The Single Mind...

"People are confused and unhappy because they never know from one
moment to the next which side they should be on. Nervously jumping
back and forth like a caged canary, a man is haunted by fear of
making the wrong or the less-advantageous choice. The mistake is
the mistake always made by a divided mind - it thinks its life
depends upon a secure attachment to either this or that. The single
mind has no fear of either this or that, for it does not wrongly
divide life into opposites in the first place. Being whole, it sees
the whole."

Vernon Howard Esoteric Mind Power, p. 60
