MIND HAS TO BE CLEANED EVERY DAY ,IS THE PURPOSE OF RAJA YOGA. It is a question of letting go of the addiction ,attachment ,and ignorance. To be with the mind which is matter, it's pain ,it's pleasure ,Birth ,and death ,the flux of change being aware all the time, you are the other the non-material encased in matter yet qualitatively different. Awareness of the nature of reality purification of the material encasement, which gets dirty every minute. so the self education in keeping pure by itself. it is matter.it has to be cleaned everyday. silence cleanses the mind. one soak it in the emptiness of silence and it comes out clean again. fresh for the ordeal of the day.
