Comment:

Formal education too often leads to the acceptance of dogma or that condition of the mind which obliterates any questioning of the dogma.

Dogma spelled backwards: am god.

Therefore, formal education generally fails to educate; fails to nurture the students' capacity to think for themselves.

This, of course, is an oversimplification;

yet, from another perspective, affirms the teaching of the Buddha.
