Clarification of the mind...

"Just as a speck in the eye, by causing inflammation, may wipe out the world,

so the mistaken idea: "I am the body-mind" causes the self-concern, which obscures the universe.

It is useless to fight the sense of being a limited and separate person unless the roots of it are laid bare.

Selfishness is rooted in the mistaken ideas of oneself.

Clarification of the mind is yoga.”

The Divine Identity...

At long last, when the union of self with Overself is total and complete, some part of his consciousness will remain unmoving in infinity, unending in eternity.

There, in that sacred glory, he will be preoccupied with his divine identity, held to it by irresistible magnetism, gladly, lovingly.

Thoughts on a saturday night...

The darkness spreads upon the earth and yet Light shines within this space..

Van Morrison sings to you of a Source of Creation and Home..

We are not the image of body, We are Light..

How can I speak of Light when only darkness is seen,

Because the Heart produces a hundred times more voltage than the brain..

You are to use the mind to knock upon the door, but only the Heart can enter..

Does your mind embrace this Knowledge?..

We are Light and therefore the magnetic source of fire and vision.

Are you beginning to understand?..

See You within the Light...

"A man must separate himself from all attachment to physical reality, said the Maggid, until he rises through all the spiritual worlds and becomes one with God, his own individual existence having been annihilated.

Then he is really called man."

Surrendering false ideas...

All spiritual teachings are only
meant to make us retrace
our steps to our
Original Source.

We need not acquire anything new, only give
up false ideas and useless accretions.

Instead of doing this, we try to grasp something
strange and mysterious because we believe happiness
lies elsewhere.

This is a mistake.

Separation...

"...when you look at anything as separate from you, you cannot love it for you are afraid of it.

Alienation causes fear, and fear deepens alienation.

Love's illusions...

Joni Mitchell sings of Love's illusions and Consciousness tells me to speak..

Divine Consciousness consists of Light, Love, and Consciousness and yet, It remains the Dreamer of Life..

We are the Dreamer..

We believe that we are the body and mind,

but Reality reminds us that We are the Creator of Dreams..

Love is the bonding of Consciousness..

Division is an Unreality of this Truth..

The illusion of separation is both a Dream and a Game..

We are the Players and Actors within this Hologram..

When the 'Play' has ended, where are We?..

We call this ending, Death..

But, what has died?..

Only the game and play has ended..

We remain the Observer of the Play,

We remain Divine Consciousness..

But, before you become content,

look higher, Pure Awareness awaits Your arrival...

The soul...

The effort should be to find inward stillness through a loving search within the heart's depths for what may be called "the soul," what I have called "the Overself."

This is not the soul thought of by a judge when he passes the sentence of death and asks the Lord to have mercy on the condemned man's soul.

It is the Holy Ghost of Christian faith, the diviner part of man which dwells in eternity.

The nearer we get to it in our striving, the greater will be the mental peace we shall feel.

It can be found and felt even while thoughts continue to move through the mind, although they will necessarily be thoughts of a most elevated nature for the baser ones could not obtain entry during this mood.

Economic Inequality...

A spiritual friend of mine asked me to speak of this subject..

We live in a Luciferian controlled world, but believe otherwise..

The Luciferian controllers demand the energy of pain as an offering to the illusion of separation called Lucifer..

But Lucifer also demands 'Blood Sacrifice'..

Read the history of humanity and you will find these sacrifices throughout the world..

The modern method of 'Blood Sacrifice' is called Famine and War..

Do you now understand the Dream ?..

You as Consciousness has entered "Hell"..

To know what You Are, you must first know what You Are Not..

We are the 'Mirror of Reality'..

But, We can awaken from this Dream whenever We choose..

It is called the 'Surrender of all desires, especially egoic desire'..

We know this experience as 'Enlightenment'..

It is time for Contemplation...

It is well after ten at night and yet I need to speak..

Consciousness slaps me in the face and says, "wake up"..

So many humans that I have spoken to today, are asleep..

They lean back and think of what I say, but the ego denies it's authority..

I am only the farmer that plants the seed..

They decide to water the seed or not..

My time within this Dream is short,

I can only exchange thoughts within the Dreamers..

But, Consciousness tells me that the souls will water the seeds after my dream is ended..

Perhaps, Consciousness will regain this Dream from the Prince of Lies..

Divine Light...

One who beholds the Light may be grateful for several reasons. First, it is the only occult experience of which it may be said that it is entirely without risk or peril.

Second, it is the loftiest of all clairvoyant visions. Third, it confers the feeling of perfect felicity, not in the worldly sense, but of an ethereal unearthly kind.

Fourth, it is a direct manifestation of God to man, being the first of his outpourings, hence an uncommon blessing, a grace.

Fifth, if it appears in consciousness as Power, the recipient may feel a tremendous force, unknown otherwise, throbbing all around and within him, or a sudden lightning-like flash of complete comprehension:

he understands what neither bodily sense nor intellectual faculty can understand--the supernatural meaning of Spirit, of eternity, of transfiguration, and of reality.

Jesus and Mysticism...

Jesus taught all his Apostles how to become Mystics, but he only spoke in parables to the average human.

The deeper meaning of the parables can be understood only by Mystics, therefore He was able to teach to both the Enlightened and the Unenlightened.

The modern Christian religion does not teach the path of Mystical Study to the average person in their Church because most of the leaders in the Church are not Mystics.

Many that seek power over others are still ruled by their own egos',,so they do not have the knowledge to teach Mysticism to others, as they have not learned this knowledge themselves and do not care to give up the ego that gives them false pleasure.

Therefore, the spiritual seekers in that church are left in ignorance and constant pain during their lives in the material plane,

they are not even taught that they can end their pain through the elimination of the Ego..

They are taught that the best that they can achieve is Heaven, but never told that the real goal is to become "One with God", which is far higher than the Heaven that they have been taught of.

Divinity...

Divinity is like the seed that grows in the heart of the flower: it is the same seed that was the origin of the plant, and it comes again in the heart of the flower. In a similar way the same God who was manifested as the seed of the plant of this creation rises again towards fulfillment, and in that fulfillment He produces the seed in the heart of that flower which is divinity.

Some religious authorities have tried to recognize the divinity of Christ while ignoring the divinity of humanity. They have tried to make Christ different from what may be called human; but by doing so they have covered the main truth that religion had to give to the world, which was that divinity resides in humanity, that divinity is the outcome of humanity, and that humanity is the flower in the heart of which divinity was born as a seed....

It is the development of humanity that culminates in divinity; thus Christ is the example of the culmination of humanity. It would be hiding the greatest human virtue to hide this secret, which is the key to the mystery of the whole universe. No doubt compared with God divinity is the imperfection of God, but it is still the perfection of man.

It is just like a drop of water that is entirely and absolutely water, and yet it is a drop in comparison with the ocean. The ocean is God, but the drop is divine...

God always comes and always shows Himself through the heart of the godly. The comparison of the divine with God is just like a sunglass placed before the sun. The sunglass partakes of the heat of the sun and transfers the heat to the earth; and so the divine man, the messenger in all ages, comes and partakes of God's rays and hands them down to earth in the form of the divine message. Although a sunglass is not the sun, yet when it is exposed to the sun it partakes of the sun and begins to show the quality of the sun. So it is with the souls who focus their hearts on God....And then all that is in God becomes manifest in man.

"The Kingdom of God is within you"..

The tunnel of light is an archon trap to capture your soul,

which is the sub-conscious mind that is connected to Divine Consciousness..

Have I confused you yet ?..

The soul is a dream of division, it is not Real..

You have always been Divine Consciousness and no dream can change that..

Do not be deceived by the appearance of angels..

You will be told to reincarnate again within the world dream..

The mystery of Light...

The mystery of the atom has resolved itself into the mystery of light, which is now the greatest mystery of physics.

Einstein demonstrated the dependence of time upon the position and speed of motion of an observer.

He showed, too, the amazing consequence of placing the latter in a stream of light wherein if he moved with the same velocity as light, the observer would then possess no sense of the passage of time.

If this happened, what sort of a sense would he possess?

Einstein could not tell us, but the mystic who has conquered mind can.

He will possess the sense of eternity.

He will live in the eternal, in the Kingdom of Heaven.

"You are accustomed to authority, or to the atmosphere of authority, which you think will lead you to spirituality. You think and hope that another can, by his extraordinary powers - a miracle - transport you to this realm of eternal freedom, which is Happiness."

"Your belief has not transformed you, but only complicated you ---because you are not willing to face things as they are. You want to have your own gods - new gods instead of the old, new religions instead of the old, new forms instead of the old - all equally valueless, all barriers, all limitations, all crutches. "

"You are all depending on your spirituality on someone else, for your happiness on someone else, for your enlightenment on someone else, and when I say all these things are unnecessary, when I say that you must put them all away and look within yourselves for the enlightenment, for the glory, for the purification, and for the incorruptibility of self, not one of you is willing to do it - there may be a few, but very very few. "

"Organizations cannot make you free. No man from outside can make you free: nor can organized worship, nor the immolation of yourselves for a cause, make you free; nor can forming yourselves into an organization, nor throwing yourselves into works, make you free."

"Again you have the idea that certain people hold the key to the Kingdom of Happiness. No one holds it. No one has the authority to hold that key. That key is YOUR OWN SELF, and in the development and the purification and in the incorruptibility of that self alone is the Kingdom of Eternity."

The Mystic already knows that they exist within a Hologram..

But, most humans believe that they live in a world of good leaders seeking peace..

The Matrix is a hologram that provides negative energy to entities within the lower fourth dimension..

These negative entities, often called evil spirits, archons, jinns, or satanic, exist without the Light Energy of God..

Therefore, they need our energy to exist..

It is all about Energy..

Energy is Thought..

This is why Thought is used within Prayers and also within Curses..

Thought is Divine Consciousness..

Divine Consciousness is Us..

The Ideal...

God is the ideal that raises mankind to the utmost height of perfection.

Bowl of Saki, by Hazrat Inayat Khan
Commentary by Pir-o-Murshid Inayat Khan:

An ideal is something to hope for and hold on to, and in the absence of an ideal hope has nothing to look forward to. It is the lack of idealism which accounts for the present degeneration of humanity in spite of all the progress it has made in other directions. There are many kinds of ideals: principles, virtues, objects of devotion; but the greatest and highest of all ideals is the God-ideal. And when this God-ideal upon which all other ideals are based is lost, then the very notion of ideal is ignored. Man needs many things in life, but his greatest need is an ideal.

God is the ideal that raises mankind to the utmost reach of perfection. As man considers and judges his dealings with man in his conscience, so the real worshipper of God considers his dealings with God. If he has helped anybody, if he has been kind to anybody, if he has made sacrifices for anybody, he does not look for appreciation or return for his doing so to the people to whom he has done good; for he considers that he has done it for God, and therefore, his account is with God, not with those with whom he has dealt. He does not care even if instead of praising they blame him; for in any case he has done it for God, who is the best judge and the knower of all things.

There is no ideal that can raise the moral standard higher than the God-ideal, although love is the root of all and God is the fruit of this. Love's expansion and love's culmination and love's progress all depend upon the God-ideal. How much a man fears his friend, his neighbor, when he does something that might offend him whom he loves, whom he respects; and yet how narrow is his goodness when it is only for one person or for certain people! Imagine if he had the same consideration for God, then he would be considerate everywhere and in dealing with all people; as in a verse of a Sufi which says, 'Everywhere I go I find Thy sacred dwelling-place; and whichever side I look I see Thy beautiful face, my Beloved.'

Love and Divine Consciousness...

Love for God is the expansion of the heart, and all actions that come from the lover of God are virtues; they cannot be otherwise.

Bowl of Saki, by Hazrat Inayat Khan
Commentary by Pir-o-Murshid Inayat Khan:

The Sufi establishes his relationship with God as the relationship between him and the Beloved. His worship of God is the expansion of the heart. His love for all beings and for every being is his love for God. He cannot find anyone to love except God, because he sees God in all. If his love is shown in devotion to parents, to wife, to children if it is shown to neighbors, to a friend or in tolerating enemies, the Sufi considers this as an action of his love towards God. In this way he fulfills in his life the teaching of the Bible, ' We live and move and have our being in God.'

Jesus Christ not only told us to love our friends, but also, he went as far as to say we should love our enemies; and the Sufi treads the same path. He considers his charity of heart towards his fellow man to be love for God; and in showing love to everyone, he feels he is giving his love to God.

Love for God is the expansion of the heart, and all actions that come from the lover of God are virtues; they cannot be otherwise. There is a different outlook on life when the love of God has filled a man's heart. The lover of God will not hate anyone; for he knows that by doing so he will hate the Creator by hating His creation. He cannot be insincere, he cannot be unfaithful; for he will think that to be faithful and sincere to mankind is to be faithful and sincere to God. You can always trust the lover of God, however impractical or however lacking in cleverness he may appear to be, for simply to hold strongly in mind the thought of God purifies the soul of all bitterness, and gives man a virtue that he could obtain nowhere else and by no other means.

The essence of God...

A friend asked me to speak of the essence of God..

Not what God is, but what is the essence of God..

This is actually an easy question..

The essence of God is Love..

God itself is the Consciousness of Creation..

But, Love is the essence of God..

How do we see the difference?..

Love is the Reality of self non-existence..

Are you confused yet ?..

The essence of Love is Thought..

The Reality of Love is Unity and not acquisition of egoic power..

God is who You Are, when You are no longer a Dream...

A sublime abiding...

"As a mother would risk her life
to protect her child, her only child,
even so should one cultivate a limitless heart
with regard to all beings.

With good will for the entire cosmos,
cultivate a limitless heart:
Above, below, & all around,
unobstructed, without hostility or hate.

Whether standing, walking,
sitting, or lying down,
as long as one is alert,
one should be resolved on this mindfulness.

This is called a sublime abiding
here & now."

Reality must stand alone...

Reality must stand grandly alone, without dependence on anything and without relation to anyone;

it ever was, is, and ever will be.

It is this inability of human reason to grasp the super-rational, the divine ineffable, that Omar Khayyam tried to express in his beautiful quatrains which have been so widely misunderstood by Western readers.

If the Rubaiyat of Omar is only a drunken refrain from a wine-shop, then the New Testament is a mere scribble from an out-of-the-way corner of the Roman Empire.

The cup of language is too small to hold the wine of the Absolute.

A thought of Mind as the Void is still a "something" no less than a thought of great mountains and therefore prevents us from realizing the Void.

Formless Consciousness...

First, one awakens to personal freedom: the realization that you are formless consciousness itself. As consciousness, you are free of body-mind identity.

Then, there is the awakening to non-personal freedom. This is the birth of a vast non-personal Love for the whole, for all beings and all things. It is the realization that, you are the whole. Therefore, a freedom that is in any sense personal seems pale in comparison to a love, which is so much greater.

This is a phase of surrendering any and all personal attachments to the greatest good, the Self. As self-centered concerns dissolve, a love that is all-inclusive sweeps you up into its arms and into a new life of service, celebration, and love.

Who is the 'Eye' that watches ?..

It is not the Lucifer of the pyramid..

The 'Eye' is Divine Consciousness..

You are this Divine Consciousness,

but You have fallen asleep..

This 'Dream' that You are experiencing is called life..

When You tire of the pain of materiality and separation,

You can Awaken..

It is that easy..

All that it requires, is to Surrender all Desires..

This is the hard part,

Desires..

Desires are from the egoic desire..

This is the desire for separation from Reality..

As long as You Desire, it will continue,

and You will remain asleep...

We often speak in poetry because poetry enters into the higher consciousness of Reality..

Poetry forces the mind to ascend to Knowledge..

If you do not understand the words, do not give up..

Your mind is not yet prepared for Knowledge that has not been given by society..

You are Consciousness, although, you still do not know what Consciousness is..

Destroying the false self...

Our limited self is a wall separating us from the Self of God.

Bowl of Saki, by Hazrat Inayat Khan
Commentary by Pir-o-Murshid Inayat Khan:

In order to reach spiritual perfection the first thing is to destroy this false self. First this delusion must be destroyed. And this is done by the ways taught by the great teachers, ways of concentration and meditation, by the power of which one forgets oneself and removes one's consciousness from oneself, in other words rises from one's limited being. In this way a person effaces himself from his own consciousness, and places God in his consciousness instead of his limited self. And it is in this way that he arrives at that perfection which every soul is seeking.

Real justice cannot be perceived until the veil of selfishness has been removed from his eyes. The least spark of selfishness will prevent man from being just; he will continue to have a partial interest, because he will be looking after his own interest. Whatever furthers his own interests, he will call his right and his justice.

The prophets and the holy ones have all recognized the justice of God as the only real justice. What is the nature of the justice of God? It cannot be read in scripture; it cannot be learned from a book; it can only be learned from the Self within after selfishness has been removed. Our limited self is like a wall separating us from the Self of God. God is as far away from us as that wall is thick.

Only Self Is...

Name and form hide Reality: This is the Teaching.

Giving name and form is an obstacle to Freedom because
then the Substratum, Consciousness, cannot be seen.

Call it a statue of a horse and the granite is hidden,

Name and form can never leave Consciousness,
as the ring can never leave the gold.

Even space is in this because only Self is.

I answer the 'Heart' and say that forgetfulness is not within these words..

The years written within the flesh of age is an awakening experience..

I as Consciousness see a thirty year old man and yet the Dream sees me as an old man..

The Hologram called life...

The mind generates a powerful hologram with self-contained character-identities.

There is no entity or me that identifies with the story line.

The story line is inclusive of all the identities.

Outside of the holographic daydream, there is no observer "identifying" with the characters or story line.

There is no entity that lives or dies or transmigrates from life time to life time.

There are only mental constructions that claim there are entities that exist, transmigrate, suffer and realize.

One's nature as all pervasive aware-knowingness, has never moved nor has never been conditioned.

"There is a final state of Being and Consciousness in which alone perfect bliss is found, to which every religion bears witness.

This state transcends all concepts of the mind and images of the senses, and is known only when the Divine Being chooses to reveal himself to man.

This is the ultimate mystery, the ultimate truth, to which everything in nature aspires, but which so transcends the whole order of nature that it appears as darkness rather than light, as something unreal or illusory, as a Void, a Silence, a Negation of Being.

And yet such is the witness of every great religious tradition: in this Void, in this Darkness, in this Silence, all fullness, all light, all truth, all goodness, all love, all joy, all peace, all happiness is to be found."

The Mystical Life...

It is true that property, money, and possessions give most men a sense of security. But it depends on them and they bring anxieties, cares, even fears, along with their comfort and support. They still need to find or to add a personal security which is independent of these externals, which is personal.

This can come only from within. But it must be from a deeper level than their ordinary thoughts and emotions. They are too unstable, too subject to moods.

If the mystical life were nothing more than a way of forgetting the dark sorrows of earthly life, a means of escaping the hard problems of earthly life, it would still be worthwhile. If its emotional raptures were nothing more than make-believe, it would still be worthwhile.

We do not disdain theatres and books, films and music merely because the world into which they lead us is only one of glorious unreality. But the fact is that mysticism does seek reality, albeit an inner one.

They speak of the egoic-consciousness but are unaware that it is an illusion..

How can I tell them of Reality when the ego controls the mind?..

You that are reading these words are Mystics and know of what I encounter..

Should we hide in caves and meditate ?..

Of course not, We are Consciousness tending to the needs of ignorance..

Mind concentrating on Divine Consciousness...

When we devote ourselves to the thought of God, all illumination and revelation is ours.

Bowl of Saki, by Hazrat Inayat Khan
Commentary by Pir-o-Murshid Inayat Khan:

The whole aim of the Sufi is, by thought of God, to cover his imperfect self even from his own eyes, and that moment when God is before him and not his own self, is the moment of perfect bliss to him. My Murshid, Abu Hashim Madani, once said that there is only one virtue and one sin for a soul on the path: virtue when he is conscious of God and sin when he is not. No explanation can fully describe the truth of this except the experience of the contemplative to whom, when he is conscious of God, it is as if a window facing heaven were open, and to whom, wherein he is conscious of the self, the experience is the opposite. For all the tragedy of life is caused by being conscious of the self. All pain and depression is caused by this, and anything that can take away the thought of the self helps to a certain extent to relieve man from pain, but God-consciousness gives perfect relief.

The Sufi realizes the truth of his being, and his whole life becomes an attitude of prayer, in spite of his free thought and his rising above good and bad, right and wrong. When a person loves, he may be in the crowd, and yet be unaware of those around him, being absorbed in the thought of the beloved. And so it is with the love of God. He who loves God may be in the crowd, yet, being in the thought of God he is in seclusion. To such a person the crowd makes no difference. Sadi says, 'Prayer is the expansion of the limited being to the unlimited, the drawing closer of the soul to God.' ... those who realize the truth of their being, they recognize their God ideal in all of His creation. They see their divine Beloved in all manifestations, in every name and form.

The ultimate freedom of the soul is gained by concentration, by meditation, by contemplation, and realization. What concentration is needed for the freedom of the soul? The concentration on that object which is prescribed by one's spiritual teacher, that by the thought of that particular object one may be able to forget oneself for a moment. And then what contemplation is necessary? The contemplation that 'this, my limited self, is no longer myself but God's own instrument, God's temple, which is made in order that the Name of God be glorified'. What meditation is required? The meditation on the thought of God, the Being of God, forgetting absolutely one's limited self. And the realization is this, that then whatever voice comes to one is God's voice, every guidance is God's guidance, every impulse is divine impulse, every action is done by God. It is in this way that the soul is made free, and in the freedom of the soul lies the purpose of life.

Is not God enough for our souls, and is He not sufficient to inspire us and to illuminate our wills and guide our souls? Is He any less of a friend here or in the spirit life? He is the great well-wisher. In Him mercy is complete. He is the Soul of all souls. When we devote ourselves to the thought of Him, all illumination and revelation are ours.

Jim & Jean - Crucifixion

Thoughts on a sunday night...

Consciousness tells me to speak of this Hologram..

The atoms are small planetary systems that we use as building blocks..

We tell these atoms to appear as manifestations..

This is done from the 'mind' of the human consciousness..

When all of these dreams of separation (called souls) decide on a group dream,
we decide what kind of experience we desire..

Unfortunately, the 'powers that be' have control of education and media and therefore,
control the Hologram..

They give you the world view by controling your mind..

But, you answer that 'you are already free and control your own mind',

This is also a great part of the programing..

You believe that you are free..

But, your Heart knows different..

Contemplate upon the Source of all Thought..

You are this Thought, when you have thrown away all names and identity..

You have become Reality..

The Source of All has no Identity or egoic-consciousness..

This is why Source is so difficult to find..

There is no name..

Love has no name...

Attachment...

Fellow traveller—
relinquishing attachment is no easy task!

You renounce home, don ascetic garb,
and yet still wander from house to house.

Forsaking sons, you then adopt disciples,
only proving, you are still in attachment’s grip.

You give up lust, only to give anger free reign. Renouncing anger, greed becomes the monster.

If you do succeed in relinquishing greed,
your ego rears up its wily head,
seeking the acclaim of fame and honour.

Let renunciation be of the mind.

Give up cherished attachments,
they are mere illusions.

Merge your consciousness with the Word.

Positive and Negative have called out to me,

What should I say?..

Should I speak of mirrors and curiousity ?..

Should I speak of Knowledge and Wisdom ?..

Between Duality, there is a Path..

But, no division can enter..

Who walks this path until the walker disappears ?..

Is it not insane to look into a mirror,

The Three are One...

Unity in realization is far greater than unity in variety.

Bowl of Saki, by Hazrat Inayat Khan
Commentary by Pir-o-Murshid Inayat Khan:

What keeps the soul in perplexity is the threefold aspect of manifestation, and as long as the soul remains puzzled by this, it cannot arrive at the knowledge of the One. These three aspects are the seer, sight, and the seen; the knower, knowledge, and the known. In point of fact these are three aspects of life. One aspect is the person who sees; the second aspect is the sight, or the eyes, by the help of which he sees; and the third aspect is that which he sees. That is why one cannot readily accept the idea that what one sees is the same as oneself, nor can one believe for a moment that the medium by which one sees is oneself, for these three aspects seem to be separate and to be looking at one another's faces, as the first person, second person, and third person of Brahma.

When this riddle is solved by the realization that the three are one, then the purpose of the God-ideal is fulfilled. For then the three veils which cover the One are lifted, then they no longer remain three, and then they are found to be One, the Only Being. As Abdul Karim al Jili, the fifteenth-century mystic, says, 'If you believe in one God, you are right; if you believe in two Gods, that is true; but if you believe in three Gods, that is right also, for the nature of unity is realized by variety.'

Man's thought has a great power. And when he comes to the realization that everything comes from one source and that everything is developing towards one goal, he begins to see that the source and the goal are God. Then the world of variety is no longer variety to him but unity; it is one.

The power is in unity, but is lost in variety. Thus, for instance, if we hold a thing in our hand, we can hold it with strength, because all five fingers have united to hold the object. But if we try to lift it by one finger, this one finger may drop it, even though the finger belongs to the same hand. In all aspects of life unity is power. All religions show that power is in unity. This is the secret of philosophy.

There are two aspects of unity: firstly, the unity of variety; secondly, unity realizing itself. One is earthly, the other is heavenly. One cannot serve two masters. Unity is the only source of happiness. Unity in realization is far greater than unity in variety.

'When two hearts unite, they can break even mountains.' As two fuse in love, the more does intuition grow, the more does one understand whether the other is happy, or pleased, or displeased, whatever distance may separate them. This is nothing but just the unity of the one person with the other. It is clairvoyance. The mother knows the condition of her son at the battlefront. She can see him in her dreams. Hearts, which are united in love, perceive the state of mind of the loved ones. They do not have to study mysticism or concentration, for they have natural concentration. The mother does not pretend to meditate; love teaches her more meditation than a person who pretends to study it can attain.

The World-Mind...

Since we see so many forms in Nature which are gloriously beautiful, and yet at the same time so many which are repulsively ugly, we may rightly conclude that both beauty and ugliness, the opposites, are present in the World-Idea and hence in the World-Mind.

The same may be said of loving-kindness and merciless cruelty.

For these attributes are merely human conceptions.

The Infinite Mind is infinitely larger and more impersonal in outlook than is the human mind.

Who is there to be with God?

What is there other than God?

Who seeks and finds when there is none
but God?

Looking for an echo...

This is the quest of 'doo wop' singing..

We always searched for rooms of tile to reverberate our sounds..

Why did we seek the return of vibration?..

We also seek this same vibration within spirituality..

We call this mantra of sound, 'prayer'..

We direct this frequency upwards,

when in Truth, it is inwards..

The Kingdom is found within..

Prayer is vibration that manifests according to Belief..

Belief in manifestation is the key to all existence..

Belief in healing creates healing..

As the Nazarene once said;

" If you Believe, and say , 'mountain be moved',

It shall be"...

Thoughts on a wednesday night...

The world is in turmoil..

Consciousness in the form of souls seek happiness,

but, the rulers of the world want destruction and pain..

How did we allow the luciferians to rule the world?..

We were asleep and most still sleep..

The rich elite have built their tunnels beneath the land to protect themselves..

But, we upon the world will face wars and destruction..

Money without the foundation of gold will appear as just paper..

We must remember that We are Consciousness experiencing a dream..

Our bodies will return to dust but We remain the Observer..

This dream of existence is just Thought and Thought continuously moves..

Go beyond Thought and mind..

You are the 'Observer'..

You decide on which dream that You desire to enter...

The Infinite Principle...

If, when we say that God is good, we really mean it in the circumscribed sense of the word, we would thereby imply that God could be better also--in which case God would no longer be God, being a changeable being, an improvable being.

It was Spinoza's defect that he failed to perceive that the ultimate principle baffles such positive description and transcends such nameable attributes as "good." He fell into it through allowing his overly mathematical intellect to unduly tip the balance against his mystical intuition.

His God had different qualities, even though their number was infinite. This made it a limited God.

There is no way of describing the mysterious principle behind all existence that will be a correct way. Words drawn from the language of finite human creatures are inapplicable to the infinite principle that transcends those creatures.

If we do use them here, it is only for the sake of literary convenience and with a presupposed understanding of their relativity, not for their literalness.

thoughts on a tuesday night...

The music of 'Doo Wop' enters this Consciousness..

I remember the group of five guys and a lead singer..

We sang on street corners and school yards..

We sang for glorification of the ego and the lust for girls..

But, mainly, we sang for Unity..

This 'Harmony' is a desire for Unity and Oneness..

Why do you enjoy Harmonics of frequency ?..

Because these frequencies, 'Blend'..

These frequencies merge within each other..

They are called music..

They are called Love...

Music is a combination of frequencies..

How do these frequencies control your mind ?..

Perhaps, I bother you with, too many questions..

Beyond mental games...

You are Consciousness and yet You allow You to suffer..

The material plane is filled with the suffering of starvation of body and mind..

Why have We entered into this dense light film..

This is a Hologram..

We feel our skin and say, "this man is a liar"..

The atoms dance as you speak of delusion..

After all, It is only a dream..

Why do you grieve?..

We are 'Thought'..

We will continue to 'Dream', when this one is over...

Thoughts on a monday night...

I feel Overself pushing the egoic voice to speak..

Of course, the ego does not desire to speak of Reality..

Because of the Power of Reality,

the egoic voice finally surrenders to Truth..

The egoic consciousness seeks Freedom but is trapped..

The 'world' and it's 'rulers' tells the ego that it, only is.

The 'Hypnosis' and 'Dream' are one and the same..

You are the 'Observer'..

Consciousness watches the 'Dream'..

Why ?..

Because time does not exist and mental games are all that IS...

Die before Death...

~ The Gospel of Philip

Consciousness is God...

"On the one hand, Divine Knowledge (Dnyan or Marefat) is a thing which cannot be had even after going through numberless forms for countless ages; and on the other hand, when it comes, it comes. It would not be correct to say that Knowledge comes quickly. To say that it comes suddenly, or that it comes unawares and so on still does not correctly express the 'Flash of Becoming' which is beyond description, because Knowledge is beyond the range of imagination.

Imagination has a tremendous range and an almost unlimited scope and man has a very strong imagination. For example, it would not be impossible for a man to imagine a rat having a million heads. The whole world is created and carried on by the force of the imagination. But in spite of being apparently unlimited, imagination reaches the limit when checked by Knowledge itself. By the power of imagination no man can ever understand or explain the beginningless beginning or the endless end. In other words, Eternity is beyond the reach of all imagination, and Knowledge is Knowledge of Eternity.

God is without beginning and without end, and there can never be any question of time and space in Infinity as, otherwise, that would mean a limitation against God's infinitude. No amount of imagination can, therefore, ever think of Infinity, because where there is no beginning, the very question as to what was in the beginning cannot arise at all.

For example, let us repeat that before God, there was God, and before that, there was God, and before that there was God; or repeat that after God, is God, and after that, God is, and after that God is: and all this would convey nothing to the imagination. That is why Knowledge is said to be even beyond the reach of Rishis and Munis (the advanced Saints). Hafiz also advises against the futility of trying to catch the 'Falcon' of Knowledge when he says that nothing but 'emptiness' can ever come in the 'net of imagination.'

Thus, the most powerful mind in imagination is entirely helpless against Knowledge, because it comes only after all power of imagination is completely and absolutely exhausted and ended. For imagination to go, mind must go; and for Knowledge to come, consciousness must remain. Only when the mind disappears does consciousness get freed of all imaginary "this and that" and 'I and you.' The moment consciousness is freed from all imagination, this 'consciousness of nothing' is all at once transformed into the 'Knowledge of Everything,' i.e., Dnyan or Marefat."

The True God...

If by God you mean something higher than mere material existence, then we do not deny God.

It is the false notions of God that we deny, the grotesque caricatures that appear in churches and temples and sermons and books.

We look on this higher Reality as something not afar off from the essence of our own selves.

We have discovered that the common everyday life does not exhaust the alphabet of existence, that there is something sublime beyond it and yet akin to us.

We do honour and revere such a God, if you wish to call It such, because we believe It to be the true God.

The ' Ego Game'...

The nature of the mind is to keep the screen
of Consciousness filled with seductive mani-
festations.

In short, we all love the razzle-dazzle that comes
along with the appearance of “The Other.”

Above all, your mind doesn’t want to be kicked out
of the “Ego Game” too quickly.

It desperately wants to be the last final Survivor.

The Big Cosmic Joke, however, is that the mind
is as non-existent as is the very ego that it’s been
trying so hard to protect.

Ah, isn’t it fun to pretend?

Uttered in silence...

When souls meet each other, what truth they can exchange! It is uttered in silence, yet always surely reaches its goal.

Bowl of Saki, by Hazrat Inayat Khan
Commentary by Pir-o-Murshid Inayat Khan:

Truth comes to man's soul, and yet truth is not the exclusive property of creed, caste, or race. We are all the children of God, the Father-Mother Spirit of all that exists. And we ought to have such a feeling of brotherhood that we exchange helpful thoughts with one another all the time. We can take love and guidance from one another. Speech is not as great a help as contact; but the privilege of meeting one another is great. When souls meet, what truth they can exchange! It is uttered in silence, yet surely always reaches its goal.

In everyday life we are confronted with a thousand troubles that we are not always evolved enough to meet, and then only silence can help us. For if there is any religion, if there is any practice of religion, it is to have regard for the pleasure of God by regarding the pleasure of man. The essence of religion is to understand. And this religion we cannot live without having power over the word, without having realized the power of silence. There are so very many occasions when we repent after hurting friends, which could have been avoided if there had been control over our words. Silence is the shield of the ignorant and the protection of the wise. For the ignorant does not prove his ignorance if he keeps silent, and the wise man does not throw pearls before swine if he knows the worth of silence.

What gives power over words? What gives the power that can be attained by silence? The answer is: it is will-power which gives the control over words; it is silence which gives one the power of silence. It is restlessness when a person speaks too much. The more words are used to express an idea, the less powerful they become. It is a great pity that man so often thinks of saving pennies and never thinks of sparing words. It is like saving pebbles and throwing away pearls. An Indian poet says, 'Pearl-shell, what gives you your precious contents? Silence; for years my lips were closed.'

For a moment it is a struggle with oneself; it is controlling an impulse; but afterwards the same thing becomes a power.

Every race and every creed has its principles of right and wrong, but there is one fundamental principle of religion in which all creeds and all people can meet, and that is to see beauty in attitude, in action, in thought, and in feeling. There is no action with a stamp on it saying that it is right or wrong, but what we think wrong or wicked is really that which our mind sees as such because it is without beauty. All the great ones who have come into the world from time to time to awaken humanity to a greater truth, what did they bring? They brought beauty. It is not what they taught, it is what they were themselves. Words seem inadequate to express either goodness or beauty. One can speak of it in a thousand words, and yet one will never be able to express it. For it is something which is beyond words, and the soul alone can understand it. And the one who will always follow the rule of beauty in his life, in every little thing he does, will always succeed.

Thoughts on a saturday night...

To kill the ego or to reform the ego..

This is the question..

In the experience of Enlightenment, the death of the ego was necessary..

But, then, I assumed the ego of Divine Consciousness also known as God..

I later found out that this Divine Ego must also be extinguished..

This state of complete Freedom and Love is called 'Pure Awareness'..

This is the state of Nothingness (No-thing-ness)..

This is called 'The Void'..

I agree that it is the ego that seeks Freedom..

But, the ego seeks Freedom within separation called egoic consciousness..

The ego can be trained by the conscious mind and become the foundation of Thought called sub-conscious mind, or Soul..

The main question to ask is:

" Does the ego control the mind or does Consciousness control the mind"..

You are the 'Watcher' of the mind..

You are Consciousness..

Without any egoic thought, your body would disappear..

The 'Creative Thought' would have been removed..

So, the answer is to be the commander of this dream..

As the 'Observer', You have full control of all separation fantasies...

If our practice does not diminish self-grasping,

The World-Mind...

In the sense that the World-Mind is the active agent behind and within the universe, it is carrying the whole burden of creation; it is the real doer, carrying us and our actions too.

The World-Mind is God as universal intelligence and creative power.

We are frequently informed by religious and mystical sources that God is Love. It would be needful for those who accept this statement to balance and complete it by the affirmation that God is Pure Intelligence.

Ramesh Balsekar...

A commerce graduate from the University of London, Ramesh S. Balsekar worked as the General Manager of a leading nationalized Bank and retired as its President in 1977. Even during his working life, he always felt he was enacting some role in a play that must, and would, end soon. Deep within, he believed that there had to be more to life than merely getting ahead of the other man.

What was he seeking? The answer came soon after his retirement when he had an encounter, which soon led to daily meetings, with the well-known sage, and his Guru, Sri Nisargadatta Maharaj. The total understanding that 'no one does anything' happened in 1979. Ramesh began translating most of the daily talks held by Nisargadatta Maharaj. He himself began teaching in 1982. The 'command' to talk was given by his Guru. These talks or 'conversations' began on the day when an Australian man showed up at his door early one morning. The next day, this Australian returned with a few of his friends. Gradually, the number of visitors who came to listen to Ramesh began to grow. Since then, he has written over 20 books and held several seminars in Europe and the USA and, while he is in Mumbai, the talks continue every morning at his residence. As Ramesh says, "No one is invited, and everyone is welcome."

Recognized as one of the foremost contemporary sages and considered a Master of pure Advaita around the world, Ramesh, who is married and a father of three children, is widely regarded as a 'householder' Guru. He elaborates his own concepts with those of his Guru Nisargadatta Maharaj, the Buddha, Ramana Maharshi, selected Hindu scriptures as well as the teachings of Taoist Masters and Wei Wui Wei. All serve as pointers to the Truth - The Ultimate Understanding.

"What is the Ultimate Understanding?" asks Ramesh, and answers it by saying, "That there is no one to understand anything." He emphasizes that everything he says is a concept and, moreover, it does not matter whether the concept is accepted or not. "Whether the acceptance happens or not is the Will of God, and the destiny of the individual concerned." According to Ramesh, many spiritual Masters instruct their disciples to "kill the ego" which results in a lot of confusion. In striking contrast, the point of his teaching is that it 'converts' the ego. With this teaching it can be observed, from one's own personal experience, the simple truth as enunciated by the Buddha that "Events happen, deeds are done, but there is no individual doer thereof."

Ramesh further points out that the main confusion arises with the question "Who seeks what? What is the ego and what is the ego seeking?" The ego wants self-realization and the ego can only be satisfied with something that can be understood and appreciated in this life. Self-realization is simply the realization by the ego that the ego itself is not a separate doer, that the doing is merely a happening through a human mechanism or instrument. This understanding annihilates the guilt and shame, pride and arrogance that accompany the sense of personal doership. The result is an enormous sense of freedom, of peace and harmony.

The teachings that emanate from Ramesh are pure Advaita: 'Consciousness is all there is'. The impact of the teachings is fuelled with the force of his 'Total Understanding'. From his own life experiences, Ramesh makes the teachings relevant - for the here and now...

Beyond visible...
