' The realization of no self '...

The realization of no self is not a position. It is not a philosophy or belief. To speak about it, however, one must enter into the dualistic realm of language.

The moment you begin talking about “no self,” it sounds like a position. But the realization of no self is the actual seeing that you are only emptiness (i.e., not the mental position or belief that you are emptiness, but rather the actual realization).

Once that emptiness is realized, it is seen that emptiness arises as every mental position but that there is no self to attach to any of the positions.

This pointer is not suggesting that you should not take positions. That, in and of itself, is a position. It is simply an invitation to look within, to that which is prior to all positions. It is an invitation to see that there is no self there to attach to any position including the position that there is no self.
