the paradox of Self-Realization...

The ‘I’ casts off the illusion of ‘I’ and yet remains as ‘I’.

Such is the paradox of Self- Realization.

The realized do not see any contradiction in it.

A paradox is:.
Example: Statement A: A is false.
Here let R be Statement A. R = !R
This is a contradiction.

Now, applying it to Ego and Self
Ego = subset(Self)
Self = superset(Ego)
I do not see a paradox in this.

But here, such is not the case as we know that , Self is the cause of ego but Ego is not the cause of Self. Therefore clearly, we do not know why the self should cast off Ego and the Ego purposefully created to not know its cause.
If the realized do not see any contradictions, that means they know why the Self has created the Ego. Since Ramana cannot explain why the Ego not know its origins, he just stops with his experience of a concept called Self.
