The end of pain lies not in pleasure.

realize that you are beyond both pain and
pleasure,

aloof and unassailable, then the
pursuit of happiness ceases

and the resultant
sorrow too.

For pain aims at pleasure and
pleasure ends in pain,

relentlessly.
