the Brahmic priests were glad to welcome home the prince, and with favor, they received the Jewish boy....And Jesus was accepted in the temple, Jagannath, and here learned the Vedas and the Manic Laws...The Brahmic masters wondered at the clear conceptions of the child, and often were amazed when he explained to them the meaning of the laws...........

Spiritual Thoughts for Healing of the Eyes...

Vision is spiritual, eternal, and indestructible...We do not create vision, Instead, we manifest or release it.. We see through the eye, not with it.. The retina of the eye is stimulated by light waves from objects in space; through the optic nerve, the impulses are carried to the brain.. When the inner light, or intelligence, meets the outer light in this manner, by a process of interpretation, we see.... Your eyes symbolize divine love and a delight in the ways of God. as well as a hunger and thirst for God's truth...Your right eye symbolizes right thought and right action...The left eye symbolizes God's love and wisdom...Think right and radiate good will to all, and you will focus perfectly......................see Luke 18:42-43

Can Anyone Become a Mystic ?...

Definately,, But please don't hold an imaginative picture of a mystic as some strange looking individual in a long robe... An authentic mystic is a sensible person who lives in the midst of a troubled world but is above its folly...A businessman at his desk or a homemaker at her stove can easily be a practicing mystic...The great mystics of history possessed various backgrounds and personalities...Lao-Tse was a librarian in charge of secret scrolls... Rene Descartes was a lawyer, army officer, author, musician, phychologist, philosopher, and a mathematical genius.. the Emperor of Rome, Marcus Aurelius, was caught between his love of the spiritual life and the demands of royality.. He wrote, "Look within, Within is your fountain of good".... Pythagoras, who lived about 550B.C. , used the principles of music to teach philosophic truths...Brother Lawrence was a cook in a monastery, though ignorant of of literary matters, he wrote a mystical classic called "Practicing the Presence of God"....Buddah was a prince who gladly gave up a kingdom in exchange for personal peace...A champion on the athletic field was named Plato....But they all agreed on the Mystical Path to achieve Freedom.............

Absolutism.....

From the absolute point of view, there is only God... There is nothing that exists outside of God.. From this absolute way of seeing, evil is an illustion and not real.. In our conversations, we speak of evil as though it were a real substantial entity,, but in fact,, it is an imagined reality having its existence only in our mind... Sufferers of schizophrenia hear voices and hallucinate, so it is difficult to convince these persons that the apparitions are in their own mind... In the same way evil is the hallucination of separateness...Can we say that the lake in the desert as a mirage is part of the desert?..In the same way, we cannot say that evil is part of God...It is only an appearance..................

EVIL.........

There are evil acts in the world because people have created them in their minds...With regard to human beings, evil is any act or thoughts that harms nature or others for the sole purpose of fulfilling a selfish end...Evil is the ego in action, in the same way that compassion is love in action..Suffering, on the other hand, is not necessarily evil..Suffering is necessary for this world of duality to exist...One cannot have pleasure without pain, good without bad, or hot without cold...The river of God's awareness flows between the banks of pleasure and pain...Suffering is also our greatest teacher.. From it we eventually learn to abandon the pleasure fields of the senses and turn towards God, who is the only lasting source of happiness............

False Sense of Responsibility...

The self-tranformation of the Mystic Path frees us from a false sense of responsibility by removing the ego from our activities....There is a certain aimlessness, a lack of concern, but it has nothing to do with common carelessness.. You realize that all that furious rushing around the deck does absolutely nothing to move the boat forward... You finally grasped the Cosmic Truth that the boat carries you; you don't carry the boat... You sense that your abandonment of control does not mean disaster after all, but , for the first time, an enjoyable voyage...Before, you thought the boat would stop if you ceased pretending you were the captain...Now you know better...There is a real Captain...................As the Buddhists say ;" Do not push the river ".....

.....HELL....

This place called Hell was created by the thoughts of souls,,,we have the power to create....If you believe in this place and if you believe that you will go to this place, then you will...this is the free will of creation and experience that you have been given...God does not want you to suffer in any manner,,,therefore, stop these thoughts of the negative and think of only the positive, which is God, and you will find yourself only in positive experiences........The place called Hell is really just different frequencies where souls of similar level of development exist...the deeper into this darkness is the further you are from God, or in other words, the more that you love your ego versus how much you love God ...The Hell of fire and torment , which was what I was writing about in my previous post was created by the thoughts of souls that fear eternal punishment...and is only an illusion....

The Power of Self-Change.........

A seeker came to his teacher to complain, "Master, I am unhappy with the people in my life..They are unfaithful, inconsiderate..I am not wanted or appreciated.. How can I change them?".....Replied the teacher, "Change yourself".................The walk down the Mystic Path is toward self-change..If we reminded ourselves of this a dozen times a day, it would not be too much... Mystical truths uplift your level of consciousness...When it happens, you know that it has happened.....One sure sign is that you feel less flattered by flattery and less blamed by blame... An enlightened individual is affected by neither praise nor accusation,, though he may get plenty of both from unawakened people...Another pleasant change is an entirely new feeling toward time..You feel no sense of hurry, yet you accomplish your daily tasks far more efficiently...You live in that wonderful moment mysticism calls NOW...........

The Wisdom of Diogenes....

Diogenes was a Mystic who said ;" You lose the very life you seek when you wallow in stupid luxuries..You don't need nine-tenths of the things you scramble for..Don't be afraid to have nothing..Don't hesitate to be a nobody..Happiness is not what you have, but who you are..You are already exactly who you need to be...See it!".....................................One day, when Alexander the Great visited Corinth, the masses flocked to hail him..Needing no hero to worship, Diogenes stayed home...Well, said Alexander, noting the absence of the famous teacher, "I suppose I must go to him", The great warrior found the contented philosopher warning himself in the sunlight..Alexander asked the relaxed man, "What can I do for you?".."Just one thing, please," replied Diogenes, "Stand aside, You are blocking my sunlight.".............

How do We find Truth ?....

The only way to settle this question is not by argument or discussion.. but by getting the direct experience of Divine Illumination...And that is a personal thing,,Each person must obtain it for themself...Then only will you find out what is really meant by the Kingdom of Heaven...This attainment is not quite so hard as it seems to be,, because you are not seeking something a hundred thousand miles distant,,, you are seeking something which is here,,right here inside yourself... You are not seeking something which is alien to you,, but rather your own inmost nature,, your essence..........

Is the Mystic Path Practical for Modern People ?...

Nothing else is practical...Just look around, you see heartache, defeat, quarreling, and illness of every sort..Is this practical ?...It is entirely possible for any man or woman to live above all these defeats...People also wonder how their attention to the inner life will affect their exterior affairs..They wrongly assume that their business, social, and domestic activities will somehow suffer...They will do the exact opposite..They take on a brightness you cannot imagine..A new inner life always reflects itself outwardly... You don't lose one value by adding another...The awakened man not only continues nicely with his exterior affairs but exerts a new command over them..Because he no longer uses them to feed ego-needs, he is totally free of worry.. His sense of psychological survival does not depend upon this or that happening..In finding himself, he discovers a magnificent truth that " He is not at the mercy of anything in this world"....

The Wisdon of Thomas a Kempis....

Thomas a Kempis was a Mystic that wrote; " The man of inner life is easily aware of himself, since he is never totally absorbed in outward affairs...Therefore, his exterior occupations and necessary activities do not distract him, and he adjusts himself to things as they come...The man, whose inner life is well-ordered, is not bothered by strange and troublesome ways of others..A man is blocked and distracted by such things only as he permits himself to be.......................As Jesus said;" you must be in the world, but not of it"....As a Mystic, you control your own thoughts for the first time in your life.....

If Jesus was a Mystic, then why not all Christians ?

Jesus taught all his Apostles how to become Mystics, but he only spoke in parables to the average human.....the deeper meaning of the parables can be understood only by Mystics, therefore He was able to teach to both the Enlightened and the Unenlightened.......The modern Christian religion does not teach the path of Mystical Study to the average person in their Church because most of the leaders in the Church are not Mystics,,,Many that seek power over others are still ruled by their own egos',,so they do not have the knowledge to teach Mysticism to others, as they have not learned this knowledge themselves and do not care to give up the ego that gives them false pleasure.....therefore, the spiritual seekers in that church are left in ignorance and constant pain during their lives in the material plane....they are not even taught that they can end their pain through the elimination of the Ego...they are taught that the best that they can achieve is Heaven, but never told that the real goal is to become "One with God", which is far higher than the Heaven that they have been taught of.

Other Christs in Other Times...

Paul tells us in Hebrews of another Christ named Melchizedek, who appeared in Genesis 14:18 to bless Abraham..Abraham was so impressed with Melchizedek that he gave him ten percent of his possessions based entirely on one brief encounter when Abraham was returning from rescuing his nephew, Lot...Melchizedek is mentioned again in Psalms 110:4....Melchizedek was not a Jew, but a pagan...He could not have been a Jew, because Paul says that he was a high priest outside of the tribe of Levi, and according to Jewish law, only a Levite could be a priest...In fact Levi, the father of that tribe, had not even been born...It would be another 1800 years before Moses would appear with the Ten Commandments.................Paul said that Jesus was designated by God to be a High Priest of the Order of Melchizedek.........see Hebrews 5:7-10

Self Perpetuating Bondage....

Throughout history and in all religions, very few of us have become aware of our own self-perpetuating bondage, and still fewer have perceived the need to change as the result of having gripped and shaken the iron bars of our own self-centered prison..Most of us are content to remain as we are, not realizing that the awful price is separation from God....Personal spiritual change is painfully difficult..Spiritual change leaves us naked and empty.. The thundering waves of radical non-duality revealed by the life and teachings of Jesus the Christ will come crashing down on our illusory sand castle of "I" and "mine" which, up to the point of transformation, will have stood basking in the artificial light of endless unfulfilled desires... If this change, this rebirth, this resurrection, this transformation has not utterly shattered our world and our conception of ourselves, then we are not ripe for the Kingdom...........

Spiritual Time........

Spiritual time, or rather, timelessness..connects with every area of life, for example, health..Thousands of patients on sick beds could get up and walk away by penetrating this secret..Psychosomatic illness of every variety springs from the pressure of living in the wrong time...Don't wander away from the safety zone of NOW..During your day, observe how your mind slips backward to yesterday and forward to tomorrow..Catch it..Pull it back...Pull it back to where it belongs,,in the here and now.....

Why are We unhappy with other People ?....

Whenever we have an unhappy experience with another person, we must not complain, "Why did he do this to me "? That is the first reaction almost everyone makes..However, it misses the mark entirely.. Instead, you must ask, "Why did I react painfully to what he did ?".... This reaction brings us back to our responsibility for abandoning ego-centered sensitivities... Then, anyone can do anything to you and there is no pain,, only a peaceful understanding......

The Propelled Heart.....

When a man becomes a little enlightened, he compares his experiences relating to the material creation, gathered in his wakeful state, with his experiences in dream, and understanding the latter to be merely ideas, begins to entertain doubts as to the substantial existence of the former...His heart then becomes propelled to learn the real nature of the universe and, struggling to clear his doubts, seeks for evidence to determine what is truth.....In this state, humans become anxious for real knowledge,,the need of helping one another, hence mutual love, the principal necessary for gaining salvation, appears in the heart..Motivated by the energetic tendency of this love, souls affectionately keep company with those who destroy troubles, clear doubts, and afford peace to them...and hence avoids whatever produces the contrary result..they also study scientifically the scriptures of Divine Personages..........................

Self Knowledge.....

Self-knowledge is really a simple thing..It is getting to see how we operate, That places us in control of our human machine..Insight into the two selves within a man clears up many confusions and contradictions..A mystic says that man is wicked..That is true..But he also proclaims the Kingdom of Heaven within, Also true..The True Self is everything good,,the flase self is all that is bad..A man's conflicts arise from the battle between the two..As we permit our essential nature to take rightful domination,,we win..It was our understanding that preceded our victory...As our false notions disappear, nothing can hurt us..We see that we were hurt because of the ego-hardened self which takes everything as personal hurts..But through self-insight, the hardness has melted, and with it, comes the quietness we always wanted....................

How to Stop Hurting Yourself....

Many people will not believe it when told how severely they hurt themselves by lack of self-understanding..They still wrongly think that harm originates from outside, rather than from its actual origin within....Take negative reactions..Who is painfully negative when rain ruins the picnic..the rain or the reaction?..Who gets hurt when someone breaks his promise to us..the broken promise or the person taking it with resentment ?.....It is as simple as this; We cannot cling to our negative emotions without paying the price..Can we be at peace at the same time that we feel frustrated?..No. Can we enjoy ourselves while harboring dejection ?..Impossible...It is one or the other....Suppose a human worked with this enlightening fact until they see it clearly..They would at once drop their preference for negativity..They would see how it robs them of the very happinness they want.........

Jesus teaching to the Greek Sages in Athens...

Jesus said;" the senses were ordained to bring into the mind mere pictures of the things that pass away,,they do not deal with real things,,they do not comprehend eternal law...But man has something in his soul, a something that will tear the veil apart, that he may see the world of real things..We call this something "Spirit Consciousness", it sleeps in every soul, and cannot be awakened till the Holy Breath becomes a welcome guest..This Holy Breath knocks at the door of every soul, but cannot enter in until the will of man throws wide the door..There is no power in intellect to turn the key,,philosophy and science both have toiled to get a glimpse behind the veil,,but they have failed..The secret spring that throws ajar the door of soul is touched by nothing else than purity in life, by prayer and holy thought..Return, O mystic stream of Grecian thought, and mingle your clear waters with the flood of Spirit-life,,and then the Spirit Consciousness will sleep no more, and man will know, and God will bless..........

Jesus teaching in Katak, India

Jesus said;" The Holy Breath cannot be seen with mortal eyes, nor can men see the Spirits of the Holy One..But in their image man was made, and he who looks into the face of man, looks at the image of the God who speaks within..And when man honors man, he honors God, and what man does for man, he does for God..And you must bear in mind that when man harms in thought or word or deed another man, he does a wrong to God..If you would serve the God who speaks within the heart, just serve your near of kin, and those that are no kin, the stranger at your gates, the foe who seeks to do you harm..Assist the poor, and help the weak, do harm to none, and covet not what is not yours..Then, with your tongue the Holy One will speak, and He will smile behind your tears, will light your countenance with joy, and fill your hearts with peace.......

Healing through Blind Faith and True Faith..

True faith is based on the knowledge of the way your conscious and subconscious minds function and on the combined harmonious functioning of these two levels of mind scientifically directed....Blind faith is healing without any scientific understanding whatsoever of the forces involved......In all instances,,regardless of the technique, process, incantation, or invocation offered to saints and spirits,, it is the subconscious mind that does the healing...Whatever you believe is operative instantly in your subconscious mind..........

The Gospel of Thomas,,verse 29

Jesus said;" If spirit came into being because of the body,, it is a wonder of wonders...Indeed, I am amazed at how this great wealth (the spirit) has made it home in this poverty (the body)."......................Jesus tells us that the body is not important as it is only the vehicle of the spirit on the material plane...therefore the idea that the body will be resurrected after death is foolish, as the spirit does not need a body in the non material planes.........

Religions and Spirituality....

Religions are road maps to the Self (I AM ) or God, which lies within us. Passing throught the wilderness of the ego, which lies hidden from most of us just below the surface of our conscious awareness, we encounter pitfalls and wrong turns..Religions are road maps through the subconscious, Arriving at the center, we merge with God and , like the prodigal son, reclaim our lost immortality..To put it another way, we realize that our true original nature is immortality, and we stop dreaming that we are separate egos that are trapped in a seemingly endless cycle of birth, death and rebirth...Religion and scripture are not the goal...God is the goal, and spirituality is the practice of walking the path to God...Spirituality has to do with experiencing God intimately and directly...Without this direct experience , there is no salvation, no getting to heaven, no being born again, no enlightenment, no nirvana, no liberation and no end to suffering.............................Ethan Walker
