Salvation is for all, the atheist and the devotee, the wicked and
good, the ignorant and learned, the indifferent and earnest. It is
only the time of its realization that is far off or near at hand but
realization itself is certain. "Let no one of Thy boundless Grace
despair"--thus Abu Said, an eleventh-century Persian mystic of high
degree, holds out the prayerful hope to all men of their impending or
eventual liberation. The New Testament parallels the Bhagavad Gita's
promise of ultimate salvation for all, sinners and good alike. It
says: "God willeth that all men should be saved and come to the
knowledge of the truth."--1 Tim. 2:4.
