Fear no longer...
Just see the person you imagine yourself to be as a part of the world you perceive within your mind,
and look at the mind from the outside, for you are not the mind.
After all, your only problem is the eager self-identification with whatever you perceive.
Give up this habit, remember that you are not what you perceive, use your power of alert aloofness.
See yourself in all that lives and your behavior will express your vision.
Once you realize that there is nothing in this world which you can call your own, you look at it from the outside, as you look at a play on the stage,
or a picture on the screen, admiring and enjoying, but really unmoved.
As long as you imagine yourself to be something tangible and solid, a thing among things, actually existing in time and space, short-lived and vulnerable,
naturally you will be anxious to survive and increase.
But when you know yourself as beyond space and time,
in contact with them only at the point of here and now,
otherwise all-pervading and all-containing, unapproachable, unassailable, invulnerable,
you will be afraid no longer.

Pure Intelligence...
The Absorbtion of Divine Consciousness into Pure Intelligence is really the
ending of the illusion that We exist as a separate entity or personality..
It is the ending of this Dream and yet the Dreamer (Pure Intelligence) still
continues to Dream..
Each Dream creates a manifestation or a manifestor of an illusory existence..
The Manifestor is Divine Consciousness, which many call God..
We exist as this Manifestor until We finally Realize that We are also a Dream
from Pure Intelligence..
There is only Pure Intelligence, All else is Dream..
The Energy of this Dreamer called Pure Intelligence is called Love..
Love is the state of non-personality or non-ego..
This is why most humans are always seeking Love..
As Love is Freedom from attachment to selfish personality or objects..
Love is the binding of Thoughts..
We are Thoughts..
We are Love...

" What is 1 "...
Sometimes in writing, a flow of words come through my mind and I just write them
down.
this is where the '1' came from.
I thought after reading what I just wrote that I should not include the '1' but,
I thought that I should remain faithful to the flow of thoughts, as there must
be a reason for this thought..
The resonation of the state of Nothingness occured while within the Light of
Divine Consciousness..
The ego was left behind but the Personality of Divine Consciousness remained..
The Question then entered my Being;
" Is this All" ?..
This was a strange question to enter Consciousness and caused me to think deeper
about Reality..
The answer that came to me was that, It was not the end of the path and that I
must surrender even this State of Bliss and be absorbed into the Complete Love
of Non-separation and Non-Personality.
Even if this Personality of mine was God..

'Time'...
Seconds, become friend or foe..
In positive mind, time is a friend..
In negative mind, time is pain..
Time continues to arrange our thoughts..
A cabinet of experiences, seen through eyes of desire..
The Illusion continues to unfold according to Time..
We push and shove the Illusion until it cries..
The Illusion screams;
"I am only here because, you called me"!..
We sit back and ask Peace to visit us..
Peace, gently speaks to us and says;
" Remember, it is just a dream and will pass away"..

Nothingness...
Many other Masters have said that Source,
or Pure Awareness has no Awareness of Itself..
Could this 'I' that is spoken of, also have no Awareness of Itself?..
Could this 'I' be also known as '1' ?..
Does 'I' require an Awareness of Itself ?..
As far as I know,
no one has returned to tell us..
Conjecture at it's finest..
Therefore, I stay with that what resonates to me,
which is that;
'Freedom is hidden within Nothingness'...
namaste, thomas
Based on Illusion...
When I was ordained a monk,
my teacher told me that the robes would make me invisible.
Only when I awakened years later did I discover what he meant.
When the walls of separation come tumbling down, we become transparent,
like space—inside and outside are one.
Any energy or interest in hiding or defending reveal traces of ego to be recognized and seen through.
Because once we really know who we are,
we realize that the impulse to protect is an old vestigial habit based on an illusion.
Stephan Bodian
' Just Dream '...
You are the Nothingness of Reality when there is no 'You'..
The 'I Am' is Consciousness waiting to Understand that 'I Am' is just a dream of creativity..
We have traveled so long as 'I' that we have forgotten how to let go of Attraction and Desire..
Source has no 'I',
Therefore, no Desire or Grasping..
Just Dream..
For what is Eternity to do but Dream...

The Key to Source...
If 'Everything' and Every soul is part of this Pure Intelligence,
It would be impossible to be lonely..
But, then again, there would be no personality to feel lonliness..
I have found that my experience as Divine Consciousness depended on the surrender of the mental separation called separate personality..
And this is only the first Reality of Divine Consciousness...
From this state of Unconditional Love,
The Highest Love is to give All..
This is the Key to Source..

Pure Intelligence...
Consciousness must always be conscious of something.
When consciousness is not
conscious of anything,
it is Pure Intelligence.

Courage...
This is a virtue that all of us seek,
It is the ability to walk into Fear,
With the pain of Fear telling us to go back..
This pain exists because of the ego..
The ego desires survival..
The ego supplies this pain of Fear to hold you back from Freedom..
Courage is required in this violent dream called life..
Courage is required when leaving this dream..
Facing Death both in the physical and spiritual is the mark of Courage..
Spirit does not Die and contains no Fear..
Only the ego survives on Fear..
Fear is the opposite of Love..
Fear is ego..... Love is non-ego..
It is that Simple..

Realization...
Realization is nothing to be gained afresh; it is already
there.
All that is necessary is to get rid of the thought 'I
have not realized'.
Stillness or peace is realization.
There is no moment
when the Self is not.
So long as there is doubt or the feeling
of non-realization, the attempt should be made to rid oneself
of these thoughts.
They are due to the identification of the
Self with the not-Self.
When the not-Self disappears, the
Self alone remains.
To make room, it is enough that objects
be removed. Room is not brought in from elsewhere.

No-Mind state...
When both the rational and intuitive planes of
mind are allowed full operation,
they get super-
imposed on each other resulting in a fasting of
the mind or NO-MIND state.
This is the most
alert state in which the mind can find itself
because of the total freedom in which it can
operate -
a beautiful, natural blending of
discipline and spontaneity.

War in our souls...
The Venerable Thich Nhat Han says, “There is a deep malaise in our society…We have to look deeply together into the nature of war in our collective consciousness.
The war is in our souls.
Many of us are not healthy within, and yet we continue to look for things that only harm us more…The most important practice for preventing war is to stay in touch with what is refreshing, healing, and joyful inside us and all around us.
If we practice walking mindfully, being in touch with the earth, the air, the trees, and ourselves, we can heal ourselves, and our entire society will also be healed.”
“If someone offers you a gift, to whom does the gift belong?” “If someone offers you a gift of anger or hostility and you do not accept it – then it still belongs to the giver.”
– Buddha. Why choose to be upset over something that does not belong to you?
When we look at anger closely and search for clues in dealing with it, we discover a whole spectrum of interrelated issues: anger itself, and then the things into which it can degenerate –
hatred, aggression, violence, and rage.
The method...
Once, you have completely surrendered the ego to the universe during meditation
and Awaken into Reality,
It becomes much easier to do so,
as You are now
completely Aware,
that You are not the egoic consciousness that You believed
You were...
This will feel as though, you are dying..
In fact, 'you' are..
This 'you' is the false egoic consciousness..
Have courage and stare this fear in the eyes..
Embrace the death of illusion..
Awaken as Light...

" The Golden Rule "...
A fellow wrote today on a website; ' To love one another as you wish to be loved',
It reminded me of an experience beyond the body while in meditation..
I once again Awakened into the White Light of Love and Consciousness,
I asked a question to the Higher Power that exists as this Light,
which is also I..
I asked the Light;
" What is the most important lesson should I learn within this life"?..
The Voice answered;
" Treat others as you would desire to be treated"..
I was somewhat shocked to hear something that I was taught as a child and not
some great esoteric lesson..
This lesson was one of Unconditional Love, as that is all the lesson that we need
in this life..
I then found myself back in the body, fully alert...

Sleep...
In your sleep your personality goes completely, and
you become impersonal.
There is, however, a seed
of personality potentially present even in sleep, on
account of which you wake up the next morning.
For
all practical purposes your personality is wiped off,
and so it is that you are very happy in sleep, indicating
thereby that impersonality is the source of happiness,
that personality is the source of sorrow.
The more you
are personal, the more you are grief-stricken.
The
more you become impersonal, the more you become
happy.

You’ve no idea how hard I’ve looked for a gift to bring You.
Nothing seemed right.
What’s the point of bringing gold to the gold mine, or water to the Ocean.
Everything I came up with was like taking spices to the Orient.

What is Life ?...
To understand who You are,
You need a mirror of what You are not..
You, as Divine Consciousness is the energy of Creative Thought..
You, create the animals, vegetation, weather, drama, ego,etc..
All as a means of trying to understand what You are..

You Realise that there is no 'You'..
There only 'Is'..

' I am'...
All I can say truly is:
'I am',
all else is inference.
But the inference has become a habit.
Destroy all habits of thinking and seeing.

which you may call Self, God, Reality or by any other name.
The 'I am' is in the world;
but it is the key which can open the door out of the world.

The Watcher...
I am glad to see a lot of soul searching instead of just believing a dream..
We exist within dreams..
The pain that we feel in a horror filled dream is completely gone when we awaken..
Why does God allow pain within this dream?..
Why not ask Yourself, You are the God creating this dream..
It is to see that which is opposite from You..
So that You may see Yourself more clearly..
After all, we are in a dream of duality..
The pain may seem unbearable but the dream is less than a second of eternity..

the Journey...
I WRITE OF THAT JOURNEY
I remember how my mother would hold me.
I would look up at her sometimes and see her weep.
I understand now what was happening.
Love so strong a force
it broke the cage,
and she disappeared from everything
for a blessed
moment.
All actions have evolved
from the taste of flight;
the hope of freedom
moves our cells
and limbs.
Unable to live on the earth, Mira ventured out alone in the sky,
I write of that journey
of becoming as
free as
God.
Don't forget love;
it will bring all the madness you need
to unfurl yourself across
the universe.

Truth...
When you awaken to truth as it really is,
you will have no occult vision, you will have no "astral" experience, no ravishing ecstasy.
You will awaken to it in a state of utter stillness,
and you will realize that truth was always there within you and that reality was always there around you.
Truth is not something which has grown and developed through your efforts.
It is not something which has been achieved or attained by laboriously adding up those efforts.
It is not something which has to be made more and more perfect each year. And once your mental eyes are opened to truth they can never be closed again...

Training 'Walk-ins'..
When I experienced my Enlightenment.
I Realised that I was Light, Love, and Consciousness..
I had the thought that I never wanted to leave this Blissful state..
A Voice then spoke to Me and said;
" Do You desire to stay here or return to the body?"..
There was no talk of staying within the body to train another soul..
I decided to return to the body because I feared the pain that relatives and friends would feel at my death..
I now believe in 'walk-ins' but returning to the body to teach the new tenant was not spoken of to me...

good and bad...
Although Divine Consciousness feels good, It is because the personality but not the ego still exists..
This feeling of good is really just feeling normal as the state of Love..
Love does not see bad or good because, It is unconditional Love, which sees only God..
and what is God?,
God is Love..
The problem with this dimension of duality is that We are experiencing the opposite of God, so that we can compare it to God..
It is a duality mirror..
We can only know one by knowing the other..
When We move beyond duality,
There is no more good or bad.
There is only Love, Light, and Wisdom..
But, this is only the first step of Reality.
The Final step is to Realise that there is no "YOU"..
This is the state of " Pure Awareness",
and contains no ego or personality..
This is the place of complete non-duality..
This place contains no good or bad..
There is no personality or ego,
to feel either state..
This is the State of Nothingness and Everythingness...

Three major goals...
There are three major and progressive goals open to the mystic. The first is to become conscious of the fringe or aura of his divine soul, the Overself.
Most mystics, elated by the emotional thrill of its discovery, stop here. The second is to penetrate to its serene centre and pass during trance into the undifferentiated void of its non-sensed, non-thinged essence.
The more intelligent and superior mystics, who are naturally much fewer in number than the first kind, are not satisfied until they reach this attainment. It is upon this world-vanishing experience that most Indian yogic metaphysicians base their theory that the universe is an illusion.
To the ordinary yogi, this is the summit of achievement and represents for him the goal of human existence. But the trance itself is only temporary. How can a mental self-abstraction, however prolonged, a merely temporary condition, be a final goal for mankind?
This is the problem which indeed was stated in The Hidden Teaching Beyond Yoga. All such theories merely show that such mystics have their limitations, however admirable may be their capacity to enter into and sustain the trance state. The third goal is to bring the true self, the essential emptiness and the universal manifestation, into a harmonious, unified experience during full normal wakefulness.
This last is philosophical mysticism. Being a complex and complete attainment, it naturally calls for a complex and complete effort. Careful analytical and historical study of mystical practices and mystical biographies will show that it is these three different goals which have always been pursued or achieved, no matter to what external religion, country, or race individual mystics may themselves have belonged.
Thus the ordinary mystic's account of the Overself is true but incomplete, his experience of it authentic but insufficient. He has yet to undergo the whole, the complete experience which mysticism can yield. But then, if he does so, if he refuses to remain satisfied with an incomplete and imperfect attainment, he will no longer remain a mystic. He will become a philosopher.
— Notebooks Category 16: The Sensitives > Chapter 2: Phases of Mystical Development > # 71 Paul Brunton
The Absolute State...
The ultimate experience of being is the absolute state, in which the soul fully transcends the fluctuations of her abidance in the now and enters the unoriginated, unbecome, unmanifested ground of reality — the absolute. The absolute is the primordial void that contains totality, the foundation of the never-ending expansion of creation, the living depth of absence. Everything dwells upon the absolute; all manifests from it at the beginning of creation and all returns to it at the end of time. The absolute state is not the absolute itself, but the meeting between the soul and the absolute.
To be able to distinguish the absolute state from a deep experience of being we must understand that they represent entirely different dimensions of realization. Their difference cannot be measured by degrees of depth. The absolute state actually signifies a quantum leap in the depth of being, beyond depth itself. Prior to reaching the absolute state, being is experienced on the side of creation; after, on, the side of the uncreated. The significance of this statement needs to be contemplated deeply.
Let us imagine an intermediate space that lies between the original void and the reality of creation. Such a space does indeed exist, for there must be a bridge between the radically polarized dimensions of absence and presence. This mysterious 'in-between' space can either be approached from the side of the source or from the side of manifested existence: the absolute pulls the soul from within, the soul surrenders to it from without. When the soul surrenders to the gravity of the original void, she is absorbed into being from the side of creation. Still, she has not yet moved to the abode of the absolute. To cross the invisible border that separates the dimensions of presence and absence is to experience death while living. Those who have crossed over to the abode of the unborn have the rare privilege of becoming immersed in that which is beyond both life and death — the supreme source.
In the absolute state, all relative instability of energy within the experience of being is transcended and we attain the ultimate experience of pure rest. Though empty and immobile, the absolute state has the extraordinary strength and power of the absolute itself. Just as pure awareness is the zero point of consciousness and the now is the zero point of pure awareness, the absolute is the zero point of the now. The absolute has no attributes but one — it is. The original isness of the absolute is the sacred container of all existence.

The pretender...
Are we not all pretenders ?..
As long as we believe that we are a separate egoic consciousness,
we are pretenders..
We are pretending to be a human..
We are pretending that We are not the Energy of Love..
We are pretending that We are not also that soul to which our emotion runs

Spiritual Teachers...
Most of the spiritual writers that I read have had others find fault within
them..
I find this normal as we are all still tempted by ego..
therefore, I read and accept any knowledge that I find to be True and disregard
the rest..
When Jesus became mad with anger about the 'money changers', I did not disregard
His teaching to turn the other cheek or to love your enemies..
Jesus also told His Apostles to sell their coats and buy a sword.
Each experience requires a deeper contemplation..

two viewpoints...
There are two viewpoints:
a qualified truth for the lower stage of aspirants which admits duality;
and the complete viewpoint of nonduality for the highest student;
thus for practical life, when dealing with other people or when engaged in some activity,
those in the first stage must accept the notion of the world being real,
because of expediency; yet even so, when they are alone or when keeping quiet, inactive,
they ought to revert back to regarding the world, which includes one's own body as a part of it, as idea.
Only for the sage is the truth always present, no matter whether he is with others,
whether he is working, or whether he is in trance, and this truth is continuous awareness of one Reality alone and one Self alone.

Intuition...
"Intuition or direct knowledge does not depend on any data from the senses.
That
is why the intuitive faculty is often called the 'sixth sense.'
Everyone has
this sixth sense, but most people do not develop it.
However, almost everyone
has had some intuitional experience,
perhaps a 'feeling' that a particular thing
is going to happen, when there is no sensory evidence to indicate it.

War and Peace...
As I wrote the previous opinions about Love,Defense,Freedom, and Reality,
I started to remember when guns were as common as noses..
I was an Advisor in Vietnam during the 'Tet offensive' of 1968..
The first two weeks, I was living in a large tent and the nightly flight of rockets from the Viet Cong would dance around my tent..
The first two weeks, I lived in fear of the death that was immenent..
I became tired of the pain of fear and decided that I would rather die than endure any more of the mental pain of fear..
From this point on, I carried no weapon..
I walked through the streets of Saigon and bullets would sometimes come near my body but never enter..
Was I protected?..
The people of Saigon would stare at me as though I was insane to be walking alone without a weapon, but, fear had left my mind and peace had entered..
Peace has no fear, only stillness..
But, this Peace comes with the willingness to die ..
This reminded me of also the Peace that comes when the ego dies..

animals and humans...
You speak of animals and I speak of humans..
Perhaps, a human with egoic consciousness is very animalistic..
We think of furry pets filled with love,
But, the reality of Nature is one of violence and death..
This is the third dimensional existence..
Fear is the opposite of Love,
This is a surety.
But, awareness of the nature of animal and human can also reach into the vibration of surety..
would I enjoy to speak only of Love?,
Of course, for this is the Bliss of Reality..
We do not inhabit the body of Reality..
We are in a violent egoic dream..
Can we wake from this dream?..
Yes, but it requires the complete surrender of egoic consciousness..
How many of us are ready for non-existence?..
Sorry, but this is the only way out of this dream...

Unborn...
I reached in experience the nirvana which is unborn,
unrivalled, secure from attachment,
undecaying and unstained.
This condition is indeed reached by me which is deep,
difficult to see, difficult to understand,
tranquil, excellent, beyond the reach of mere logic,
subtle,
and to be realized only by the wise.

I'll meet you there...
Out beyond ideas of wrongdoing and rightdoing,

the world is too full to talk about.
Ideas, language, even the phrase each other
doesn’t make any sense.

Power of Love...
The only power for the mystic is the power of love.
Bowl of Saki, by Hazrat Inayat Khan
Commentary by Pir-o-Murshid Inayat Khan:
Every kind of power lies in this one thing which we call by the simple name:
love. Charity, generosity, kindness, affection, endurance, tolerance, and
patience--all these words are different aspects of one; they are different names
of only one thing: love. Whether it is said, 'God is love,' or whatever name is
given to it, all the names are the names of God; and yet every form of love,
every name for love, has its own peculiar scope, has a peculiarity of its own.
Love as kindness is one thing, love as tolerance is another, love as generosity
is another, love as patience another; and yet from beginning to end it is just
love.
Remember therefore that for higher attainment on the spiritual path study is
secondary; all knowledge of occult and psychic law, all magical powers, are
secondary. The first and most important principle is the cultivation of the
heart quality.
One may ask: How to cultivate the heart quality? There is only one way: to
become selfless at each step one takes forward on this path, for what prevents
one from cultivating the loving quality is the thought of self. The more we
think of our self the less we think of others, and as we go further the self
grows to become worse and worse. In the end the self meets us as a giant which
we had always fought; and now at the end of the journey the giant is the
stronger. But if from the first step we take on the path of perfection we
struggled and fought and conquered this giant which is the self, it could be
done only by the increasing power of love.
What do I mean by love? It is such a word that one cannot give one meaning. All
attributes like kindness, gentleness, goodness, humbleness, mildness, fineness,
are names of one and the same thing. Love therefore is that stream which when it
rises falls in the form of a fountain, and each stream coming down is a virtue.
All virtues taught by books or by a religious person have no strength or life
because they have been learned; a virtue that is learned has no power, no life.
The virtue that naturally springs from the depth of the heart, the virtue that
rises from the love-spring and then falls as many different attributes, that
virtue is real. There is a Hindustani saying, 'No matter how much wealth you
have, if you do not have the treasure of virtue, it is of no use'. The true
riches is the ever increasing spring of love from which all virtues come.
The Long Path...
The Long Path methods and attitudes, ideas and principles--
admirable in their place and time--
have to be got rid of;
otherwise the Short Path truths cannot be brought in.
For the one is dualistic and objective,
whereas the other is nondualistic and nonobjective.
The aspirant has to turn around and take a totally opposite direction.
— Notebooks Category 23: Advanced Contemplation > Chapter 1: Entering the Short Path > # 38 .. Paul Brunton
Practices...
Although it is true that practices by themselves
do not automatically lead to enlightenment,
they
do have an essential place.
Initially, they prepare
the mind to be receptive to subtle truths.
Once
ultimate understanding occurs,
practice continues
to assist in establishing the attention in the ground
of Being
and to ward off doubt towards what has
been recognized in the heart.

Abandon...
The rain has stopped,
the clouds have drifted away,
And the weather is clear again.
If your heart is pure, then all things in your world are pure.
Abandon this fleeting world, abandon yourself,
Then the moon and flowers will guide you along the way.

Life in Fourth Dimension Space...
Slaves in America also lived in a moneyless society, at least for them.
They received food, clothing and shelter..
All the things necessary for life..
But, they were not free..
Freedom is the ability to work at a particular job or not..
This freedom is achieved on this world by money..
Is an advanced galactic society better?..
It would be a complete communist state of existence, not that communism is bad,
as many communes are quite happy..
But total control over others brings the temptation of ego..
Even Jesus was tempted while in the desert, meditating..
While in the illusion of separation called ego, temptation of egoic control over
others is always present...

Emptiness...
You are Emptiness, the Ultimate substance:
remove Emptiness out of Emptiness,
it leaves
only Emptiness because there is nothing
beyond It.
All rises from, dances about it,
and returns to This.
As Ocean rises as a
wave to dance so you are this dancing Emptiness!
Nothing is out of this Emptiness and so it is the
Fullness.
Emptiness is between is and is not.
To be Free, you need the firm conviction that you
are this Substratum, this Peace, this Emptiness.

Glance of Grace...
"O Nanak, know this well: the True One Himself is All.
He cannot be established, He cannot be created.
He Himself is Immaculate and Pure.
Those who serve Him are honored.
O Nanak, sing of the Lord, the Treasure of Excellence.
Sing, and listen, and let your mind be filled with love.
Your pain shall be sent far away, and peace shall come to your home....
Even knowing God, I cannot describe Him; He cannot be described in words.
The Guru has given me this one understanding:
there is only the One, the Giver of all souls. May I never forget Him!
If I am pleasing to Him, then that is my pilgrimage and cleansing bath.
Without pleasing Him, what good are ritual cleansings?
I gaze upon all the created beings: without the karma of good actions,
what are they given to receive?
Within the mind are gems, jewels and rubies,
if you listen to the Guru's Teachings, even once.
The Guru has given me this one understanding:
there is only the One, the Giver of all souls. May I never forget Him!
Even if you could live throughout the four ages, or even ten times more,
and even if you were known throughout the nine continents and followed by all,
with a good name and reputation, with praise and fame throughout the world-
still, if the Lord does not bless you with His Glance of Grace, then who cares?
What is the use?"

For ever we come, for ever we go;
For ever, day and night, we are on the move.

For ever in the round of birth and death,

But sure, a mystery here abides,
A Something is there for us to know.

where man ends...
With the maturity of his soul, a man desires to probe the depths of life,
he
desires to discover the power latent within him, he longs to know the sources
and goal of his life,
he yearns to understand the aim and meaning of his life,
he wishes to understand the inner significance of things,
and he wants to
uncover all that is covered by name and form.
He seeks for insight into cause
and effect, he wants to touch the mystery of time and space,
and he wishes to
find the missing link between God and man-
where man ends, where God begins.

they are trapped within this lower dimension of pain..

all doctrines concerning God. He should learn from whence each possessor of a

it, then he should support it in the case of him who believes in it."

Time and Truth...
Souls gained the ability to share and love..
Reality arrives and innocence is lost..
Looking out, when In is required is a torn map..
Voices beckon and you are led by Hope..
Time enters the room and speaks;
" Did I not say that I would bring Truth"?..
Truth, then enters the room and nods to time,
Truth voices the words;
" Although, I exist without Time,
I will always visit, eventually"..
The voice of Truth is like a spear that enters darkness..
The sounds are beams of Light that were born from Love..
Fear not, The Christ also had a spear enter His body...

Overself Remembrance...
THE OVERSELF REMEMBRANCE EXERCISE Name:
It is so simple that it is called an exercise only for name's sake. In the beginning it requires effort just like any other practice. How to:
1) To be practised at all times, in all places and under all bodily conditions. It consists of the constant loving recall to mind of the existence of, and his inner identity with, the Overself.
2) It involves the repeated and devoted recollection that there is this other and greater self, a warm, felt, living thing, overshadowing and watching over him.
3) It should be continued until he is able to keep the thought of the Overself as a kind of setting for all his other thoughts.
Glimpse: If he has ever had a glimpse of a supersensuous higher existence which profoundly impressed him and perhaps led him to take to the quest, it is most important that he should also insert the remembrance of this experience into his exercise. He should try to bring as vividly as possible to his mind the sense of peace and exaltation which he then felt.
Warning: One danger of this remembrance exercise is that it can become automatic too soon and thus merely mechanical and hollow. The remembrance must be a warm, felt, living thing if the spirit of the exercise is to be retained and not lost. When to:
1) The inward concentration should persist behind and despite outward activity.
2) The Overself remembrance should be held in the back of the mind, even though he may appear to be properly attentive to external matters.
3) He should keep the exercise always or as often as possible in the mind's background while paying attention to duties in the foreground.
4) Though the foreground of his consciousness is busy attending to the affairs of daily living, its background abides in a kind of sacred emptiness wherein no other thought may intrude than this thought of the Overself.
5) The remembrance should become the unmoved pivot upon which the pendulum of external activity swings perpetually to and fro.
Free time: When he has free time, it should come to the fore. Every time there is relaxation from duties, he should let attention fly eagerly and more fully back to it. How long: He should train himself in this exercise:
1) until it becomes quite easy and effortless;
2) until this inward concentration has been set in habitual motion;
3) until the remembrance continues of its own accord;
4) until its practice has become firmly and successfully established as ceaseless flow;
5) until the loving recall to mind of the existence of, and his inner identity with, the Overself becomes constant;
6) until the practice is absorbed in perfect and perpetual performance;
7) until he experiences the Overself unceasingly as the unannounced and impersonal centre of his personal gravity. Potency: This method has a peculiar potency of its own despite its informal and unprogrammed character. Its unexpected effectiveness is therefore not to be measured by its obvious simplicity. Grace: When the remembrance becomes ceaseless flow, the Overself will bring him a remarkable fruitage of grace. When he turns habitually inwards toward the Overself, grace can operate more readily in all matters. When the grace starts working, this is likely to remove a number of internal and external obstacles in his path--sometimes in a seemingly miraculous manner--and eventually bring him to a truer self-awareness.

non-ego and Love...
Non-egoic consciousness is the state of Unconditional Love..
They are One and the Same..
All of the Bibles and Manuscripts point you to this discovery..
The 'keepers' of the holy writings were tempted by power and wealth..
Weak humans, as are we..
They keep you in servitude to themselves..
Fear and religion are packaged for consumption..
They preach Love and then introduce you to a vengeful god..
The Awakening of your Consciousness has begun..
God is Love and there is Nothing that is not God..
Is evil a part of God?..
Only to a satanist, such as those that control the matrix of this world..
Evil is a dream of Non-God..
Non-God is the false self, known as egoic consciousness..
To Know God is to first know what is not God..
This is the dimension of duality..
Eventually, even the ego seeks Real Happiness instead of the false joys of selfishness..
The ego begins the journey to suicide..
Suicide of the ego is called surrendering of division..
This is the point of Enlightenment..
Enlightenment is the Realization that there is only One..
And that One, is composed of Light, Love, and Consciousness...
namaste, thomas
True understanding...
True understanding,
which is enlightenment,
can happen only when there is total effortlessness -
in other words, in the utter absence of any com-
prehender.
Then there is only the witnessing of the
dream of life without the least desire to change
anything.

final annihilation...
The ego survives by trying to pretend that it is
the thinker, feeler, speaker and do-er.
These phenomena serve as the handholds for
the ego to, seemingly, survive within the vast
emptiness of Consciousness.
But if you’re ever to live as who you really are,

The final annihilation is of your story.

What is viewed ?...
"A question arose if the world is real or unreal,
since it is claimed to be both by the _advaitins_
themselves. Sri Bhagavan said that it is unreal if
viewed as apart from the Self and real if viewed as
the Self."
_Talks With Sriramana Maharshi_: Threee Volumes in
One_
Tiruvannamalai: Sri Ramana Ashram, 7th ed. 1984
(1955), p. 499
[According to Advaita Vedanta, of which Sri Ramana was
an exponent, the Self [Atman] is Reality [Brahman].
The phenomenal worlds -- gross, subtle and causal --
appear to exist separate from the Self through the
Self's Power [Maya]: The power of the Self is the
ability of the Self to know itself.
In the Self's
knowing itself as infinite, knowledge and existence
are identical, and the power of the Self is known to
be one with its nature. The Self is known as an
indivisible unity"within" which there is a flow of
knowledge. This flow of knowledge is Veda -- complete
knowledge. Veda has three aspects, _rishi_ or knower,
devata or knowing, and cchandas or known, which are
indivisibly one in pure knowledge.
If the Self is infinite, it must include the finite.
In the Self's knowing itself as finite, knowledge
(subject) and existence (object) appear to be
different, even though they are not actually so, and
the power of the Self that generates this illusion of
separateness where there is none remains a mystery.
The knower appears as the limited self, which takes
itself to be mind/body. The known appears as the world
of objects, and the process of knowing is the spectrum
of mental activity characteristic of finite mind.
Horizontally this spectrum includes feeling, thought,
imagination, memory and so forth.
Vertically, so to
speak, the spectrum of finite knowledge is gross,
subtle and mental, and limited mind projects the
gross, subtle and causal worlds, depending one whether
one's state of awareness is gross, subtle or mental.
This state is determined by the predominating quality
of one's latent impressions or _sanskaras_.
The
spiritual path is the progression of awareness
through the gross, subtle and mental toward
realization.
Liberation is the removal of this
ignorance through realization of the true nature of
the Self as the only reality.
This occurs when the
latent impressions are resolved by the final stroke of
knowledge imparted by the grace of the Master, who has
realized the Self and can thus remove the veil of
ignorance of others at will.
Then separateness is
discovered to be illusion in the realization of
Reality as eternally unitary and indivisible...

You who absorb into sublime, immutable bliss
all phenomena, moving and unmoving, infinite as space,
O glorious Heruka and Varahi, your consort,
I wear the jewel light of your feet as my crown.
Great bliss, the union of method and wisdom,
engaged in the play of the unmoving with movement,
this young coral maiden with beautiful eyes,
diamond queen, embrace me with your arts of love.
Adorning the highest part of my body,
my crown, with the jewel of your feet,
I recite these words of aspiration and prayer
with my palms folded at my heart.
When shall I ever achieve this state:
seeing all forms as mandala deities,
all sounds as vajra songs of tantra,
all thoughts as fuel to enflame
the spontaneous wisdom of emptiness and bliss?
When will I experience perfect purity?
By purging in profound absorption
all phenomena born of imaginative concepts,
fully aware that they open the way to self-arisen rikpa.
When will I run in a joyful step-dance,
the play of supreme illusion, the bliss-void wisdom,
in the dakin town, the emanation of pure realms --
where a hundred dharma doors are opened wide?
Outer dakinis hover above the twenty-four mystic places;
inner dakinis dwell in the sphere of radiant bliss.
When will I immerse in the glory of sexual play
through the secret act of conjoining space and vajra?
When can I arise as the great magical net --
the union of body and mind,
instantly burning all grossness of dualism
with the great bliss fire flaming the expanse?
When will I accomplish the natural feat
of absorbing the imperfections of illusion
into immutable bliss, this wheel of becoming,
engaged in the blissful play of union?
On the clear mirror of the luminous mind
my guru, my deity, and my mind reflect as one;
may I soon attain the good fortune of
practicing night and day this perfect meditation.
May my mind be always intoxicated
by drinking insatiably the nectar --
the delicious taste of sexual play
between the hero in his utter ecstasy
and his lover, the lady emptiness.
By entering deep into the sphere of voidness,
may I be endowed with the power of cleansing
this foul odor, grasping body, speech, and mind as ordinary,
through the yoga of perceiving all as divine.
May I come to see with naked eyes
the form of the fully emergent mandala
of perfect deities, the sport of the ever-present mind
inside the courtyard of the heart's dharma chakra.
O yoginis, heroines of the twenty-four places,
and the hosts of mantra-born and field-born dakinis
who possess powers swift as thought,
assist me in friendship of every kind.
the hidden teaching...
The hidden teaching starts and finishes with experience.
Every man must begin his mental life as a seeker by noting the fact that he is conscious of an external environment.
He will proceed in time to discover that it is an ordered one, that Nature is the manifestation of an orderly Mind.
He discovers in the end that consciousness of this Mind becomes the profoundest fact of his internal experience...
