Ascension and Enlightenment...

Enlightenment is not the same as Ascension..

and ascension is not super enlightenment..

Anyone that tells you different has not yet Awakened into Enlightenment..

Enlightenment is Realized when the ego is surrendered and you have become 'nothing'..

Only the state of 'Nothingness' can Awaken into 'Everythingness'..

Enlightenment is the Realization as fact and experience that You are Light, Love, and Consciousness..

The body is left behind on the ground,

the ego is left behind as illusion,

and You exist as Divine Consciousness..

Have no fear...

I sit in my own radiance,
And I have no fear.

Walking,
Dreaming,
Sleeping,
What are they to me?

What is far or near,
Outside or inside,
Gross or subtle?

I sit in my own splendor.

Act with courage...

When you are in doubt, be still, and wait;

when doubt no longer exists for you, then go forward with courage.

So long as mists envelop you, be still;

be still until the sunlight pours through and dispels the mists
-- as it surely will.

Then act with courage.

The World Mind...

I have been told that this manifestation of earth and the bodies within are the
result of what is called the World Mind..

This collaboration of souls agreeing to believe in the same illusion..

This Ascension into a higher dimension could also be a continuation of the
creation by the World Mind..

Could this New Earth be just a continuation of the reincarnations of the souls
of earth after the deaths of the bodies due to a Pole Shift ?..

Could the Galactic Entities actually prevent a Pole Shift?..

Is Nibiru real?..

The power of Thought of the majority of souls could manifest any object or
experience that we can Imagine..

So, I wait and see if the stories and predictions are True..

And make sure that I have an alternate plan in place...

Only the Self...

Only the Self everywhere! The not-Self doesn't exist. And the Self is not absent at all! So you will see Self everywhere. When I say every-where, it is nowhere. Nowhere itself. Because no distance is involved. No here and somewhere. Self alone is total awareness of Self.

And all those waves and eddies and drops and bubbles—all are just the ocean. So, according to your question, "I see the ocean" is saying "I see the ocean within myself but not in the waves or other eddies, tides, bubbles. There I do not see." So you have to see first the ocean within the ocean, Self within the Self. And this will include everything else. You will contain everything.

The Self contains everything. There is nothing apart from it. This is why you can call it emptiness. There is nothing beyond emptiness. All " is empty. Nothing ever exists.

And when you see something existing, it is not other than you. So wherever there is an idea or concept of duality, of something else, there is confusion there about this. There is no duality at all. Oneness and wholeness is all.

If we accept duality, then there must be frontiers between the two, and then it cannot be limitless. There will be a division between dual¬ity and union. So there cannot be any divisions or frontiers in limitless reality or in truth or emptiness. There are no frontiers. So this is seeing Self everywhere!

The Source is the Only God..

The Source thought; " Let there be Light".

This Light and Love is called Divine Consciousness and is Us..

Divine Consciousness has the ability to create manifestations that we think is reality..

Because we believe that we are separate from Divine Consciousness, we call this Creative Power,, God..

But, there is Only One God called Source and We are just the Thoughts of Source...

Death...

Death is a tax the soul has to pay for having had a name and a form.

Bowl of Saki, August 28, by Hazrat Inayat Khan

Commentary by Pir-o-Murshid Inayat Khan:

All that is constructed is subject to destruction; all that is composed must be
decomposed; all that is formed must be destroyed; that which has birth has
death. But all this belongs to matter; the spirit which is absorbed by this
formation of matter or by its mechanism lives, for spirit cannot die.

That which the soul has borrowed he must give back when it has done its work; it
was borrowed for a certain time and for a certain purpose. When the purpose is
fulfilled, when the time is finished, then every plane asks for that which the
soul has borrowed from it, and one cannot help but give it back to that plane.
It is this process which is called assimilation. Since man is born greedy and
selfish he has taken all things willingly, enthusiastically -- he gives them
back grudgingly and calls it death. ...

Death is nothing but the taking off of one garb and giving it back to the plane
from which it was borrowed, for the condition is this: one cannot take the garb
of the lower plane to the higher plane. The soul is only released when it is
willing -- or compelled -- to give its garb to the plane it has taken it from.
It is this which releases the soul to go on in its travel. And as it proceeds to
a higher plane, after its stay there it must again give its garb back and be
purified from it in order to go further. ... This knowledge also throws a light
upon the question of death. Death is not really death; it is only a passing
stage, it is only a change, as changing clothes.

Return to Source...

The easiest way to return to the source is you look at the mind,

that it is not going to be attracted by anything outside,

and if you keep quiet, a thought will come: "Where is my source?"

Don't go outside, but keep quiet.

In this quietness, the mind will automatically return to its source.

Having returned there, the mind is lost and there is no mind now to search for the light or wisdom anywhere else, and there will be a tremendous fountain of peace.

And all doubts are cleared and he will keep quiet, not by tongue but through his Heart.

His ego is absolutely finished.

This is called peace and returning to the source.

Lonely and Lazy...

Lama Thubten Yeshe Says...

"Why are we bored, lonely and lazy?

Because we don’t have the will to totally open our hearts to others.

If you have the strength of will to totally open your heart to others, you will eliminate laziness, selfishness and loneliness.

Actually, the reason you get lonely is that you are not doing anything.

If you were busy, you wouldn’t have time to get lonely.

Loneliness can only enter an inactive mind.

If your mind is dull and your body inactive, then you get lonely.

Basically, this comes from a selfish attitude, concern for yourself alone.

That is the cause of loneliness, laziness and a closed heart."

If I adore You...

If I adore You out of fear of Hell, burn me in Hell!

If I adore You out of desire for Paradise,

Lock me out of Paradise.

But if I adore you for Yourself alone,

Do not deny to me Your eternal beauty.

Moderation...

When you eat too much,
you forget your truth,

so eat with some discipline,

Then the door will open,

Rejecting "other" means
to reject that you are separate from "other."

The Truth Is"

You are already Home...

When you tell me the story of your life, when you share your trials and triumphs, your failures and achievements, your loves and losses, I do not hear a 'story' at all, I hear a unique invitation back to the truth of who you really are, a unique invitation to wake up from all stories, including this story.

I never confuse you with your narrative, although your narrative is always honored for what it is...

Our stories are all different, and yet our stories are all exactly the same - they are all simply reflections and refractions of that Original Story before time, that story of the One forgetting itself and seeking itself again, becoming two so it can know itself as One, metaphorically-speaking.

And so your story is not really 'yours' at all, it is only giving voice to an ancient cosmic nostalgia for a wholeness you may have once known, only a call to stop pretending to be limited and separate, far from the One you love, far from the timeless truth of yourself.

For the One you love is already here, calling to you in each and every moment, breathing down your neck, much closer than the next breath, prior to these words, long before even the next thought, and the only words it whispers are, "you are already home, child, you are already home..."

Jeff Foster..

One with yourself...

That which you are, your true self, you love it, and whatever you do, you do for your own happiness.

To find it, to know it, to cherish it is your basic urge.

Since time immemorial you loved yourself, but never wisely.

Use your body and mind wisely in the service of the self, that is all.

Be true to your own self, love your self absolutely.

Do not pretend that you love others as yourself.

Unless you have realised them as one with yourself, you cannot love them.

Don't pretend to be what you are not, don't refuse to be what you are.

Your love of others is the result of self-knowledge, not its cause.

Without self-realisation, no virtue is genuine.

When you know beyond all doubting that the same life flows through all that is and you are that life, you will love all naturally and spontaneously.

When you realise the depth and fullness of your love of yourself, you know that every living being and the entire universe are included in your affection.

But when you look at anything as separate from you, you cannot love it for you are afraid of it.

Alienation causes fear and fear deepens alienation. It is a vicious circle. Only self-realisation can break it.

Go for it resolutely.

Who is this 'I Am'?...

This is the acknowledgement of Consciousness..

This is the Reality of Divine Consciousness..

This is Who We Are..

As long as You have the desire to 'Be' anything.

You will remain 'I Am'..

This 'I Am' is seen everyday as 'ego'

'I Am', smart, strong, beautiful, wealthy, individual, etc..

This is the power of creation..

'I Am' creates many 'I Am's..

The Original 'I Am' is the Dream from Pure Awareness..

Being from the mind of Pure Awareness, the original 'I Am' is composed of the
mind of Pure Awareness, which is the Energy of Love..

The Energy of Love is non separation..

This is why friendship, family, and love feels good..

Love is non-separation..

Ego is separation..

'I Am' is separation..

'I Am' is separation from 'Pure Awareness'..

Surrender the 'I Am' to Pure Awareness..

Dying to lower self...

Dying to your lower self is relinquishing the ego as a belief that it is You..

As long as you believe that you are the ego, you will continue to reincarnate to fulfill the desires of ego..

This is why it is so important to surrender the ego in this lifetime, so that after the death of the body, You will not be trapped within the desires of egoic consciousness and have to continuously incarnate within the physical rhelms..

Because, You have Realized that You are Divine Consciousness,
You immediately Awaken as Light and Love and are no longer trapped within the illusions of manifestations..

This requires complete surrender of the lower self (ego) to Universal Consciousness while in meditation..

How Zen defines itself...

Bodhidharma's definition:

A special transmission outside the scriptures;
No dependence on words and letters;
Direct pointing to the mind of man;
Seeing into one's nature and attaining Buddhahood.

Zen is sometimes called "the face-to-face transmission of the dharma outside the sutras." Throughout the history of Zen, teachers have transmitted their realization of dharma to students by working with them face-to-face. This makes the lineage of teachers critical. A genuine Zen teacher can trace his or her lineage of teachers back to Bodhidharma, and before that to the historical Buddha, and to those Buddhas before the historical Buddha.

Certainly, large parts of the lineage charts have to be taken on faith. But if anything is treated as sacred in Zen, it's the teachers' lineages. With very few exceptions, calling oneself a "Zen teacher" without having received transmission from another teacher is considered a serious defilement of Zen.

While we're talking about teachers, I should mention Zen masters. In my experience, the phrase "Zen master" is hardly ever heard inside Zen. Popular notions of "Zen master," however smarmy, roughly correspond to what a Zen teacher is. The title "Zen master" in Japanese, "zenji," is only given posthumously. In Zen, living Zen teachers are called "Zen teachers." An especially venerable and beloved teacher is called "roshi," which means "old man." I'm not sure how that works when the teacher is a woman, however. In any event, if you ever run into someone who advertises himself as a "Zen master," be skeptical.

Bodhidharma's definition also says that Zen is not an intellectual discipline you can learn from books. Instead, it's a practice of studying mind and seeing into one's nature. The main tool of this practice is zazen.

The Dream of Life...

Concealed behind the passing dream of life there is a world of lasting reality.

All men awaken at the moment of death but only a few men are able to resist falling at once into the astral dream.

These are the few who sought to die to their lower selves whilst they were still alive.

These are the mystics who enter reality..

Ascension...

A lot is being written about the ascension into the forth and fifth dimension..

What is being ascended?..

It is not the "You", that is Consciousness..

The "You" that is Consciousness does not need ascending..

Then, what is ascending?..

That's right, It is the false self that pretends to be "You"..

A little less selfish but still trapped within egoic consciousness..

Should we praise this event as the "end all and be all"..

Of course not, It is only a rung on the ladder of illusion..

You will be promised great things and experiences..

Is this just to keep you trapped within the circle of reincarnation?..

Why would you step one rung, when "You" do not need a ladder at all?..

Examine the "End Goal" and find that it comes back to "You"..

"You" are much more valued than just another rung or two...

The Greatest Discovery that I made in the study of the knowledge of what Love
is, was that Love is the state of non-existence..

This state of Reality means that "You" are not the notion of ego or separation.

This state of non-existence is called Unconditional Love..

As only Unconditional Love exists..

If you still desire to exist, then You exist as Unconditional Love..

This is still a division because "You" still "exist" as "Identity"..

The Final Reality is that "YOU" do no longer exist,

Only "Unconditional Love" exists..

As there is only "Source" and nothing else..

All else are just the dreams from Source..

Non-Identity...

Since my goal and path was to bypass all of these dimensions and frequencies and enter Source, I have not spent much time in the differentiation of the qualities of each..

But, I have found that any frequency or level of spirituality that is not Source contains a reason for the division..

This is called egoic consciousness, or a lack of some form of Unconditional Love..

Divine Consciousness or the Creative Energy called God is found by those that have surrendered all desire for separation called ego and also the desires for anything except Union with Source..

Most are unaware that even this Divine Consciousness, that is actually us but we have forgotten this fact by infatuation with desires, is actually also a separation from the Ultimate Source called Pure Awareness..

Divine Consciousness is Unconditional Love and It's Creator is Complete Love of non-identity and non-ego and is composed of Pure Thought..

This is the Final Reality and Final Source..

I have found that most souls that have Realised that they are not individual souls but are the Identity called Divine Consciousness, then begin the journey to eliminate even this Identity of God and become the Nothingness of Pure Awareness..

This is very difficult to even consider while within the Love and Light of Consciousness, since You have no desire to leave this State..

Thus, Only the Complete Desire for Love will propel You to leave this existence of Love to enter the Complete Love of Non-Identity called Pure Awarensss...

This power that brings joy to the giver as well as the receiver is ever within our minds to understand..

This understanding of something that almost every human wants, even in the form of selfish love or Unselfish Love (Unconditional Love)..

Selfish love is that which demands that love be returned or the love will end..

Thought Fable...

Nisargadatta said (I am paraphrasing): "You think that you are a body born into the world but, in reality, the world is born into you." It's a poignant pointer. The idea of being a limited being is nothing more than a thought form taken to be true. After such a thought has come and gone, you will still be. What are you? No-thing.

Not being a thing and, therefore, not having definable perceptible qualities, what problems can you have?

Being boundless emptiness, to which a concept of limitations has no meaning, what dividing line marks your horizon?

If you were not, no thing could appear. Every possible appearance is simply an expression of your registering openness.

In Christianity there is usually an emphasis first and foremost, up front, on Jesus — and those interpretations of Jesus can vary from a wise teacher all the way to the one and only Son of God, existent since before the very beginning of time.

I’d like to suggest another approach, however, one rooted in the teachings and life of Jesus. Rather than starting with Jesus, let us, as he did, start instead with God.

Either there is more to what we can see with our eyes to this world or there isn’t. My experience has clearly been that there is, and what we cannot see with our eyes, we can know with our heart — and that is God. I suspect that has been the experience of many visitors to this site, as well, that begins to bind us together.

To use the poetry and image at hand, our goal is to live in the kingdom of God, to realize and express that kingdom not as some future event but as a Reality here and now. In short, it is to know God. We have it on good authority this Presence of God is spread across the land only we simply do not see it, that is both within us and outside us. Furthermore, in thinking on God, we are called upon not only to see that kingdom but to be that kingdom. We are, as humans, by our nature and purpose, charged with making the quest to know the Presence of God in true “kindom” — which is to say we live as children of God and, therefore, to know and treat all who walk in this world as our sisters and brothers in God.

Quite naturally, if we start from the reality of God, then what can we do but yearn for a way to know God, to experience that kingdom or live in that Presence? Once again, to harbor the very desire to do this is, quite simply, to be a mystic.

I ask you, please, forget the fundamentalist claptrap that hijacked the word “mystic” and wrongly allies it to things occult and fuzzy-headed. Instead, like so many in the Christian tradition — Paul, St. Francis, Meister Eckhart, a host of Orthodox figures, and so many more — actively claim the true meaning of the word, and walk the Christ Path, which is to desire to live the experience of God. Do not abandon that simple truth in favor of the perception born of fear that you find in some conceptions of God, no matter what particular religion the fundamentalist and concretized mind belongs to. (A reading of our daily newspaper or a few hours on cable tv “news” will show you there are no shortage of such religions throughout the world.)

Now, let us admit we are on this journey. What now? If we want to know God , experientially, what are we to do? I think the obvious answer is often not so obvious. If you want to know something, you go to a Master of that craft as an apprentice. I would suggest that for many of us, the person of Jesus is the clearest such example humankind has to offer.

In other words, we do not know Jesus because of God, but we can know God because of Jesus. It is for this reason, in fact, that we are Christians. We know God in Jesus’ perceptions of and expression of Love, compassion, inclusiveness, care for those who the least among us, and so much more. We can clearly see through him God’s topsy-turvy world in which each person has access to God, directly, without intermediary or “law” but through Love. Going even deeper, we see complete in Jesus’ actions the nature of the arrival of the kingdom of God itself, not in military garb or political edict or end-time judgment (as it has always been expected by this or that group) but in small ways measured in the size of a mustard seed, in a single lost sheep, a missing coin, a buried pearl. Journeying more, we sense God’s Love through the world around us — ravens who receive food, a woman who conceals something marvelous and active hidden within the baking loaf of bread, the forgiveness of one who has missed the mark in life and faces death by stoning, the sick and dying, the prisoners without hope and in so many more ways.

We return to the warning. I realize there are those who make of the Bible an inerrant idol, but it takes very little effort to find out such things are wrong and wrong-headed. Can we know the exact words of Jesus 100%? Regardless of what some say (and in doing so limit both Jesus and God) No. Can we, however, begin to gather and perceive the spirit of Jesus? Yes, most certainly. It is the same spirit that infused the earliest diverse communities of believers before there was anything approaching a “Bible.”

If, in all this, one gets the perception that simply knowing Jesus’ life is the be-all and end-all window to God, therein lies a very tragic (or certainly tricky) error we must work to correct. But what is that error?

Start with this — a group of uneducated, frightened, confused and often argumentative disciples somehow became dramatically changed into a force to be reckoned with, even to the point of facing death, and one does not explain such motivation and confidence and faith and change if Jesus was simply a wise teacher who died and, probably, was buried in a community grave as was the fate of all such victims of Rome.

Somehow, in ways perhaps not even the disciples could grasp, Jesus’ death was, like ours, not an end but a gateway to something far deeper, far more profound and far more powerful than life itself.

At this point we must be watchful. Different human interpretations have made for the spiritual crime (or, at the very least, prison) of fundamentalism, a human explanation voiced from a very time-bound and limited (and thus limiting) perspective.

Let us turn back to God a moment. Ask ourselves – Can God speak to others in other ways? Out of fear, no. Ignorance, no. Hatred, no. Bigotry, no. Nationalism, no. But if a person answers from a different place, surely the answer to that question must be yes, for we are not talking about a bigoted, ignorant, hating, fearful person projecting his or her limitations, but rather of God. Are we willing to be aware of making our God as small, violent, petty, and territorial as we can be?

I have to assume no one would be willing to speak for God, especially one who does not have the depth and breadth and power of an intimate relationship within God’s ultimate kingdom. Has such a thing ever even happened? I submit it did — in Jesus.

But we must know, as I began to say earlier, that it is not a question simply of who Jesus was, but who Jesus is. And here I would offer an essential point — Either the spirit at the heart of Jesus’ understanding was limited to that particular person in that particular time or it is available now, having been set free upon the world by God’s Love and mystically (beyond words) applied to Jesus’ death. In short, the more unlimited the person lives, the more unlimited the person is after life. That seems to me extremely obvious.

What does this mean to a Christian mystic? This — We are called upon by Jesus in this life to shed our shortcomings and any perceived exclusiveness in terms of love, riches, compassion, companionship, healing and more, so we might partake of the greater identity of what we really are and can be as we move from the image of God to the likeness of God, which is expressed in Jesus.

I suspect I’ve gone on too long, but perhaps something in what I said is of interest and at feebly least points, awkwardly, to the essential, living and infinitely available Truth of being.

Blessing,

Rev. Brian Robertson

Dimensions and Reality...

I have found that all the dimensions contain egoic consciousness desireing to become closer to the Reality of Unconditional Love..

The lower dimensions contain the most ego existence and the higher dimensions the least..

Once you have surrendered the belief that you are a egoic personality,
You Awaken into the 'First Reality' called Divine Consciousness..

You not only Awaken into Divine Consciousness, You Realise that You are Light and Love and Divine Consciousness Itself..

This First Reality is called God Realisation..

This Reality is the Acknowledgement that You are the God of Creation, without any egoic pride..

This is Your Identity and Reality..

The main attributes of this Identity are Unconditional Love, Unlimited Light, Unlimited Intelligence, and the ability to create manifestations from Thought..

The "Final Reality" is surrendering this Identity of God and becoming the Complete Love of non-separation called "Pure Awareness"..

This is the "Source" of All and contains no ego or Identity..

Only Thought...

Understanding Reality...

Yesterday, I was speaking in a chat room to a woman that had achieved Enlightenment and did not know whether it was Real..

When she told other humans of her experience, they thought that she was insane..

She was never taught about the ending of ego and the entrance into Divine Consciousness, as the Identity of Divine Consciousness..

She found herself as Light and Love and was able to speak to the Light to receive answers to questions about life and death..

Because her family and friends just thought that she had a dream and the Reality found was not Real, she began to drink as a method to forget this experience and return to the normal life of humans..

She was greatly relieved when I informed her that the Reality that she found was Real..

She knew nothing of the surrendering of egoic consciousness and did not realise that this was the secret of Waking up from the illusion of life ..

I told her that only the egoless could enter this state of Reality, and somehow she had surrendered her ego to Consciousness..

She then remembered that in prayer, she had given her life and all that she is to God as a beginning to this experience of leaving the body..

Even in ignorance of ego and non-ego, she was able to enter Reality by giving all that she is to God..

This is the Secret..

you must 'Give All' to 'Receive All'......

Letting go...

“Realizing our true self is letting go…simply letting go into this openness, this radiant vibrancy of pure consciousness.

We don’t really know how letting go happens.

We want to know so we can make it happen…But gradually we find that letting go really isn’t our job.

Rather, our task is to learn how to let things be exactly as they are.”

- Jon Bernie

I and You...

"'I' and 'you' are but the lattices,
In the niches of a lamp,
Through which the One Light shines.

'I' and 'you' are the veil
Between heaven and earth;
Lift this veil and you will see
No longer the bond of sects and creeds.

When 'I' and 'you' do not exist,
What is mosque, what is synagogue?
What is the Temple of Fire?"

Ego and the Long Path...

It is actually an ego desire to take the long path..

The long path wants to keep the egoic consciousness but still be closer to the Joy of Love..

The short path of Zen is the total sacrifice of all personal desires especially the desire for separation from Unconditional Love called separate ego or identity..

There are levels of the dissolving of ego that bring your consciousness into a Joyful experience..

But, the Greatest Joy is to totally leave this fantasy of separation and be Reborn as Your Real Self..

This actually feels as though You have just been born..

In later experiences of Divine Consciousness, You just enter the Light and Love as walking through a door..

The complete secret is that 'you' must become 'Nothing' to become 'Everything'...

You will understand this upon Your Awakening....

Cat Stevens - Miles From Nowhere

Contemplation...

Instructions for Practicing Effortless
Contemplation

Step one. Preliminaries

1. If you are able to, sit in your normal meditation posture. If your illness prevents this, or makes it too difficult, assume the most comfortable position you can.

2. Focus on your breath or some other meditation object to stabilize your attention.

3. After a few minutes, cease to focus on any particular object and practice "choiceless awareness," simply observing whatever objects arise and pass in Consciousness. Notice the following about each object:

· It is impermanent.

· It has no existence apart from Consciousness Itself.

· Being a form of Consciousness, it is transparent to It.

Step two: Being reminded

Note: You can either read the following reminders yourself, or have

someone read them to you. In either case, they should be read slowly, giving you a chance to contemplate each one before going on to the next.

1. Without fixing your attention on anything, just consider:

Is there consciousness of sights? Is there consciousness of sounds?

Is there consciousness of sensations? Is there consciousness of feelings? Is there consciousness of tin nights?

This very Consciousness, which is here right now, is that eternal, self-luminous Reality you have been striving to Realize all along. Since this Consciousness is already here, your striving is unnecessary.

2. Abandon all concepts about your experience and simply observe:

See how appearances arise in Consciousness. Since, whatever appears is already present, how can it be avoided?

See how appearances pass in Consciousness. Since whatever has passed is no longer present, how can it be grasped?

See how everything appears without the least obstruction. Since nothing obstructs appearances, there are no obstacles to be removed.

See how everything passes without the least hindrance. Since everything is self-liberating, there is nothing to be set free.

Relax into this effortless contemplation of how things actually are.

3. Without making any adjustments, continue to observe:

Although you say, "forms arise in Consciousness,"

can you really separate Consciousness from its forms?

Is not Consciousness like an ocean, and forms its waves?

Because Consciousness and forms are ultimately inseparable, duality never existed: How then can it he transcended?

Although you say "I am aware of such-and-such an object," can you truly distinguish between your self and the object? Where does `self' end and the `object' begin?

Because subject and object are, in reality, indistinguishable, delusion never originated. How then can it be dispelled?

4. Look! Reality is staring you right in the face:

5. You say, you cannot eliminate your `self' but there is no `self' to eliminate.

You say, you have not attained "Enlightenment," but there is not the slightest thing to attain.

You say, "I am ignorant of my true identity"

but how can this be? What else is there,

besides this infinite, eternal, non-dual

field of Consciousness-and-form which is already present, right here and now.. and now.. and now..

Therefore, surrender all desire for attainment and just be what you are: Consciousness Itself!

Step three: Practicing without formal reminders

Once you have gotten used to contemplating in this way, it is sufficient to remember these three basic rules:

· Do not grasp anything;

· Do not reject anything;

· Be whatever is.

This applies particularly to situations where you experience states of exceptional clarity, or have feelings of great bliss, or profound insights. Such experiences will generate thoughts like: "Ah, this is Gnosis! Now, I am definitely Enlightened!" But as clarity gives way to confusion, bliss to frustration, and profound insights to mental chatter, you will think: "Now, I have lost my Enlightenment and become deluded once again. How depressing!" When this happens you must remember that Enlightenment is not a `place' in which to settle, nor is Gnosis a `state' that needs to be maintained. All experiences, all

feelings, all states—whether sacred or mundane—are by their very nature transient and ephemeral. Without making any attempt either to hold on to them or push them away, simply remain identified with Consciousness Itself, and continue to practice effortlessly.

Existence...

“I died as mineral and became a plant.

I died as plant and rose to animal.

I died as animal and I was man. …

Yet once more I shall die as man, to soar

The average man...

The more you evolve spiritually, the further you pass from the understanding of
every man.

Bowl of Saki, August 8, by Hazrat Inayat Khan

Commentary by Pir-o-Murshid Inayat Khan:

The average man cannot understand the mystic; and therefore people are always
at a loss when dealing with him. His 'yes' is not the same 'yes' that everybody
says; his 'no' has not the same meaning as that which everybody understands. In
almost every phrase he says there is some symbolical meaning. His every outward
action has an inner significance. A man who does not understand his symbolical
meaning may be bewildered by hearing a phrase, which is nothing but confusion to
him.

I will tell you something about my own teacher. Once I met a learned man, a
doctor of philosophy with a great many degrees. I spoke to him on the deeper
side of life and he became so interested in me that he thought much of me. So I
thought, 'If I were to tell him about my teacher, how much more interesting that
would be for him. If I make such an impression upon this man, how much more my
teacher will be for him, and how much will he appreciate my teacher', and I told
him, 'There is a wonderful man in this city, he has no comparison in the whole
world'. 'Yes?', said he, 'Are there such people? I would so much like to see
him. Where does he live?' I told him, in such and such a part of the city. He
said, 'I live there too. Where is his house. I know all the people there. What
is his name?' So I told him, and he said, 'For twenty years I have known this
man, and you are telling me about him!' I thought, 'In a hundred years you would
not have been able to know him'. He was not ready to know him.

If people are not evolved enough they cannot appreciate persons, they cannot
understand them, they cannot understand the greatest souls. They sit with them,
they talk with them, there is a contact of the whole life, but they do not see.
Another person in one moment, if he is ready to understand, makes a benefit out
of it. Imagine, the learned man had known my teacher for twenty years and did
not know him. I saw him once, and became his pupil forever. One might ask, 'Was
this man not learned, not intellectual?' Yes, he was. Then what was lacking? He
saw my teacher with his brain, I saw him with my heart. People pursue
spirituality with their brain: that is where they are mistaken. Spirituality is
attained through the heart.

The more one evolves the more one will discover the different grades of people,
just like the different keys on the piano. One is lower, another is higher.
Every person has a different grade of evolution. Also, the higher you evolve the
more you will find that you cannot drive everyone with the same whip. You have
to speak to everyone differently, in fact in his own language. If you speak a
language he does not understand, it will be gibberish to him. ...

Once when traveling I met a man of a very dense evolution, a soldier who always
lived in military surroundings and who had very fixed ideas of his own. And when
we were talking together and it appeared that we thought differently about
something, I happened to say in order to preserve harmony, 'Well, we are
brothers!' He looked at me with great anger, and said, 'Brothers! How dare you
say such a thing!' I said, 'I forgot. I am your servant, Sir.' He was very
pleased. I could have argued, but this would have created disharmony without
reason. The foolishness of that man blazed up just like fire. I put water on it
and extinguished it. I did not diminish myself. We are all servants of one
another. And it pleased and satisfied him.

Light and Love...

We are constantly told that there is Light and Love pouring upon us as an energy impetus to activate our Consciousness..

The fact is that Everything is Light and Love..

Light and Love is Our very Essence..

Light creates the manifestations that we believe are real..

These manifestations from our sub-conscious minds..

We create the World..

We create the separations called other beings'..

We create the help needed from outside of ourselves..

We create the drama of good and evil..

We seem to enjoy conflict..

These opposing conflicts of the 'sign wave'..

Enjoy the 'Play'..

The actors constantly enter and leave the stage..

Be the 'Watcher'..

Above the conflict..

Know that it is all a dream of entertainment..

You are Watching the Show from the balcony..

The person...

The person is a very small thing.

Actually
it is a composite, it cannot be said to exist
by itself.

Unperceived, it is just not there.

It is but the shadow of the mind, the sum total
of memories.

Pure being is reflected in the
mirror of the mind, as knowing.

What is known
takes the shape of a person, based on memory
and habit.

It is but a shadow, or a projection
of the knower onto the screen of the mind.

Ego and Soul...

I have found that the sub-conscious mind is actually what is called 'the soul'..

It does not differentiate between good or bad and admits all thoughts..

It is a direct link to Consciousness and has the ability to create manifestations according to the thoughts admitted into it..

This is why the sub-conscious mind (soul) must be trained by the conscious mind to accept only unselfish thoughts..

The sub-conscious mind will create and draw to it, whatever is kept within this consciousness... good or evil...

The ego is the false self that is given to you by society and family..

This false self is created by the reward or pain conditioning..

This happens by means of education, peer pressure, family pressure, government pressure and the memories and experiences that you have accepted as being 'you'..

This ego is created by society so that you will fit into it as being a 'normal' human and not think thoughts that are different from the governing society..

This is why 'Killing' is abnormal in society but considered a heroic event in war..

Society determines your belief in the false self that they have created..

It is your duty to break through this wall of lies and find the real Truth of Self....

How to enter Enlightenment...

While in the state of meditation..

surrender all desires including the desire for life as egoic consciousness..

This will be the most difficult thing that you have ever done..

The ego will do all that it can to survive..

It will bring the fear and pain of death within your consciousness..

Keep mentally walking into this death of all that you know as existence..

This requires all of the courage that you have..

Many become frightened at this point and turn around to re-enter the illusion of life and ego..

Keep walking into the arms of death with the Knowledge that You as Consciousness cannot die..

Have the desire to become Nothing..

You will feel an immense strike of Loving Energy hit your body and mind..

You will then Awaken from this dream of egoic life and Realise that You are Light,Love, and Wisdom..

All else was just a dream that you were having...

The Final Reality...

There is only One Reality called the Final Reality and is known as Pure Awareness..

This is the Source that Thought; "Let there be Light"..

This is the source of all including the frequencies of Creation called Divine Consciousness..

This Divine Consciousness is what most call God..

This Divine Consciousness is composed of Light, Love, and Wisdom..

This Divine Consciousness is US, when we have finally surrendered the Belief that we are separate from Divine Consciousness..

This separation is called 'egoic consciousness'..

This is the illusion of separation that we have been fooled into believing is us..

All the Dimensions are also illusions..

All of these Dimensions are of different frequencies and yet existing in the same place..

All of the Souls within these frequencies are attempting to dissolve this separation by increasing the amount of Love that they Are..

These frequencies of learning are called the 'Long Path' and although, time does not exist, this path to Complete Unconditional Love is long..

The 'Short Path' is called Zen Enlightenment and is the direct experience of non-ego called Divine Consciousness..

The 'Short Path' of surrendering the ego or what is called the death of ego..

As Jesus said; "you must die to be born"..

Unconditional Love is Complete non-ego and Complete non-Identity..

Once we have discovered and know that We are not this false self of separation, then Enlightenment occurs..

This Enlightenment is well named because You discover that You are the Energy of Light and Love..

After a while as Light and Love, you desire to be Complete Love and surrender even this Identity of God and Divine Consciousness and become Nothing..

This Nothingness is called 'Pure Awareness' and is Pure Thought with no ego or Identity..

This is the Final Reality and Final Freedom...

The Unconditonal Love from Life...

The attachment and love that we feel for animals is really the acknowledgement of Unconditional Love, also know as God..

You release your own ego in engagement to something that only wants to Love you..

This is the Oneness that is also our goal as souls..

The reuniting of Unconditional Love with the Source of Love called God..

There is no ego in this interaction..

There is only personality..

This personality is a spark from the Fire of Divinity..

But, the spark will always fall back into the Divine Fire of Consciousness after it's short journey..

Let the spark of personality return to the Source of personality..

" I Am that I Am "..

The road continues until the "I Am" returns Home..

But, this is enough for Now...

WHAT IS FREEDOM?...

Being is freedom. It can't be marked, scratched or bound. It is spacious aliveness. It is what is reading these words right now and that which is aware of the coming and going of all impressions. No matter what experiences arise within it, it is untouched and unharmed. If it was imprinted by perceptions that arise, it would be a still-life, but it is always open and unfettered—look for yourself.

What we're talking about is your true nature. It is not a thing and, therefore, not subject to decay and disappearance; it is ever-present, ever fresh, crystal-clear aliveness. You cannot see this as an object apart from you—you are it!..........

Just as the lowest in ego becomes the highest in Love..

you must become non-existent to become all of existence..

Enlightenment is really just waking up from the dream of egoic consciousness..

Once the false is dead, the Real that cannot die is found..

Therefore, the purpose of life is to wake up from this dream..

This dream is a manifestation from Divine Consciousness as a play of discovery..

The problem is that We as Divine Consciousness have fallen asleep and allowed the mind to have complete control over the dream..

different sides of the same coin.

They each assume that there's a separate and
independent self that's feeling...or that's not
feeling...a certain level of esteem about itself.

Both positions equally support the illusion of the
actual existence of a real coin...a real historical
self.

In true awakening, though, there can be no
coinage.

Reincarnation...

Who is reincarnating?..

It is the imaginary ego and nothing else..

Divine Consciousness is already Everything..

We as Divine Consciousness are already within every atom and illusion..

Divine Consciousness does not need to learn to be Love..

Love is Its' Nature and Being..

Then who is trying to become Love?..

The imaginary self trying to learn why it does seem to exist..

It becomes Love as it continues to die..

As Jesus said; "you must die, to be born"..

Belief is this imaginary self keeps this illusion of separation active..

Knowledge will Free "You" from "you"..

If You become Your Real Self by the death of the imaginary self, then why do we continue to suffer?..

The false ego myth is constantly put into your sub-conscious mind as real by the media, education, and fellow humans..

This is the false reality that is created by "thought"..

Freedom Requires Awakening from this false story of reality..

The Unconditional Love from Divine Consciousness cuts through this illusion of reality by cleaning the lens of our inner sight....
