There are forces in nature called Love and Hate. The force of Love causes elements to be attracted to each other and to be built up into some particular form or person, and the force of Hate causes the decomposition of things.

I had a deeply interesting conversation/group meditation concerning understanding Love and its opposite. We came to the conclusion that hate is not natural, but fear is the natural opposite of love.
I John 4:18 says: There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear. For fear has to do with punishment, and whoever fears has not been perfected in love.
When adjusting the model to see Love and Fear as polar opposites, it's interesting the way it begins to give you new options to view the world. I think that the base forces... repulsion and attraction... are simply that. Hate is learned. It is a knot that can be untied though.
If I've learned anything over the last several years it's this... question anyone using fear as a motivator.
Fear are the Thoughts of Loss as Death is the ultimate fear of Being...thomas
