"Know Thyself"

This small saying has a very deep and mystical meaning....It means to find out who you consider yourself to be...are you filled with anxiety,or strained, or in a word..unhappy !.....then you do not know your true self....the true self is the person that you really are. It is filled with happiness and love..without love, happiness on earth and beyond,is impossible. this is why the greatest mystics on earth have stressed this concept for achieving a more abundant life....as Jesus said:"you will have life,and have it more abundantly"...the problem with humanity is that they think that they are the false Ego...this is the imaginary self that we have created, and which we believe that we are..this ego is filled with selfishness, greed, hatred, and all the other vices that are culminated under the word evil....the real self is filled with love, humility, unselfishness, and all the other virtues that we really are....this is why,we give these attributes to the Universal Mind that some call God...so the secret to happiness and the meaning of life is to become who you truly are..a decent, loving, human being, that has a relationship with the source of love called God....this relationship is really just sharing love with all life on earth and confirming the realization that "We are created in the image and likeness of God".....
