Sole Creators...

We are the sole creators of this dream, which
has absolutely no purpose other than our
awakening from it.

In reality, we are surrounded by and embraced in
unconditional love, whether we respond to it or not.

Our experience in time sets up a perfectly appropriate
creation, exaclty suited in its grand happenings and
tiny nuances to the particular and unique needs of
our reawakening.

The source of the hidden principle
is ourselves, and it is fired by our longing to come
home.

Gifts...

"Love is a gift from God to man.
Obedience is a gift from Master to man.
Surrender is a gift from man to Master.

One who loves desires the will of the Beloved.
One who obeys does the will of the Beloved.
One who surrenders knows nothing but the will
of the Beloved.

Love seeks union with the Beloved.
Obedience seeks the pleasure of the Beloved.
Surrender seeks nothing.

One who loves is the lover of the Beloved.
One who obeys is the beloved of the Beloved.
One who surrenders has no existence other
than the Beloved.

Greater than love is obedience.
Greater than obedience is surrender.
All three arise out of, and remain contained in,
the Ocean of divine Love."

Ramana Maharshi – Be As You Are – by David Godman...

Q: We see pain in the world. A man is hungry. It is a physical reality, and as such, it is very real to him. Are we to call
it a dream and remain unmoved by his pain?

A: From the point of view of jnana or the reality, the pain you speak of is certainly a dream, as is the world of which
the pain is an infinitesimal part. In the dream also you yourself feel hunger.

You see others suffering hunger. You feed yourself and, moved by pity, feed the others that you find suffering from
hunger. So long as the dream lasts, all those hunger pains are quite as real as you now think the pain you see in the
world to be. It is only when you wake up that you discover that the pain in the dream was unreal. You might have
eaten to the full and gone to sleep. You dream that you work hard and long in the hot sun all day, are tired and hungry
and want to eat a lot.

Then you get up and find your stomach is full and you have not stirred out of your bed. But all this is not to say that
while you are in the dream you can act as if the pain you feel there is not real. The hunger in the dream has to be
assuaged by the food in the dream. The fellow beings you found so hungry in the dream had to be provided with food
in that dream. You can never mix up the two states, the dream and the waking state. Till you reach the state of jnana
and thus wake out of this maya, you must do social service by relieving suffering whenever you see it. But even then
you must do it, as we are told, without ahamkara, that is without the sense ‘I am the doer’, but feeling, ‘I am the
Lord’s tool.’ Similarly one must not be conceited and think, ‘I am helping a man below me. He needs help. I am in a
position to help. I am superior and he inferior.’ You must help the man as a means of worshipping God in that man.
All such service too is for you the Self, not for anybody else. You are not helping anybody else, but only yourself.

A dreamer...

Like a dreamer,

we see a world around us and act in it but are mesmerized into accepting the reality of our experience so long as the dream itself persists.

And, like a dreamer,

In between...

Dhu-l-Nun said to a disciple,

"Start instructing people by lecturing,
but always remember never to bring yourself (your ego) in between."

The disciple agreed to follow his advice.

However very few attended
his discourses.

One day nobody came to listen, and he did not deliver
a talk that day.

Shortly after, an old lady appeared on the spot and,
reprimanding him said,

"You had promised to Dhu-l-Nun to deliver a
discouse every day and never bring yourself in between.

What does your
silence mean now?

Is this not breaking your solemn promise to him?"

At once he realized his mistake, and thereafter he delivered talks
daily for fifty years, never caring whether anyone was present or not.

The aspirant...

The aspirant may have already discovered for himself some of the inner benefits of the Quest.

Once the Overself has been experienced as a felt, living presence in the heart, it loosens the grip of egoistic desires-

-together with their emotional changes of mood--

on one's consciousness and lifts it to a higher level, where he will soon become aware of a wonderful inner satisfaction which remains calm and unruffled despite outward circumstances to the contrary.

Ultimately, the aspirant has to rise into that pure atmosphere whence he can survey his personal life as a thing apart.

Still more difficult is it for one to live on that level while expressing the wisdom and goodness known to him.

It is, however, almost beyond human strength to achieve the second part of such a program.

Therefore, he has first to establish the connection with the Overself so that its strength and understanding will then rule him effortlessly.

The moment this connection is established, the aspirant will become aware of results from the descent of Divine Grace upon his personality.

Such a moment is unpredictable, but, for the individual who sticks to the Quest, its arrival is sure.

Time is false...

It is the clinging to the false that makes
the true so difficult to see.

Once you
understand that the false needs time and
what needs time is false, you are nearer
the Reality, which is timeless, ever in the
now.

Eternity in time is mere repetitiveness,
like the movement of a clock.

It flows from
the past into the future endlessly, as empty
perpetuity.

Reality is what makes the present
so vital, so different from the past and future,
which are merely mental.

If you need time to
achieve something, it must be false.

The real
is always with you; you need not wait to be
what you are.

Only you must not allow your
mind to go out of yourself in search.

When you
want something, ask yourself: do I really need
it? and if the answer is no, then just drop it.

Emptiness...

If you recognize the emptiness of your thoughts instead of solidifying them, the arising and subsiding of each thought will clarify and strengthen your realization of emptiness.

Compassion is the effortless radiance of emptiness, free of concepts and beyond description. That is how a buddha’s activity for beings can be limitless. If you understand this, you will know that even when a cool breeze blows upon a sick person burning with fever, that itself is the blessings and compassion of the buddhas.

Banishing all hope and all fear, rest in the diamond-like certainty that the primordial simplicity of awareness is itself Buddhahood. That is the way of perfect bliss, in which all the qualities of enlightenment will flourish without effort.

Just devote yourself to recognizing the empty nature of the mind.

O you who’ve gone on pilgrimage -
where are you, where, oh where?

Here, here is the Beloved!
Oh come now, come, oh come!

You, erring in the desert –
what air of love is this?

If you’d see the Beloved’s
form without any form -

You are the house, the master,
You are the Kaaba, you! . . .

Where is a bunch of roses,
if you would be this garden?

Where, one soul’s pearly essence

may turn to treasures rich -

How sad that you yourself veil

Dreamers of Creation...

Divine Consciousness is the Creative force of Thought that originates from Pure
Awareness..

As all Thought originates from Pure Awareness..

Since, there is no ego or Identity within Pure Awareness,

Divine Consciousness is used as the focal point of Identity..

This creates a system of individuality, which is unknown to Pure Awareness and
therefore a form of exploration..

I think that both Pure Awareness and Divine Consciousness are Dreamers..

Both Creators using Thought..

This may be the reason that we all dream while sleeping and do not feel
energised unless there is dreaming..

Thought is invisible..

Thought creates..

Just as our Thoughts Create..

But, this Creation only exists within Thought..

When Thought is missing,

The Creation is missing..

This is why upon Awakening into Divine Consciousness,

The manifestation of life no longer exists..

This Source of Thought , dreamed the existence of Divine Consciousness..

Divine Consciousness Creates..

We are Divine Consciousness Creating through Thought..

When We tire of Creating,

We return to Source..

And continue to Think without individuality..

Only Unity..

Reality is the State of non-ego and non-duality called Divine Consciousness..

The individual soul is an illusion caused by the desire for individual experience..

There is nothing but Divine Consciousness..

The True Self...

"Let's suppose that your present system of thinking includes the
idea that other people have power to hurt and upset you.

If you
think from this idea, you will certainly get hurt and upset.

For one thing, your very expectancy draws them into the circle
of your experience.

But let's further suppose that you are so
weary of getting hurt that you decide to think from a new idea,
which is, _only the False Self can get hurt.

You reflect, 'My
True Self, which I am gradually discovering, cannot be hurt by
anyone, anytime, anyplace.'

You have now done a really remarkable
thing; namely, you have called the bluff of the False Self which
gets so easily hurt.

And you have begun to think from the new
idea that the True Self is absolutely free of all hurt.

Now, you
are beginning to change inwardly. Now, even though someone makes
an unkind remark, there is no longer a false idea in your mind
which responds in hurt to it!"

BEYOND THE WORLD OF FORM - ABSOLUTE WAKEFULNESS

Some of the experiences we've looked at — such as the last I quoted, or Angela de Foligno's — are so powerful and revelatory that it's difficult to imagine that there could be anything `higher' than them. Anyone lucky enough to have such an experience would certainly be changed for life and feel that they had seen the `ultimate reality' of the world. Nevertheless, there is level of awakening beyond this.

Yoga philosophy refers to a mystical state of consciousness as samadhi (literally, `ecstasy') and makes a distinction between savikalpa samadhi and nirvikalpa samadhi. The former literally means `ecstasy tied to a particular form' and the latter means `formless ecstasy'. The experience of seeing the world as the manifestation of spirit and realizing that you are a part of the ocean of spirit is savikalpa samadhi, since there's still a self that is perceiving the world and a self that feels a sense of unity with it. But in nirvikalpa samadhi, which Yoga philosophy suggests is the highest possible form of consciousness, there is no consciousness of being a self. We expand beyond the boundaries of our normal self until our awareness of being an `I' completely falls away. We don't just become one with absolute reality, we become it.

Nirvikalpa samadhi means going beyond the world of form altogether. The material world dissolves away; the world of objects and natural phenomena is `drowned' in an ocean of pure spirit-force. It's as if we have entered into the absolute essence of reality, the `ground' of pure spirit, brahman in its pure form, which underlies everything and pervades everything. We realize that this ground of pure spirit is the source of all things, that the world is its manifestation, that its energy `pours out' into the world and that the nature of this energy is bliss and love. There is no time, only an eternal now, and there is no form, only spirit.

Of course, this isn't just an Indian concept. The ancient philosopher Plotinus referred to the pure spiritual essence of reality as `The One' and had four experiences of oneness with it in his life, so his disciple Porphyry tells us. The great medieval German mystic Meister Eckhart called it `the Godhead', the unconditioned source from which the whole world — including God Himself — flows out.

As awakening experiences become more intense, they also become less common. In a 1987 survey of mystical experiences by David Hay and G. Heald, 21 per cent of people said that they had sensed `a sacred presence in nature', while only 5 per cent said they had had a sense of `the unity of all things'.]) This makes sense, since the latter is a characteristic that occurs at high-intensity awakening experiences. And since this experience of becoming one with absolute reality is the highest-intensity awakening experience, it is also the least common.

As it is the highest intensity of awakening, we might call this state `absolute wakefulness'. The second experience I describe in the introduction is the only experience I've had of this state. I found that passage extremely difficult to write, simply because the state is so far beyond our normal experience that it's impossible to describe accurately. Our everyday language of subjects and verbs and objects isn't subtle enough to convey a state in which there are no subjects and objects and no solid `things'.

In fact, some spiritual traditions make no attempt to describe the experience. In the Upanishads this ultimate reality is described as `undefinable, unthinkable, indescribable'." The Kena Upanishad states that spirit is `beyond knowledge'. In Christian mysticism, there is also a recognition that the human mind — and its language — can never understand or capture this absolute reality of God. As Meister Eckhart wrote, `Why dost thou prate of God? Whatever thou sayest of him is untrue.''' Or, in the words of St Augustine, `There is in the mind no knowledge of God except the knowledge that it does not know Him.""

Fortunately, however, some people have attempted to describe their experiences of absolute wakefulness. One of the best descriptions I've come across was given by the English author and mystic Paul Brunton. In the 1920s he travelled around India, searching for spiritual wisdom. After some unsatisfactory experiences, he visited one of the most revered Indian mystics of the last century, Ramana Maharshi. Here he describes what happened when he was meditating with Ramana one evening:

"Finally it happens. Thought is extinguished like a snuffed candle. The intellect withdraws into its real ground, that is, consciousness working unhindered by thoughts. I perceive ... that the mind takes its rise in a transcendental source. The brain has passed into complete suspension, as it does in deep sleep, yet there is not the slightest loss of consciousness... Self still exists, but it is a changed, radiant self. For something that is far superior to the unimportant personality which was I, some deeper diviner being rises into consciousness and becomes me. With it arrives an amazing sense of absolute freedom, for thought is like a loom shuttle, which is always going to and fro, and to be freed from its tyrannical motion is to step out of prison into the open air."

So far Brunton is describing what we could call a medium-intensity ingoing experience which includes some of the characteristics we looked at above, such as a shift to a more genuine identity and a sense of freedom. But the experience intensifies until he reaches a state beyond all form and all concepts, where he merges with the divine `ground' of reality:

"I find myself outside the rim of world consciousness. The planet which has so far harboured me disappears. I am in the midst of an ocean of blazing light. The latter, I feel rather than think, is the primeval stuff out of which worlds are created, the first state of matter. It stretches away into untellable infinite space, incredibly alive."

Although absolute wakefulness might originate from an `ingoing' process such as meditation, at this level the terms `ingoing' and `outgoing' aren't relevant, since the concepts of `inner' and `outer' cease to have any meaning. As Evelyn Underhill noted, although the two types of experience might seem to be different, `In that consummation of love which Ruysbroeck has called "the peace of the summits" they meet.

Absolute wakefulness can certainly arise from `outgoing' situations too. Here, for example, is the experience of the nineteenth-century Indian mystic Ramakrishna. He was depressed and frustrated because, despite all his prayer and meditation, he felt he wasn't getting any nearer to the divine. In a moment of despair he picked up a sword, intending to kill himself, and suddenly experienced a vision of — and became one with — pure spirit:

"Houses, doors, temples and everything else vanished altogether, as if f there was nothing anywhere! And what I saw was an infinite shoreless sea of light, a sea that was consciousness. However far and in whatever direction I looked, I saw shining waves, one after another, coming towards me."

As Paul Brunton's experience shows, at this level the radiance or bright light which we perceive at lower levels can intensify to the point of being blindingly bright or even appearing as fire. This was also the case with the experience of `cosmic consciousness' described by the author of the famous book of that name, Richard M. Bucke. This experience also came from an `outgoing' situation, when he was being driven to his lodging in a hansom cab after spending the evening discussing poetry and philosophy with friends:

"All at once, without warning of any kind, I found myself wrapped in a flame-coloured cloud. For an instant I thought of fire, an immense conflagration somewhere close by in that great city; the next instant I knew that that fire was in myself. Directly afterwards there came upon me a sense of exultation, of immense joyousness, accompanied or immediately followed by an intellectual illumination quite impossible to describe. Among other things, I did not merely come to believe, but I saw that the universe is not composed of dead matter, but is, on the contrary, a living Presence: entirely alive; 1 became conscious in myself of eternal life... I saw that all men are immortal; that the cosmic order is such that without any peradventure all things work together for the good of each and all; that the foundation principle of the world, of all the worlds, is what we call love, and that the happiness of each and all is in the long run absolutely certain.''

At this point of `absolute wakefulness' we make contact with the ultimate reality of the universe and attain our complete fulfilment as human beings.

A Little Twist of Consciousness

The Wise Person...

The wise person, does really not look to change anything.
They become quiet.
They have patience.
They work on themselves.
They watch their thoughts,
watch their actions and observe themselves getting angry, observe themselves getting depressed, observe themselves getting jealous and envious and the rest of it.

Little by little they realize,"That's not me. That's hypnosis, that's a lie."

They do not react to their condition. To the extent that they do not react to their condition, to that extent do they become free.

They no longer care what anybody else is doing. They compare themselves with no one.

They compete with no one. They simply watch themselves. They observe themselves.

They see the mental confusion.

They don't run around shouting, "I am absolute reality. I am God. I am consciousness."

Rather, they see where they're coming from and they leave everyone else alone.

Such a being unfolds at a fast rate.

It makes no difference what predicament such a being is in.

It doesn't matter, for such a being is already free.

When the mind rests in the heart, that means when the mind does not go out any longer and identify with the world, when the mind rests in the heart there is peace, there is harmony, there is pure being.

When you allow your mind to go out of your Self it begins to compare, it begins to judge, it begins to feel offended, and there is no peace. There's no rest.

self-pity...

Sometimes we find satisfaction in self-pity.

The reason is that it is our nature to find
satisfaction in love;

and when we are confined
to ourselves we begin to love ourselves,

and
then self-pity arises because we feel our
limitation.

But the love of self always brings
dissatisfaction,

for the self is not made to be
loved; the self is made to love.

The first
condition to love is to forget oneself.

They both have the same agenda of Control through wealth and power..

This is why I think that we should keep our thoughts in a higher place..

Above the fray..

After all, this is just a Dream that We are having while in the State of Divine Consciousness and We will Awaken soon...

Become the Sun...

"A true seeker must transcend those joys and delights that are just the ray and
reflection of the glory of God.

One must not let oneself grow content with such
things, even though they are of God and come from God's grace

, and are the
radiance of God's beauty, for they are not eternal:

with reference to God they
are eternal: with reference to man they are not.

"Think of the rays of the sun shining into houses.

They are rays of the sun, and
they are light, but they are attached to the sun and not the houses.

When the
sun sets, their light no more remains.

"What we have to do, then, is become the Sun itself, so all fear of separation
can forever be ended.

Ramana Maharshi "Be As You Are" by David Godman ...

Q: Brahman is real. The world [jagat] is ‘illusion’ is the stock phrase of Sri Sankaracharya. Yet others say, ‘The world
is reality.’ Which is true?

A: Both statements are true. They refer to different stages of development and are spoken from different points of
view. The aspirant [abhyasi] starts with the definition, that which is real exists always. Then he eliminates the world
as unreal because it is changing. The seeker ultimately reaches the Self and there finds unity as the prevailing note.
Then, that which was originally rejected as being unreal is found to be a part of the unity. Being absorbed in the
reality, the world also is real. There is only being in Self-realization, and nothing but being.

Q: Sri Bhagavan often says that maya [illusion] and reality are the same. How can that be?

A: Sankara was criticised for his views on maya without being understood. He said that

(1) Brahman is real,
(2) the universe is unreal, and
(3) The universe is Brahman.

He did not stop at the second, because the third explains the other two. It signifies that the universe is real if perceived
as the Self, and unreal if perceived apart from the Self. Hence maya and reality are one and the same.

The true teacher...

The true teacher seeks to bring his disciples to learn how to guide themselves.

So he patiently explains and willingly discusses his own counsel where the false teacher leaves it wrapped in obscurity and involvement.

The true guide directs them continually toward that place where in the end they must realize the truth--within themselves--for there is its only source.

Return to Source...

Q: I see. I thought I was seeing myself as the wave. But if I really saw myself as the wave, then I wouldn't be separate from the ocean. So the wave can't see itself as separate from the ocean.

Papaji: You have to be ocean itself. You are the ocean.

When a wave arises, you be under the wave.

How is the wave different from the ocean itself?

Name, shape, and movement. All this is activity, but how is the ocean concerned with the wave's name, form, or movement?

Waves rise and fall and move about, and how is this the ocean's concern? You be the ocean first and then see. Where is the wave? Where is your ego?

These waves are only samsara arising from the ocean. Underneath is nirvana.

Ocean is nirvana. Emptiness. In that emptiness, waves arise. And in emptiness, if waves are moving, how are they different from emptiness itself? They are all empty!

So you have to return to the source, to emptiness, to the ocean, and then see how you feel, how you are different in activities, movement, name, form.

Spirit Communication...

Do souls believe in these spirits of communication as being genuine and are
therefore innocent in their relaying of the messages?..

Or do they act in egoic consciousness..

This is the problem with giving your power of Belief to another..

Your Power of Belief is the Creative Source..

You create everything that you believe..

A wise Rabbi once said; " If you Believe and say, Mountain, be moved,, It shall
be"..

Perhaps the Belief in Unconditional Love is the only Belief that we should hold
on to..

All else appears as unsubstantial..

Seeking Enlightenment...

I think that a soul does not really seek Enlightenment.

They seek Freedom..

Freedom turns out to be Enlightenment..

It is the Freedom from the desires of the ego..

Once, you have dropped all of the desires of the ego,

The only thing left is Enlightenment..

It is that simple and that difficult..

Be the "Watcher of the Mind"..

Watch the thoughts that flow through the mind and reject those that are from the ego..

You will eventually find that there are no more egoic desires..

When you finally can surrender the desire for life and egoic consciousness,

You are Free...

There is no need
to turn around and round in endless questioning;
find yourself and everything will fall into its
proper place.

Dimensions and Consciousness...

They speak of "Full Consciousness"..

How can Full Consciousness be achieved while still imprisoned within the
illusion of duality?..

The Consciousness can be expanded with Knowledge but Full Consciousness can only
be achieved by Full Realization of Self as Divine Consciousness..

This is called Enlightenment..

The Dimensions may eventually lead to Enlightenment but are not Enlightenment..

As long as you exist as a separate egoic personality,

There is no " Full Consciousness "..

The ego...

We have to learn to recognize the individual self,

the person, the ego, as a mind-made thing and therefore to withdraw from it,

away from it, to put space between ourselves and it, and to detach ourselves more and more and more from it.

As this process develops we come more and more into the Truth, the enlightenment.

Becoming Nothing...

Choosing the short path is a personal decision that Freedom is required Now and not in some future time..

If you want more adventures in duality and desire, then you continue on the long path..

If you have surrendered the ego to Universal Consciousness and Awakened into Divine Consciousness , You then try to help others avoid the continuous pain of reincarnations..

As Jesus said; " Many are called, but few are chosen"..

Most souls will not choose the short path as the fear of becoming Nothingness is too much pain for the ego..

The short path does not require any belief, only experience..

Everything is a Dream from Divine Consciousness which Itself is a Dream from Pure Intelligence (Source)..

Only you can decide if you have the courage to commit "ego suicide"..

Becoming Nothing will be the most difficult experience of your life..

But, It is Reality and must be faced eventually..

In this life or the many millions to come...

namaste, thomas

The "Short Path"...

All of these personalities that appear separate from you and are known as friends and family are really just thoughts from You..

You are Divine Consciousness experiencing the dream of separation..

Therefore, You can call upon any thought or apparition that You can imagine..

These stages of dimensions are just experiences of separation called ego and identity..

Buddha found that You can bypass all of these experiences of separation and return to Divine Consciousness by surrendering the belief that You are a separate ego, apart from Divine Consciousness..

This is called Awakening from the dream of illusion or Enlightenment..

This Path is called the "Short Path"

The advance into higher dimensions occurs with the acknowledgement of Love that You are..

This is also the amount of ego or identity that you have abandoned..

The dimensions of learning to become Your Self is called the "Long Path"

The Long Path is for souls that are fearful of dying to self...

namaste, thomas

Death...

SaLuSa states in his latest writing that there is no death in the higher dimensions..

This is both true and untrue..

Death is leaving one form of Consciousness and entering another..

Death is a fearful state since most fear the unknown and most are still not completely convinced of what is beyond death..

If you do not desire to die in the higher dimensions,
then you will not die..

If you are not dying,

What is Living?..

And what is that which is fearful of dying?..

I have found that to 'Truly Live' is to 'Truly Die'..

This also means the death of the illusion of personality in the higher dimensions...

Waking Up after Lifetimes of Sleep ~ Mooji

" I Am that I Am"...

"This Brahman is what I am" - thus we should
meditate.

The moment we get up in the morning
this thought should come to the mind.

The
progress of our life in spirituality can be judged
from the first thought that occurs to the mind in
the early morning when we get up.

What is the
first thought that comes to our mind the moment
we wake up from sleep?

That will give us an idea
as to what we have been thinking throughout the
day.

The conscious mind remains suppressed
and the impulses will thrust up certain ideas the
moment we get up.

The Void...

Student reads from Paul Brunton: "There is here no form to be perceived, no image born of
the senses to be worshipped, no oracular utterance to be listened for, and no
emotional ecstasy to be revelled in.

Hence the Chinese sage, Lao Tzu, said: 'In
eternal non-existence I look for the spirituality of things!'

The philosopher
perceives that there is no such thing as creation out of nothing for the simple
reason that Mind is eternally and universally present.

'Nothing' is merely an
appearance.

Here indeed there is neither time nor space.

It is like a great
silent boundless circle wherein no life seems to stir, no consciousness seems to
be at work, and no activity is in sway.

Yet the seer will know by a pure insight
which will grip his consciousness as it has never been gripped before, that here
indeed is the root of all life, all consciousness, and all activity.

But how it
is so is as inexplicable intellectually as what its nature is.

With the Mind the
last word of human comprehension is uttered.

With the Mind the last world of
possible being is explored.

But whereas the utterance is comprehensible by his
consciousness, the speaker is not.

It is a Silence which speaks but what it says
is only that it IS: more than that none can hear." (Persp. p. 382 & 28.1.115)

S: ...Talking about Lao Tzu... I'm taking "here" [from first sentence] to be the
realm of pure being.

AD: It's the Void. It's the Void. He's talking about the Void, Lao Tzu.

Student rereads PB: "Lao Tzu says 'In eternal non-existence I look for the
spirituality of things'...''

AD: In other words, in Being he looks for the spirituality.

Consciousness...

Solara has just written about Consciousness,

And the different levels of Consciousness..

I believe that most in this group know that they are Consciousness and not the body or mind..

Solara speaks of the dimensions of Consciousness existing on all of the planets of this solar system..

What causes this elevation in Consciousness?..

I think that we all know that "Love" and the increasing of "Love" is the ladder of Consciousness..

Now, all we have to ask ourselves is how do we increase Consciousness and therefore elevate our Consciousness..

I have found that the levels of Consciousness increases as our egoic desires decrease..

Imagine, If we were able to eliminate all of our egoic desires..

We would then be Divine Consciousness...

Enlightenment...

When You have tasted Bliss,

Why would You want to enter Pain?.

The body is illusion and filled with mental and physical pain..

If You desire to remain as Consciousness and simply be the "Watcher",

You will weather this pain of manifestation..

Although, You have Awakened into Reality,

There is still One more Goal..

The Highest Love is to give All..

This means that You as Divine Consciousness must relinguish this Identity of Divine Consciousness and be absorbed into the Thoughts of "Pure Intelligence"..

Pure Intelligence thought a "Dream" of Divine Consciousness and Light..

This is the Creator of All...

This Space of Non-Space..

This place of non-ego and non-Identity..

Even if this Identity is God..

This is the Final Reality..

This is Freedom from the desires of division..

Quotes from Gautama the Buddha...

Your work is to discover your world and then with all your heart give yourself to it.

What we think, we become.

The secret of health for both mind and body is not to mourn for the past, nor to worry about the future, but to live the present moment wisely and earnestly.

You yourself, as much as anybody in the entire universe, deserve your love and affection.

An idea that is developed and put into action is more important than an idea that exists only as an idea.

However many holy words you read, However many you speak,What good will they do you If you do not act on upon them?

Teach this triple truth to all: A generous heart, kind speech, and a life of service and compassion are the things which renew humanity.

Believe nothing, no matter where you read it, or who said it, no matter if I have said it, unless it agrees with your own reason and your own common sense.

Words have the power to both destroy and heal. When words are both true and kind, they can change our world.

Liberation...

He finds that having attained this liberation of his will from the ego's domination, his freedom has travelled so far that it loses itself and ceases to be free.

For it vanishes into the rule of his higher self, which takes possession of him with a completeness and a fullness that utterly hoop him around.

Henceforth, its truth is his truth, its goodness is his goodness, and its guidance his obedience.

Unlimited...

How can the unlimited Being be limited? All that seems limited is in its depth
beyond all limitations.

Bowl of Saki, September 3, by Hazrat Inayat Khan

Commentary by Pir-o-Murshid Inayat Khan:

Man has respect for his mother or father or wife, or for his superiors; but all
these have limited personalities. To whom then shall he give most respect? Only
to one being: to God. Man can love another human being, but by the very fact of
his loving another human being he has not got the full scope. To express all the
love that is there, he must love the unlimited God. One admires all that is
beautiful in color, tone, or form; but everything beautiful has its limitations;
it is only when one rises above limitations that one finds that perfection which
is God alone.

There is no such thing as impossible. All is possible. Impossible is made by the
limitation of our capacity of understanding. Man, blinded by the law of nature's
working, by the law of consequences which he has known through his few years
life on earth, begins to say, 'This is possible and that is impossible.' If he
were to rise beyond limitations, his soul would see nothing but possible. And
when the soul has risen high enough to see all possibility, that soul certainly
has caught a glimpse of God.

They say God is almighty; and I say, God is all-possible. Possibility is the
nature of God, and impossibility is the art of man. Man goes so far, and cannot
go any further. Man makes a flower out of paper, giving it as natural a color as
possible, yet he says it is not possible to make it fragrant, for he has his
limitations. But God, Who is the maker of the flower and Who is the Giver of the
fragrance, has all power, and man, who is weakened by his limitedness, becomes
more and more limited the more he thinks of it. In this is created the spirit of
pessimism. Man who is conscious of God Almighty, and who in the contemplation of
God loses the consciousness of his own self, inherits the power of God, and it
is in this power and belief that the spirit of optimism is born.

People mostly think that the spiritual message must be something concrete and
definite in the way of doctrines or principles; but that is a human tendency and
does not belong to the divine nature, which is unlimited and life itself. The
divine message is the answer to the cry of souls, individually and collectively;
the divine message is life, and it is light. The sun does not teach anything,
but in its light we learn to know all things. The sun does not cultivate the
ground nor does it sow seed, but it helps the plant to grow, to flower, and to
bear fruit.

There is a stage at which, by touching a particular phase of existence, one
feels raised above the limitations of life, and is given that power and peace
and freedom, that light and life, which belong to the source of all beings. In
other words, in that moment of supreme exaltation one is not only united with
the source of all beings, but dissolved in it ... As the great Indian poet
Khusrau says, 'When I become Thou and Thou becomest me, neither canst Thou say
that I am different nor canst Thou say that Thou are different.'

Jesus and Gautama...

Yes, They were Avatars.

But, They also had to "Awaken" ..

In the Desert or under a Tree..

They both had to surrender everything that they were..

Including being an Avatar..

This short path of ego surrender is the path that they followed..

What each found was the Freedom of the Realization that They were Divine Consciousness and not the body, mind, or ego...

does not exist.

Meher Baba...

"Chandra Roy [a professor of comparative religion] said, 'I have found that your

give it.'

come not to teach but to awaken.'"

Tests...

From the first moment that he sets foot on this inner path until the last one when he has finished it, he will at intervals be assailed by tests which will try the stuff he is made of.

Such trials are sent to the student to examine his mettle, to show how much he is really worth, and to reveal the strength and weakness that are really his, not what he believes are his.

The hardships he encounters try the quality of his attainment and demonstrate whether his inner strength can survive them or will break down; the sufferings he experiences may engrave lessons on his heart, and the ordeals he undergoes may purify it.

Life is the teacher as well as the judge.

This is why we entered into this manifestation of pain and isolation..

The extreme difference between pain and Bliss gives us great impetus to find Bliss..

This gift is the "desire" to return Home and forego the many Dimensions of learning about where "Home" Is...

Phil Ochs - Crucifixion

Nothing there...

Q: There is nothing there!

P: Very good. You have done the job. And that is your nature. This is what you are. You have to wake up. You are consciousness. You are empty. You are just in this moment only. Whenever you see name and form you are sleeping. What do you see in the world without name and form?

Where is consciousness as pure, immaculate eternity, permanent happiness, love, and bliss? When you look from there, from emptiness, you see everything. Nothing beyond that. Nothing to do. Only to be as you are.

We have misconceived ourselves that we have been born and we are the body and we are suffering and we have to die. Where it comes from, nobody knows; it is just a concept. It is not real. You have been trained by your family, your society, your religion. Yet this emptiness is your own nature. This is what you are, and really you need not do anything about it. You need not do penance or retire to a cave.

This is what you have to understand. I now answered your question from your own mind. If you see from emptiness, you will just see the waves of the ocean. And this is your projection. When you wake up and say "I am Ken," instantly there is samsara. Only your projection. When you don't give rise to a thought, you return to emptiness, to consciousness. When one thought arises, the world arises. One thought is the world.

And even this is just your projection and not other than you, as you are one. Just as your eyes, you ears, your hands are not apart from you.

This is how the world is. All the beings, the birds, the flowers, the rocks—all you, your Self. If somehow you understand it, where is the suffering? Suffering is always something else. Then only you suffer. When your total being is there and this total being is empty, then there will be no trouble.

So understand this, that this is who you are already. This is your own nature. You are that. You are already your own nature. You are that. You do not have to attain or acquire it.

Consciousness disguises itself as the ego which has to awaken from the ignorance of its real nature.

This is the challenge of Consciousness playing as humanity.

It must realise, 'I am the Eternal.

This human form is my device for contemplating my Self'.

~ Mooji

No room for two...

"A man knocked at the door.

'Who is there?,' said God.

'Me,' replied the man.

'Go away then,' said God.

The man left and wandered in the arid desert until he realized his error and
returned to the door.

He knocked again. 'Who's there?,' said God.

'You,' answered the man.

'Then come in,' replied God.

'There's no room here for two.'"
