' The practice of Presence '...

"Only in the degree that you live consciously in the realization of God and let this realization of God dwell within you does it become true that you do not live alone -- that the place whereon you stand is holy ground, and God is with you and He will never leave you or forsake you.

"Every person who has known dissatisfaction, incompleteness, and frustration will some day learn that there is only one missing link in this entire chain of harmonious living.

That is the practice of the the presence of God -- consciously, daily, hourly, abiding in some great spiritual truth, and it makes no difference which scripture: Christian, Hebrew, Hindu, Buddhist, Taoist, or Moslem."

Joel S. Goldsmith
Practicing the Presence
