Consciousness...

It is thanks to Consciousness being present that all things can appear to be identified. Things always depend entirely on Consciousness being present to give them their identification.

No thing has any awareness, any intelligence or ability to identify itself. No thing has its own identity.

By themselves, things don’t even know they appear to exist. This book doesn’t know it appears to be here, nor does this hand, nor the sensation of touch. The body doesn’t know it exists.

Not one single thing in the entire universe knows that it exists!

The only One conscious to know anything exists is Consciousness. It is the only one that knows there is such a thing as existing!

You know you exist, which means Consciousness, not any thing, is Your Identity.

Since you are not an identified thing called a body, you cannot honestly take the point of view of the body. Ever. It is not your point of view to take.

Only what is true of Consciousness is true of you.

So never be intimidated by Consciousness, Awareness, or any other synonym, or put them on a pedestal because they are spelled with a capital letter. The Consciousness that is gently being aware right here, now, is never in awe of itself.

Consciousness always is silent, peaceful—yet absolutely certain in being present.

This silent, peaceful certainty isn’t what consciousness is to you.

The silent certainty is You.
