The Life of a Mystical Teacher...

Some Humans are apt to think that Mystic teachers dwell in some sort of ivory tower, having no contact with the realities of a harsh world..Such notions are quickly dispelled by reading about the early lives of teachers like Augustine and Count Tolstoy...The difference between the Mystic and his critic is that the Mystic has met and conquered the harsh world, while the skeptic is still punished by it...The Mystic Path has everything to do with everyday affairs..Take, for example, failure to break an unwanted habit..What goes wrong ?, The person fails because the very self who is trying to break the habit is the same self trapped by it..A new sense of self is needed..When the human discovers this new self, they also break the habit, for humanity's essential self is jailed by nothing....This is why we study about the two selves that exist within our selves...An individual lives with two conflicting selves within themselves,,Their True Self and their False Self.....The False Self consists of everything negative within themselves and the Real Self consists of everything Positive within themselves....That's why the mission of the Mystic is to anihilate the False Self to regain the "Kingdom of God Within"....
