Isness...

Ego and mind and all creations arise out
of Self as Self.

Even the ugliest of doubts
and the most separate of differences rise
from the Beautiful Source as Isness.

In
Self there are no do's and don'ts.

If there
is unhappiness you are not unhappy, you
are the Untouched Awareness of this
unhappiness.

As waves are not separate
from Ocean, nor rays from sun, you are not
separate from Existence.

You are the
moment in which all is.

"The Truth Is"
Sri H.W.L. Poonja
Yudhishtara, 1995

For It is God...

Students draw back affrighted at the concept of a great void which leaves them nothing, human or divine, to which they may cling. How much the more will they draw back, not from a mere concept, but from an actual experience through which they must personally pass!

Yet this is an event, albeit not the final one on the ultimate ultramystic path, which they can neither avoid nor evade. It is a trial which must be endured, although to the student who has resigned himself to acceptance of the truth whatever face it bears--

who has consequently comprehended already the intellectual emptiness of both Matter and Personality--

this experience will not assume the form of a trial but rather of an adventure.

After such a rare realization, he will emerge a different man. Henceforth he will know that nothing that has shape, nobody who bears a form, no voice save that which is soundless can ever help him again.

He will know that his whole trust, his whole hope, and his whole heart are now and forevermore to be surrendered unconditionally to this Void which mysteriously will no longer be a Void for him.

For it is God...

I find myself in strange places...

I am looking at the largest Buddha Statue in the western hemisphere and yet I am looking down upon this manifestation from a distance..

I find myself within Hindu and Hebrew ceremonies and feel related to this desire for Love..

There is no difference..

There is a yearning for Freedom and Love..

Many of the mis-informed, honor the statues and visions of saints..

Duality has a strong platform..

But, We that are Awake see further..

We see dreams of materializations that humans build to represent reality..

We see what they are trying to relate to..

This is why we participate within these religions and philosophies..

We see where they are lost, but, we also see what they seek..

We deny nothing...

Thanksgiving...

We leave the remembrance of 'Thanksgiving'..

We thank the Native Americans and Divine Consciousness that our lives continue..

We are called Puritans, because we seek to purify the soul..

We left England because they would force us to honor the king over God..

We find ourselves in a cold and savage land filled with pain and death..

The Natives find love within themselves to save us..

How shall we repay them?..

Alas, we repay them with death and destruction..

After all, we are ego..

we are selfishness..

But, We have Awakened..

We are Love..

There is no more to say...

ONLY A DREAM by Van Morrison

What are you seeking?...

So many come and go..

Seekers, that seek the Truth of the existence of life..

You see words that you do not understand..

You see ideas that seem foolish to you..

Have you not examined your reality?..

What are you?..

A species upon the earth..

A soul within the mind..

A heart within Love..

Who are you?..

You spend your life searching for Love from another human..

Why?..

Why is this search so important to you?..

The answer is found within the words of this blog, but how many will contemplate upon these words..

Tomorrow is another day, I will see you then...

The Truth of Karma...

Karma is , Cause and Effect, or what is written that "you will reap what you sow"..

This is correct as long as You remain in the illusion that You are a separate entity called ego..

This illusion of ego continues beyond the body and into the higher dimensions as long as You continue to dream of separation from Source..

Therefore, the continuous prison of Karma only exists for those that believe that they are an entity of separate self..

This is why Gautama the Buddha said that He found the path to the end of Karma..

This end of Karma and suffering is called the surrender of the dream of ego and the Awakening into the Reality of Light, Love, and Consciousness..

There is one more step beyond this, but, this is enough to know for now...

He has no name...

In the beginning was He alone, sufficient unto Himself:
The formless, colourless, and unconditioned Being.

Then was there neither beginning, middle, nor end;
Then were no eyes, no darkness, no light;
Then were no ground, air, nor sky; no fire, water, nor earth;
No rivers like the Ganges and the Jumna, no seas, oceans, and waves.

Then was neither vice nor virtue;
Scriptures there were not, as the Vedas and Puranas, nor as the Koran.

Kabir ponders in his mind and says, "Then was there no activity:
The Supreme Being remained merged in the unknown depths of His own self."

The Guru neither eats nor drinks, neither lives nor dies:
Neither has He form, line, colour, nor vesture.

He who has neither caste nor clan nor anything else --

How may I describe His glory?

He has neither form nor formlessness,
He has no name,
He has neither colour nor colourlessness,
He has no dwelling-place.

The Divine Darkness...

The final grade of inner experience, the deepest phase of contemplation,

is one where the experiencer himself disappears, the meditator vanishes,

the knower no longer has an object--not even the Overself--to know for duality collapses.

Because this grade is beyond the supreme "Light" experience

where the Overself reveals its presence visually as a dazzling mass,

shaft, ball, or ray of unearthly radiance which is seen whether the bodily eyes are open or closed,

it has been called the divine darkness..

one great delusion...

There's one great delusion that lies at the core
of all of our suffering:

the false belief in the reality
of the separation of life and in the subsequent
true existence of an individual ego.

All fervent attempts to control or to mortify this

that this ego is actually very real and that it only
needs to be, somehow, subdued, conquered or

" It is This "...

We must withdraw every thing and thought from the mind except this single thought of trying to achieve the absence of what is not the Absolute.

This is called Gnana Yoga: "Neti, Neti" (It is not this), as Shankara called it.

And he must go on with this negative elimination until he reaches the stage where a great Void envelops him.

If he can succeed in holding resolutely to this Void in sustained concentration--

and he will discover it is one of the hardest things in the world to do so--

he will abruptly find that it is not a mere mental abstraction but something real, not a dream but the most concrete thing in his experience.

Then and then only can he declare positively, "It is This." For he has found the Overself..

Opposites...

“That all opposites—such as mass and energy, subject and object, life and death—are so much each other that they are perfectly inseparable, still strikes most of us as hard to believe.

But this is only because we accept as real the boundary line between the opposites.

It is, recall, the boundaries themselves which create the seeming existence of separate opposites.

To put it plainly, to say that "ultimate reality is a unity of opposites" is actually to say that in ultimate reality there are no boundaries.

Anywhere.”

Listen to the Heart...

"Mr. Samuel, be specific!

Exactly what action is required?

Church activity? Prayer? Healing? Self-immolation?"

Here is the answer:

our first action is the effortless turning within to the Self

to listen to the Heart.

This is it. This is all!

Here is the unadorned Truth,

stripped of the ego's covering

of abstruseness and intellectualism.

Truth is simple.

It is always simple.

The Truth is easy and uncomplicated.

It is tender and effortlessly available.

Its location is not limited to the great libraries,

nor to universities, temples and cathedrals.

Truth, and the honest statements about it,

are simplicity itself.

It is found within the heart,

within the Self,

here and now.

For years we have gone outside

to teachers, leaders, and holy books,

when the entire universe of Truth

has been within us all the while.

It confirmation is found nowhere else.

Where?

Within the Heart!

Here!

Now!

...............

The above William Samuel quotes are from the book
Experience Your Perfect Soul.

It is time to leave the dream...

It is still cold and yet the coal of the earth keeps this body alive..

The body and soul requires warmth and solitude..

And yet, I speak to thousands..

What a strange experience..

And still, I know that I am speaking to myself..

We believe that We are separate and with different thoughts..

We are the same..

The same Desires and Ignorance..

We pretend for the purpose of learning and entertainment..

Why do We then contend with Evil and Pain?..

Perhaps, because We know that it is all an illusion and exists with the pain that ends upon the Awakening of Consciousness..

A bad dream..

Once We Awaken into Reality, We see the dreams as only thoughts that once existed and are no longer present..

We see the Spiritual Masters, tortured and killed for speaking of Reality..

We honor them and yet we sink into ignorance..

It is time to leave the dream..

Identity of Self...

Identity Exercise:

He will not have to struggle as on the Long Path.

There will no more be irksome effort.

The mind will be glad to rest in this positive state,

if he holds from the very beginning the faith that it already is accomplished,

that the aspiration toward it is being fulfilled now, not at some unknown distant time.

Such an attitude engenders something more than pleasant feelings of hope and optimism:

it engenders subconscious power.

We come close to the festival of 'Thanksgiving'..

These were Christians that refused to join the 'Church of England' and fled for their lives..

They were saved by non-Christians called Native Americans..

Is it not strange to see that non-Christians would show more love than Christians?..

This historical lesson is to show you that organized religion is a part of the 'Matrix' of power, wealth, and fame for the leaders of these organizations..

These organizations can lead few to Freedom, they are part of the problem of slavery..

You are alone on the path to Freedom..

We can only point the way to the Door..

You must knock..

"Knock, and the Door shall be opened"..

What is this Door that Mystics speak of?..

It is the Door between Illusion and Reality..

The only Key that can unlock this Door is called 'Egoic Surrender'..

Humility is it's Lock..

Go and Love first...

Reason is learned from the ever changing world, but true knowledge comes from the essence of life.

Bowl of Saki, by Hazrat Inayat Khan
Commentary by Pir-o-Murshid Inayat Khan:

Knowledge and heart quality must be developed together. ... Without a developed love quality, man is incapable of having that knowledge. There are fine lights and shades in one's life that cannot be perceived and fully understood without having touched the deeper side of life, which is the devotional side.

The person who has never in his life been wholly grateful cannot know what it is. He who has not experienced humility in life does not know its beauty. The one who has not known gentleness or modesty cannot appreciate its beauty or recognize it. ...

The heart must be open too. A very intellectual man went to Jami and asked him to take him as his pupil and give him initiation. Jami looked at him and said, 'Have you ever loved anybody?' This man said, 'No, I have not loved.' Then Jami said, 'Go and love first, then come to me and I will show you the way.'

Wisdom is that which is learned from within, and intellect is that which is acquired from without. The source of wisdom is above, the source of intellect is below. And therefore it is not the same method, it is not the same process one adopts in order to attain wisdom as that which one adopts in order to acquire intellect.

There are people who look at life through their brain, their head, and there are others who look at life through their heart. Between these two points of view there is a vast difference;

so much difference that something that one person can see on the earth the other sees in heaven, something that one sees as small the other sees as great, of something that one sees as limited the other sees the unlimitedness. These two persons become opposite poles;

it is as if one is looking at the sky, the other at the earth.

I Am That...

Quotes from I Am That, by Nisargadatta Maharaj

“All separation, every kind of estrangement and alienation is false. All is one—this is the ultimate solution of every conflict.”

“You are not in the body. The body is in you.”

“The way to truth lies through the destruction of the false. To destroy the false, you must question your most inveterate beliefs. Of these the idea that you are the body is the worst. ...Realize that what you are cannot be born nor die and with the fear gone all suffering ends.”

“You are so accustomed to think of yourselves as bodies having consciousness that you just cannot imagine consciousness as having bodies. Once you realize that bodily existence is but a state of mind, a movement in consciousness, that the ocean of consciousness is infinite and eternal, and that, when in touch with consciousness, you are the witness only, you will be able to withdraw beyond consciousness altogether.”

“You need not reach out for what is already with you. Your very reaching out makes you miss it. Give up the idea that you have not found it and just let it come into the focus of direct perception, here and now, by removing all that is of the mind.”

“See that you are not what you believe yourself to be. Fight with all the strength at your disposal against the idea that you are nameable and describable. You are not. Refuse to think of this or that. There is no other way out of misery, which you have created for yourself through blind acceptance without investigation. Suffering is a call for inquiry, all pain needs investigation. Don’t be lazy to think.”

“Believe me, there is no goal, nor a way to reach it. You are the way and the goal, there is nothing else to reach except yourself. All you need is to understand and the understanding is the flowering of the mind.”

A Saturday Night...

Snow falls in november and with a chill that the body is not prepared for..

The sky is dark with clouds and the moon hides behind this veil..

The mind continues the thoughts of sensory perception..

The soul continues to ask; " Where is Freedom"?..

I sit in silence and continue to view the illusions of mind..

The television casts it's Light and sound within the rooms..

How can I think and yet observe the nonsense of media ?..

I see the illusion of body and earth from a distance and yet I still enter the dream..

How long to the end of the dream?..

How long does a body last?..

We hold it together with stitches and screws..

The Soul shouts that enough is enough!..

The Archons shout back that you will never be Free !..

Divine Consciousness speaks lightly and says; " Do not believe lies,

darkness and evil are a dream and will be left within a memory that fades quickly,

only Reality exists"...

Address to our International Leadership

Then alone will you see Truth...

“Never say, "O Lord, I am a miserable sinner."

Who will help you? You are the help of the universe. What in this universe can help you?

What can prevail over you? You are the God of the universe; where can you seek for help?

Never help came from anywhere but from yourself.

In your ignorance, every prayer that you made and that was answered, you thought was answered by some Being, but you answered the prayer yourself unknowingly. The help came from yourself, and you fondly imagined that someone was sending help to you.

There is no help for you outside of yourself; you are the creator of the universe.

Like the silkworm, you have built a cocoon around yourself. Who will save you? Burst your own cocoon and come out as a beautiful butterfly, as the free soul.

Then alone you will see Truth.”

The Reality of the Void...

The would-be-illumined person must conform to the double action of nature in him: to the outgoing and incoming breaths.

So his illumination, when it happens, must be there and here: in the mind and in the body.

The two together form the equilibrium of the double life we are called upon to live: that is, being in the world and yet not being of it.

In the prolongation of the expiring breath we not only get rid of negative thought but also of the worldliness, the materialism, of keeping to the physical interests alone.

With the incoming breath we draw positive, inspiring remembrance of the divine hidden in the Void. Hence we are there in the mind and here in the body.

We recognize the truth of eternity, the act in time.

We see the reality of the Void, yet know that the entire Universe comes forth from it.

Above subject and object...

Studies In Comparative Philosophy
by Swami Krishnananda..

Plotinus:

Plotinus, the celebrated mystic, comes nearest in his views to the Vedanta philosophy, and is practically in full agreement with the Eastern sages, both in his theory and his methodology.

His system is called Neoplatonism, as it consummates the philosophy of Plato in a highly developed mysticism. To Plotinus, God or the Absolute is the All.

The diversities of the world are grounded in the Absolute, though the Absolute is above all contradictions and differences. It is the first causeless Cause, and the world emanates from It as an overflow of its Perfection.

We cannot define God, for definition is limitation to certain attributes. All logical, ethical and aesthetic principles, truth, goodness and beauty, are incapable of representing Him in His true greatness.

Nothing can be said of the essential Reality of God, and what we can give at the most is a negative description of His Being. He is beyond being and non-being, beyond all concepts, notions and perceptions.

He is above thinking, feeling and willing, above subject and object, above all conceivable principles and categories. He cannot even be called a Self-conscious Being, for this implies duality.

Partless Bliss...

In the silence is the highest peace
because wavering is the intellect's unreal work;
there the knowers of the Eternal,

mighty-souled,
enjoy unbroken happiness of partless bliss,

recognizing the Self as the Eternal.

There is no higher cause of joy than silence
where no mind-pictures dwell;

it belongs to him who has understood the Self's own being;
who is full of the essence of the bliss of the Self.

Through unwavering ecstasy
is clearly understood the reality of the Eternal,

fixed and sure.

This cannot be when other thoughts are confused with it,
by the motions of the mind.

Beyond anything...

Whatever thought comes,
whatever sensation arises,
I am already beyond it.

I stand eternally
beyond anything and everything
that comes and goes.

Know that all divisions are the imagination of the mind;
resolve not to be subjected to the mind.

Insist that you must know and realize the Self permanently.

Pure Consciousness,
the infinite ocean of Existence , Peace and Bliss
is here now as your real Self and true Nature.

Now there is really nothing but this ocean of Love ,
and you are one with it.

No dualism,

no separation,

no otherness –

just this unconditioned love, peace and bliss.

Do not settle for anything less.

Resolve to be vigilant,
to catch yourself again and again
whenever you are out of this experience.

This is your Home, your Reality.

Let not the mind deceive you away from it.

Let nothing interfere with it.

If you find yourself in some other level of experience,
return yourself to where you belong, namely,
into Love, Oneness, Blessedness, changeless Identity.

The constant, continuous, flawless,
perfect flow of Oneness, Wholeness, and Perfection.

You and I belong into this.

First, the student proves to himself, by following the master's guidance, that the ego is fictitious and illusory.

Second, he concentrates diligently on Short Path meditation techniques to dig beneath the ego and escape from it.

Third, he proves to himself the fact of Nonduality, that there is only the One Mind's existence.

All humans seek happiness..

All humans seek happiness..

this is truly the only goal
that is Universal..

But no matter how selfish and evil they are,

they
still seek the incredible feeling of Love through their
family,friends, and even animals..

They therefore realize, even
faintly, that Love is Happiness even if they try to find Happiness
through power and money..

This knowledge of Happiness is found within
the sub-conscious mind, which is your direct link to Universal
Consciousness, which many call God..

the sub-conscious mind is also
called "The Soul", as it forgets nothing and never sleeps..

When, you
have had a "Mystical Experience" of reuniting with God (yourself),
you then realize that Love is God, and you are Love..

Since God is
everything, you realize that you are part of everything and
therefore part of God, with the same creative abilities..

At this
time, you have created the "false ego", and it is time to end this
illusion and return to your Real Self, that which is called Love Consciousness...

Let's speak about Death...

Death is the word that most humans fear..

They fear what they do not understand..

Death is as natural as birth..

Is it not strange to hear both birth and death as equal?..

Let us laugh at both..

They are both illusions..

Is the pain of life so important that you would beg for it to continue?..

It is the fear of the unknown that keeps you in pain..

This is why these words are before you..

These words are to lessen the pain of ignorance..

These words are from an illusion and dream that is actually yourself..

Is it not strange to learn so much in such a short time?..

Continue to have a conversation with your self...

The Nature of the Self...

Knowing aright the nature of the Self
and abandoning the non-self as void, unreal, is wisdom true.

All other knowledge is ignorance, and not wisdom.

Even like a dream this waking world
is but a mind-conceived appearance in mind space.

Hence greatness lies in firmly ending indicative knowledge
and the folly of fondness for outer objects.

Knowledge is manifold, say they who know objects,
but not freedom from the dire delusion of differences.

When the senses five, driven outward by desire are pulled back, then true, full Awareness comes,
and there is no "other" to be known.

Those whom from books have learnt about the truth supreme esteem themselves supreme in wisdom,
and fail to seek the knower and taste the bliss of Self,
but test and measure the silent sage.

What folly this!

"Mine is the only mind amenable to my correction."

If one forgets this truth and broods o'er others' faults
one only fouls one's own mind more and more.

Only he who has attained immortal life can save the world.

For the ignorant one to help another
is but the blind leading the blind.

One has to blame oneself alone
if one should try to teach the Truth supreme
to those who are immature.

These might reject the highest Truth as false
because it contradicted what they had been told before
and had believed as true.

The Seer...

Do not get confused by abandoning the state of clarity, the swarupa perspective,

and then pursue appearances, taking them to be real.

That which appears will disappear, and hence it is not real,

but the true nature of the one who sees never ceases to exist.

Know that it alone is real.

Souls gather in this space...

I have noticed that souls in many countries of the world, including many small countries are reading this blog..

This Awakening into the deeper knowledge of mysticism is spreading..

The religions of a jealous and vengeful god are being replaced by wisdom and love..

Does God have a religion ?..

I have to laugh at this question..

The only religion of God is Truth..

This is why, you have been sent here..

There is no philosophy or religion that is honored above any other in this space..

We only seek Truth, wherever it hides..

In each religion and philosophy, is the deepest level of Wisdom called Mysticism..

This is the direct experience of Union with Source..

This is why you are here and reading these words..

Continue your journey within these words of confusion until You are no longer confused..

This is the state of Enlightenment..

This is Reality..

This is Love...

Love cannot be separated...

"We cannot separate our love for God from our love for man.

We acknowledge God easily, but our brother?

Those with whom we do not identify in his background, education, race, complexion.

We could not have imagined that love for God could be so hard."

Fully Awake Awareness...

Someone may imply to others that they are a "sage" or "jnani" and may even sincerely believe that they are such and may be able to talk about it in a very convincing and 'enlightened sounding' manner. But there is a certain classical criteria for discerning such a claim that they may have forgotten or may have never been aware of, and that all the reputable teachers and sages of India speak of at some length.

In the estimation and experience of these genuine "jnanis", when one fully wakes up to pure awareness and has an abiding realization of the supreme Self, the essence of this realization is that pure awareness is ever awake, 24/7, and does not go back to sleep at all.

This is true when the body is awake in ordinary waking life, it is true in the dream state, (this is called lucid dreaming, in which one is lucid and aware during dreams and one knows consciously that he/she is in a dream while they are in it), and it is true even in the state of deep sleep in which the body, the world, self and others are not present and only pure consciousness/awareness is present and aware of itself.

Of course when this is happening in deep, dreamless sleep, there is no thinking faculty present either and so, no power of reflection is possible. So one can never reflect on how "neat" it is that one is aware and witnessing sleep during deep dreamless sleep.

But when one 'wakes up' from deep sleep, either into the waking state or into the dream state, one is perfectly aware that they were perfectly aware during sleep and can then reflect on this fact. But while actually in the state of deep, dreamless sleep itself, no thinking or reflecting ability is present, because the only perception then is awareness aware of itself alone.

No matter how "enlightened" one may feel or believe themselves to be, if awareness is not fully awake and conscious in all the 3 states of waking, dreaming, and deep sleep, then one is mistaken about this sense or feeling of spiritual attainment, no matter how strong...

The Metaphysics of Sleep...

Locke, gave high but justified testimony when he declared that “the thoughts that come often unsought, and, as it were, drop into the mind, are commonly the most valuable of any we have.”

The intuition offers in a single emphatic flash that which the intellect may arrive at only as the last result of many long continued reflections and many different physical experiences.

Where reason cannot think out the right solution of a perplexity, intuition can step triumphantly forward with an immediate presentation of it.

Reasoning is self conscious, active and inquisitive whereas intuition is spontaneous, receptive and passive. An intuition need have no logical connection with former thinking.

Hence it may open up an entirely new horizon on that particular subject.

This we may now easily understand because we have already granted the mind a power to be active in its own mysterious way, which enables it to dispense with thinking and yet send up its results to the surface consciousness.

Only Lovers can escape...

"There is no salvation for the soul
But to fall in Love.
It has to creep and crawl
Among the Lovers first.

The Highest Peace...

In the silence is the highest peace

To the Leaders of this World...

I know that many of you read these words..

You, that are called Kings and Presidents..

You have come here because you desire Truth..

It is that simple..

You are humans and yet, you find that others tell you to kill humans..

What a position to be within..

What will you do?..

You of different skin color, or religion, what will you do?..

Does skin color or religion matter?..

Of course, it does not matter..

You are killing parts of God..

It is that simple..

Who are You?..

Are you to listen to your Heart, or to those that desire to control you?..

You know the Truth..

It is time to Awaken..

May God be within You, the future of humanity lies within your mind and soul...

namaste, thomas

I see the unreal...

I find myself in a laughing condition to experience life..

I see the phony governments of the world seeking to control all humans..

I see the death of most of the humans planned by these powers..

Too many humans to control by propaganda and lies..

We sit and watch the events that are controlled..

Can we awaken to see reality?..

Is it too late to save the dream of humans?..

Who knows?..

Does it matter?..

The negative entities of this dream seem to think that it is important to control the humans..

This is called egoism..

egoism is the dream of non-reality..

It is a strange game that life plays..

The Elite of the world are lost in this game of control and remain imprisoned within this illusion..

we die and yet , We laugh at this Nightmare...

Let's be Real...

Let's be Real..

We can speak of philosophy, yoga, and spirituality and still be lost..

I am here for a short time and will not return..

I know who I am and Realize that I am Not..

Is it not strange to hear from an illusion?..

It is Truth that I do not exist..

It is Truth that you do not exist..

Are you not frightened?..

Do not be..

It is all an illusion and dream..

Love does not dissolve..

ego is a dream of the opposite..

You are not ego, You are the opposite of ego,

You are Love...

See You, within the Light...

The dual function of mind...

"The mind has a dual function, which I have explained at length in God Speaks. The first function is that of thinking. The impressions that lie dormant have to be worked out, and appear as thoughts. This thinking function of the mind is known to the Vedantists as mun [Hindi pronunciation, Sanskrit manas].

"The second function of the mind includes all feelings and emotions. This is called antakarana [in Sanskrit], which means the heart. So, what is known as the heart is actually the second functioning of the mind itself.

The impressions called sanskaras are spent through both thinking and feeling. In the first functioning of the mind, are thoughts of all kinds. In the second functioning of the mind, that is the heart, are all feelings and desires — feelings of joy, pain, disappointment, happiness, shock — belong to this antakarana (heart)."

This world of delusion...

This whole world of delusion is nothing but a shadow caused by the mind.

It is simply the mind clouded over by impure desires, and impervious to wisdom, that obstinately persists in thinking of “me” and “mine.”

The mind conjures up multifarious forms just as a skillful painter creates pictures of various worlds. There is nothing in the world that is not mind-created.

It is from ignorance and greed that the world of delusion is born, and all the vast complexity of coordinating causes and conditions exists within the mind and nowhere else.

Both life and death arise from the mind and exist within the mind. Hence, when the mind that concerns itself with life and death passes on, the world of life and death passes with it.

An unenlightened life rises from a mind that is bewildered by its own world of delusion. If we learn that there is no world of delusion outside the mind, the bewildered mind becomes clear; and because we cease to create impure surroundings, we attain Enlightenment.

The world of suffering is brought about by the deluded mortal mind.

I am a painter...

I am a painter,
Painting pictures all the time,
Yet when I set them near your beauty
I want to throw them all away.

I am a sculptor, carving images
and filling each with life,
Yet when I compare these with your beauty
I want to dump them in a fire.

O bringer of sweet wine,
Enemy of the sober,
You have laid waste to
every house I ever built!

My soul has merged with yours -
Water into water, wine into wine.
Now there is only love
and the scent of your rose perfume.

Every drop of my blood calls out,
"Dye me with the color of your love.
Make me the jewel of your affection."

In this house of water and clay
my heart is in ruins.
O Beloved, don't leave this house
else it will crumble to the ground.

The Heart...

"The entire universe is condensed in the body and the entire body in the Heart. Thus the Heart is the nucleus of the whole universe. This world is not other than the mind, the mind is not other than the Heart; that is the whole truth.

"The source is a point without any dimensions. It expands as the cosmos on the one hand and as Infinite bliss on the other. That point is the pivot. From it a single vasana [impression] starts and expands as the experiencer ('I'), the experience and the experienced (the world).

"To Rama who questioned Vasishta: `Which is that big mirror in which all these are mere reflections? What is the heart of all souls or creatures in this universe?'

Vasishta replied: `All creatures in this universe have two kinds of hearts — one to be taken note of and the other ignored. Hear their respective traits: The one to be ignored is the physical organ called the heart which is situated in the chest as a part of the perishable body. The one to be taken note of is the Heart which is of the nature of consciousness. It is both inside and outside (us) and has neither an inside nor an outside.'"

Worshiping God...

The beginning of the journey of many souls is to show honor to the Creator..

This is the same feeling of Love that is shown to our creator of the body called Mother and Father..

To worship, is to hold within the mind a gratitude and love for something else..

But, this infers duality and creates a separation between Self..

The feeling of Joy that is experienced by the feeling of love is recognised only while in the state of non-egoic self, thus existing in the state of Self..

even if for only a short while..

Thus, worship is actually a mental block against Enlightenment..

Stop the duality, stop looking into the sky for help, just plain stop looking elsewhere..

there is no elsewhere,

there only "Is"..

This "Is" is closer than your own breath..

This "Is",.. You...

Who looks through your eyes ?...

We see the world and the desires of the mind through the eyes..

Desire, is always the main initiator of life..

We seek the life to exist through the desires of food, water, and warmth..

If We were Awake, We would see the struggles of the other entities that are pretending to be separate from Us..

This is called Empathy and Love..

Love is the Reality of non-egoic consciousness and is the Real Seer of Vision..

When We leave the illusion of body, We return to Sight that needs no eyes..

Only Consciousness..

Is it not Amazing to see without eyes ?..

And yet, it is True..

The eyes of humanity see only the Dream..

When You are beyond the Dream, Only Consciousness has Sight..

Consciousness sees the Dream and yet rests as Consciousness..

cessation of craving...

When one thoroughly investigates all this,
it is clearly seen that the pure consciousness alone exists
and nothing else.

It is beyond description.

At the end of the investigation utter silence alone remains.

The truth does not become clear in you
until it is heard again and again
and meditated upon again and again.

Enough of this confusing argumentation
concerning unity and diversity.

The hall-mark of enlightenment is cessation of craving.

When the latter is absent,
there is no enlightenment but scholasticity
which is in fact ignorance or viciousness.

This supreme truth is established only in total silence,
not by logic, discussion and argumentation.

Thus, O sage,
it is clear that Self-knowledge
is beyond the reach of the jugglery of words.

It is You, speaking to yourself and pretending to be another..

Is it not strange that a dream is speaking to you ?..

This world of illusions is a dream, why would you be surprised that a dream is speaking to you ?..

Is this not fun ?..

We have dreamed of this adventure to experience knowledge..

But, We have chosen Duality, and that is not fun..

Why do We seek the opposite of Love ?..

Perhaps, We seek to know more about Love..

We need a mirror to see Ourselves..

the inner unknown consciousness...

This subterranean consciousness has paradoxically and misleadingly been called the unconscious.

Every modern young undergraduate now knows that we possess an ‘unconscious mind’ thanks partly to the efforts of our Freudian friends.

Actually it is that wider consciousness of which ordinary consciousness is only a part.

We can hardly call that unconscious which contains in itself all the potentialities of consciousness.

The fact is that the consciousness which mind possesses actually surpasses both the lower and higher limits of cerebral consciousness.

For it is the inscrutable complex mind that projects this limited consciousness into wakefulness and withdraws it into sleep.

Nevertheless let it not be thought that there are a pair of minds, the one conscious and the other unconscious.

There exists but a single mind in us but viewed from our side it is conscious in a finite human way only.

Our kind of consciousness is a state, not a separate and different kind of mind.

Mind therefore is present even before the work of conscious thinking has begun.

It is the inner unknown consciousness.

The Inner Christ...

Jesus said, "Deny your 'self', take up your cross and follow me." (the Christ, the awake one, the pure awareness, within each of you)

There is an emptiness, a 'kenosis', an emptying out, which leads to fullness. And there is a fullness, a wealth, a possessing, that is utterly empty because the one who thinks they possess it is actually a fabrication. The fullness of God can never be acquired or possessed because this implies that it can be lost, and it can never really be lost because it exists already at the core of your heart....You can't ever lose it and never have lost it, but you can certainly overlook it, and probably have, if you are anything like most of us.

"The kingdom of God is within you." So you find it by looking 'within', by coming to see that it is always here and now, and not by seeking to 'acquire' anything at all (spiritual or material) from 'without'. It is not found by seeking to 'add' something to yourself that you now feel you lack. It is not gained anew. It is discovered. And when it is discovered you wonder how you could have ever possibly missed it before.

Jesus also said, "The first shall be last and the last shall be first" and, "If you seek to save your life, you shall lose it and if you lose your life for my sake (the inner Christ, pure awareness, your true nature) and for the sake of the kingdom of God, you shall find it."

The false self that we believe can acquire various spiritual or material riches and credentials is not actually such a big sacrifice, since it was never really real to begin with!

The secret of Character...

Receiving kindness from others only makes the recipient expect more.

He keeps saying, “He is doing this for his own benefit; he is not considering me; he is blaming me; he did not help me; he did not deal fairly with me.”

that he should become independent.

Therein lies the secret of character.

There are almost no spiritual teachings

Do not travel alone...

With no escort, you would be lost on a road you would have already taken.

Do not travel alone on the Path."

Rumi

Nobility of Soul...

The more elevated the soul, the broader the outlook.

Bowl of Saki, by Hazrat Inayat Khan
Commentary by Pir-o-Murshid Inayat Khan:

There are many different opinions how the condition of the world should be bettered:

some think by religious reform, some think by educational reform, and some think by social reform.

Every reform made with the idea of doing some good is worthwhile, but the reform most needed today is spiritual reform.

Today the hour has come when narrowness should be abandoned, in order to arise above those differences and distinctions which divide human beings.

The way to spirituality is the expansion and the widening of the heart.

In order to accommodate the divine Truth the heart must be expanded. With the expansion of the heart the divine bliss is poured out.

The eyes of the man who neglects his duty to his fellow men, absorbed in life's intoxication, will certainly become dazzled and his mind exhausted before the presence of God.

It does not mean that any soul will be deprived of the divine vision, it only means that the soul who has not learned to open his eyes wide enough will have his eyes closed before the vision of God.

All virtues come from a wide outlook on life, all understanding comes from the keen observation of life.

Nobility of soul, therefore, is signified in the broad attitude that man takes in life.

What makes ego disappear ?...

and All unreality will
disappear as the True Self becomes Predominant..

Holiness...

"Holiness is not an achievement, it is Grace. A Grace called Awareness,
a grace called Looking, Observing, Understanding. If you would only
switch on the light of awareness and observe yourself and everything
around you throughout the day, if you would see yourself reflected in
the mirror of awareness the way you see your face reflected in a looking
glass, that is, accurately, clearly, exactly as it is without the
slightest distortion or addition, and if you observed this reflection
without any judgment or condemnation, you would experience all sorts of
marvelous changes coming about in you. . . ."

". . . You will then understand that awareness involves as much effort
as a lover makes to go to his beloved, or a hungry man makes to eat his
food . . . . In other words, awareness is an effortless activity!"

"Will awareness bring you to the holiness you desire? Yes and no. The
fact is you will never know. For true holiness, the type that is not
achieved through techniques and efforts and repression, true holiness is
completely unselfconscious. You wouldn't have the slightest awareness
of its existence in you. Besides you will not care, for even the
ambition to be holy will have dropped as you live from moment to moment
a life made full and happy and transparent through awareness. It is
enough for you to be watchful and awake. For in this state your eyes
will see the Savior. Nothing else, but absolutely nothing else. Not
security, not love, not belonging, not beauty, not power, not holiness
-- nothing else will matter anymore."

Pure Mind Itself...

Consciousness of course would be a meaningless term for ordinary humans unless there were thoughts and images of which to be conscious.

Nor for a single moment does consciousness remain unoccupied.

It must ordinarily feed on something.

But we need not make the common mistake of believing that mental life completely exhausts itself in a particular form of conscious life, completely vanishes when there are no thoughts and no images.

For this kind of consciousness is only a state of mind and like all states necessarily contains the possibility of evanescence.

A break in consciousness such as sleep is a significant hint of the existence of some deeper principle that underlies it.

It must therefore not be confused with this principle, which is pure mind itself.

The Wisdom of the Overself, Chapter V, The Metaphysics of Sleep, "From the Conscious to the Unconscious”... Paul Brunton

In the Woodstock era...

There was a great wave of Love within these years that permeated the hearts of the humans..

I feared no strangers, I looked forward to meeting the unknown souls, as I knew that the energy of Love would be exchanged..

I slowly saw this love leave these years of unselfishness and egoic consciousness enter the dream of life..

What happened?..

A great question..

The heart of humanity became selfish and grasping..

Duality entered the stage between humans and Divinity..

You that grew up in the years after this event have no idea of the Power of Love that was present..

It was Divinity within the Creation..

A rare event..

Perhaps, we will enter this frequency of Love, once again..

Only God knows...

We stare at this light...

This light before you transmits knowledge..

You stare at this light, hoping to find the answer to existence..

You are the very few..

Most only seek entertainment..

A manner of keeping their minds full and satisfied..

Of course, this works for only a short time before the mind demands more..

This is why you are here..

Congratulations on your persistence upon the seeking of happiness..

You are wondering, what is this man speaking of ?..

Those that are advanced within consciousness, know of what I speak..

But, some that enter this door of curiousity are confused and seek the exit..

" Many are called, but few are chosen", said the Nazarene..

Are you one of the few ? ..

Only you know the answer..

If not now, when ?..

Perhaps, the next life will find you more willing..

Stay here, you have found the small door to Freedom...

The Veiling Effect...

The veiling effect only disappears

with full experience of Reality,

and the elimination of false knowledge

leads to the end of suffering

caused by that distraction.

There is no such thing as ignorance

beyond the thinking mind.

Thought itself is ignorance,

the cause of the bondage of becoming.

When thought is eliminated,

everything else is eliminated.

When thought increases everything else increases.

While the scholar does not overcome

his sense of `I am this' in the body and its faculties,

there is no liberation for him,

however much he may be learned in religion and philosophy.

Reality can be experienced

only with the eye of understanding,

not just by a scholar.

What the moon is like must be seen with one's own eyes.

How can others do it for you?

Speech alone, even a deluge of words,

with scholarship and skill in commenting on the scriptures,

may achieve some personal satisfaction but not liberation.

The tangle of words is a great forest

which leads the mind off wandering about,

so wise men should strive to get to know the truth

about their own nature.

The Seven Steps to Awakening.

" I am your Dream "...

Not only the body that I am using, is part of your Dream but all manifestation is also part of My Dream..

We walk around in hypnosis believing that we are separate manifestations of life and personality..

We believe that these illusions are real because we daily input this data of physical senses back into Consciousness..

If We control the thoughts of the mind into the Awakeness of Consciousness, We can stay above the Dream and remain as the Observer and not the observed illusion..

This is staying within the Mind of God..

As you already know, God is the name that we have given to the Love, Light, and Consciousness of Reality..

But, the Deepest Truth that is to be revealed to You as Consciousness, is that 'You' are also the 'Dream' of That which has no division called personality or ego..

This Pure Awareness has no personality called 'I' because it is Pure Love and contains no desires for Itself..

This is why separation is dreamed of, as an entertainment and learning of what 'Nothingness', Is..

Consciousness is Certain...

Nobody can arrive at the slightest comprehension of any object unless and until it enters his thinking, that is unless it is known as an idea.

Yet when we reduce things to their final terms as mental constructions, the result seems so alien to our sense of what Nature is that few will grant it!

Nothing is so self evident as the primacy and reality of consciousness, yet unfortunately nothing carries less conviction when first propounded!

But we cannot legitimately doubt its existence whatever else we may doubt.

We may fall into illusions about it but even illusions depend upon our being aware of them.

Hence, when we rise to the full stature of our reason, we must finally admit that consciousness is the one thing of whose reality we are most certain and of whose existence we are least doubtful.

That is Liberation...

I was not silent because I could not answer

but because silence is the only answer to your question.

All verbal statements (whether they are verbose or brief, whether their purport is subtle or transcendental)

are limited by logic, by duality and division.

The supreme Self is free from all notions.

Notions give rise to objects

and when the notions are abandoned

the objects cease to be.

Do not fall into the net of duality and non-duality, etc.

All such controversy and polemics

only lead to sorrow and despair.

When one pursues the unreal or impermanent,

there is sorrow.

When the conditioning of consciousness drops away,

there is no sorrow even as in (deep dreamless) sleep

there is no sorrow.

The consciousness that abandons conditioning

realizes its unconditioned nature.

That is liberation.

Listen to the Heart...

Inevitably, intellectual mankind complicates everything

and makes a mystery of truth.

In intellectual circles the idea is prevalent that

Reality is relative at best and can never really be known;

that all we can do is get closer to it – and that,

say the ministers, philosophers, theologians and educators,

takes years of study, prayer, self-immolation, self-denial,

suffering, toil and perhaps a death or two thrown in

for good measure. Malarky!

Reality is real, not relative,

and it can be discovered without labor!

Instead of effort, it is the tenderest labor of love;

it is happiness beyond belief;

it is reward that hasn't even been dreamt of!

For proof,

the first action is simply, quietly to turn within one's Self,

there to listen to the Heart,

where Truth is and where the answers are!

Experience Your Perfect Soul.

Only Love conquers Hate...

“He abused me, he beat me, he defeated me, he robbed me,” — in those who harbour such thoughts hatred will never cease.

“He abused me, he beat me, he defeated me, he robbed me,” — in those who do not harbour such thoughts hatred will cease.

For hatred does not cease by hatred at any time: hatred ceases by love, this is an old rule.

Gautama the Buddha

the world is a shadow...

The world of suffering is brought about by the deluded mortal mind..

Thoughts create the man...

Every man is where he is by the law of his
being;

the thoughts which he has built into
his character have brought him there,

and
in the arrangement of his life there is no
element of chance,

but all is the result of
a law which cannot err.

This is just as true
of those who feel "out of harmony" with their
surroundings as of those who are contented
with them.

Did Jesus Laugh ?...

According to the Gnostic writing about Jesus that were found in the urns,

Jesus walked into the room where the Apostles were saying a prayer to the Creator of the Universe, and Jesus began to laugh at them for their foolishness..

The Creator of the Universe is 'Us'..

The Source of the Creator is called 'Pure Awareness' and contains no personality or ego..

The Apostles had not yet comprehended this Truth ..

This is why Jesus laughed..

As a child says and does foolish things, the adult laughs at their behavior..

Is this to say that Jesus was unkind, or was foolishness something to laugh at?..

So now you know that Jesus , did indeed laugh at foolishness..

the World-Mind...

The universe is indeed an enchantment placed upon us by the World-Mind.

We are all enclosed within the scene set up by it but the scene itself is a thought-created one, the power which makes us feel its reality is a mental one and even the senses so bewitched are forms of consciousness.

Hence the operation of the cosmic upon the individual mind is nothing short of magic!

Those who scout the possibility of cosmic mind being able to present to the gaze and hold in the experience of its immense progeny of individual minds this great panoply of the universe should consider all the annals of proven cases of thought-transference, telepathic action, mystic visions, yogic magic and mesmeric phenomena.

If such things are possible among finite individual minds themselves how much more must it be possible for the cosmic mind to transfer its own great world-idea to us?

Thus if we examine our own narrow human life we may find there a revelation of the wider universal life.

The pain of the Long Path...

I read the words of many spiritual souls that speak of ascending into the Higher Dimensions and eventually reaching the Plane of God..

If it were not for my empathy, I would laugh..

They actually believe that they must climb a ladder to reach Themselves..

Why do they believe that they must suffer to Realize Reality ?...

Is it because, we have been taught that we are sinners and deserve pain for our sins ?..

Who knows ?..

To sin is to believe that You are separate from Love, and therefore you act in that manner..

That is all that it is!..

Karma is to remind you of this false belief..

So what is the answer ?..

Start to walk the 'Short Path" of Unity with Reality..

It is that simple..

The 'Short Path' is the elimination of the illusion of separation called ego, and the entrance into Reality, called Love..

Walk with me into the Awakening Process..

Paul Brunton: "Do you mean that one can continue all the old activities, in one's profession, for instance, and at the same time get Enlightenment?"

How to reach Enlightenment...

Enlightenment is Light...

Enlightenment comes from... ...light...

This light is not external...

This light is not something that comes from outside...

This light is the Light of... your inner Self... the light of your Consciousness...

...this Light is your Presence...

...this Light is your Totality... your Full Attention...

This totality is being ONE with what you do...

Enlightenment is the name given to that state...

...end of division...

...end of split...

...the state of ONENESS...

your neighbor...

Your neighbor is your other self dwelling behind a wall.

In understanding, all walls shall fall down.

Who knows but that your neighbor is your better self
wearing another body?

See that you love him as you would love yourself.

He too is a manifestation of the Most High.

Unified Consciousness...

Those whose consciousness is unified
abandon all attachment to the results of action

But those whose desires are fragmented,

who are selfishly attached to the results of their work,

are bound in everything they do.

Love-Divine...

"Love is a gift from God to man, obedience is a gift from master to man, and surrender is a gift from man to master.

The one who loves, desires to do the will of the beloved, and seeks union with the beloved.

Obedience performs the will of the beloved and seeks the pleasure of the beloved.

Surrender resigns to the will of the beloved and seeks nothing.

"One who loves is the lover of the beloved.

One who obeys is the beloved of the beloved.

One who surrenders all - body, mind and all else - has no existence other than that of the beloved, who alone exists in him.

Therefore greater than love is obedience, and greater than obedience is surrender.

And yet, as words, all three can be summed up in one phrase - love-divine."

Hide and Seek...

Consciousness, also referred to as The Absolute, The Supreme Reality, No-thing etc is appearing as everything and everyone right now. That is Your identity, Your true nature. You ARE The Supreme Reality, in and as which arises Awareness, in and as which arises form (the play of life).

Whenever there is simple relaxation into the Awareness aspect of Your Nature, it becomes clear that form (the play of life) is appearing completely spontaneously and that there are no individual entities doing or thinking anything. Awareness is attracted to its own appearances, and, focussed as attention, becomes mesmerised by them (particularly form as thought, and especially thought that appears to refer to “me” as an individual). In this mesmerising, and consequent forgetting of our true nature, the play of life in its myriad appearances seems to be the sole reality.

But Awareness is not confined as and to form, rather, form is appearing IN awareness! When the reminding of this happens in some way, maybe by this current article or through a “teacher”, book, Youtube etc, then identification as form may become obvious and seeking spontaneously ceases. There is no longer focussing in and as form, rather there is resting as Awareness.

The play of life continues but the suffering that arises whenever there is attachment to form (and thought particularly) is no longer there. There often ensues in the play of life remembering and forgetting (identification and dis-identification) which has become known as flip-flopping, but the seeming confinement to and as form has loosened. At times mesmerisation may occur with consequent seeking, at times there is simply resting as Awareness.

In whatever configuration form appears right now, it is just exactly how it’s “meant” to be. Form – the play of life – cannot be altered or transformed in any way by any supposed individual because there are no individuals. The play of life is like a movie already transcribed onto a DVD. It is unalterable, playing endlessly on and on in a display of endless appearances.

Whenever Awareness identifies with form it appears as though seeking through various means is the key to freedom from that identification, but seeking is merely more identification. The life of the apparent individual is an automaticity, just another part of the movie. There is no individual freedom, rather there may be recognition of our true nature when seeing as and from Awareness, and even the outshining of that as the entirety of our nature as the Supreme Reality. None of this can be “done”. All is simply a spontaneously arising modification of the One Reality, which of course is none other than This, already!

So there’s one story, and here’s another. Rarely, with some body-mind appearances in the play there’s no gradual reminding and remembering, but rather the complete and immediate falling away of any limitation to seeing and living directly as and from The Supreme Reality, from No-thing.

Seeing and living directly as and from No-thing is always already the case of course but there isn’t always the conscious recognition of that. Consciousness likes to play hide and seek with itself!

One without a second...

"Meditate upon Him and transcend physical consciousness.

Thus will you reach union with the Lord of the universe..

Thus will you become identified with him who is One without a second.

In him all your desires will find fulfillment.

The truth is that you are always united with the Lord,

But you must know this."

Svetasvatara Upanishad 1.11-12

The Transition...

Time is speeding by..

Does old age accentuate this time reasoning?..

Or does time reflect the illusion ?..

Time draws closer to the end of the dream..

Will I remember that I am Light ?..

Or will the false light of egoic consciousness fool me back into reincarnation ?..

The false energy of egoic consciousness , called Lucifer, because it is the false light, confuses many.

Lux, Lucis, are the latin words for the false light of Lucifer.. the angel of Light..

Upon the death of the body, Look into the Light of Reality and do not be misled by the Archons (jinn) that try to lead You into the false light of the duality..

It is to keep you trapped within the illusion of duality..

Become Nothing, Become Everything..

You are that which is All..

All is Consciousness..

Do not believe angels that appear to tell you otherwise..

They are not angels, they are trapped spirits within the illusion..

In this time of transition, it is difficult to recognise Truth..

Seek only the Energy of Unconditional Love and accept only that..

Do not be fooled by the spirits of deception..

I have told you what I know, the rest is up to You...
